on 12/21/23 i placed order **********-- for the black on black ****** sandals. on 12/29/23 i received black on white finnie sandals. i did notice a few reviewers stating they got the wrong color but thought that was a mistake, now i believe this is false advertisement and the sandal doesn't even come in the color advertised. i reached out by chat on 12/29/23 and spoke to ***** who asked me for a picture of the sandals and made me wait for *************************************** to the return portion of their website. i could've done that myself i was looking for him to send me the correct sandals while i return these. he ignored my inquiry about sending the correct sandals and kept prompting me to the return label. after i asked him a few times and then he just disconnected the chat. first of all this is false advertising and you shouldn't even make your customers go through the hassle of a return for false advertising! second of all shame on michael kors for hiring rude people to be on customer service. back in the day if you hung up or disconnected a chat on a customer that would be grounds for termination. these days seems like nobody cares! stupidity, rudeness, and incompetence is the new norm and mk hopped on board! i have been proudly wearing mk for 20 years but no more! u will lose many more customers this way.Customer Answer

I purchased an item online. Some boots. They were too small so I initiated a return. When initiating a return, I was given a return in store option. It generated a receipt with an in store return barcode. I drove 30 miles to a store, and upon arrival, was asked for the order number and email address. I was never asked for the return receipt. I was told that I was good to go that they would turn in the package to **** Why did I drive 30 miles so a store could turn it into **** I could have done that my self! And *** would have given me a receipt, the store did not give me anything indicating I was physically in store returning an item. I called customer service, and I was told this is their policy. Furthermore, I was told it will take 5-7 days for the store to send my package and the warehouse to receive it. Then 3 days to inspect the item. Plus an additional 3-5 business days for the refund to be issued. Thats ***** days, that is absolutely ridiculous and unreasonable. What is the point of returning an item in store?! In addition, why is this unlike any other business working with consumers. Normally, you can buy an item, return it in store. They give you a receipt and it takes 3-5 business days, and you get your refund. I would like to speak to someone in regard to this concern.Initial Complaint

I visited the following Michael Kors location on Tuesday, December 12th to process a return:******************************************************************************************* The store manager stated "all Michael Kors stores systems are down" and so she was unable to process my return.I then called Michael Kors CS to confirm, after which they emailed me a return shipping label. I returned the item via *** that same day. (******************)On 12/12/23, I received an email stating the following: "Thanks for mailing your return. Well let you know as soon as we receive it and begin to process your refund."On 12/18/23 I received an email stating the following:"Your return has been received. Well issue a refund to your original method of payment as soon as possible and send you an email once processing is complete."On 12/27/23, I received another email stating the following:"We're sorry it didn't work out! We've received your return for the merchandise listed below. Your request is being processed and a refund will be issued to your credit card as soon as possible."I then called Michael Kors CS to find out the status of my refund as I found it strange that I got another email but still hadnt received a refund.The CS rep stated that the refund "failed" that I would be issued a certified check that will take 3 -8 weeks to receive. My complaint is that had I not proactively called, I would've never known the actual status of my refund. The emails sent were misleading and false. Now to have to wait 3-8 weeks for a CHECK, after wasting time and gas driving to a store who also couldn't process the refund, is absolutely ridiculous!Customer Answer

I purchased a watch online michaelkors.com December 19 2023and my credit card was charged for the full amount of the purchase $290.09. I paid for overnight shipping. The item was not received. I contacted chat and phone agents on December 20, December 21 and December 22. I was told the item as not available and there was no information available as to when the item might ship. I asked to cancel the order since it did not ship and i was told they are unable to cancel the order and that I should wait for it to show up then return it. this purchase was for a Christmas gift and receiving it after Christmas is pointless. As of this writing the product has not been received and my credit card has been fraudulently charged.Customer Answer

On 12/02/2023, I placed an order I on ******* Kors online, checked out using my MK gift cards. The order couldnt processed, I got an error message, contacted customer service was told system down for some reason but $250 on my gift card was deducted. I called again and was told its pending and take up to 24hrs to release, 24 hours turning into 7 days. I called multiple time, written multiple times still no one stop it contact or responded. I called again and ask for corporate phone number or email but the agent responded I dont have that kind of information I said you dont know the information of the corporate that you work for she replied NO I DONT Wow, its hilarious. I dont think it legal to holding money of the customer for no reason. I love to shop at ** for any occasions gifts for friends and coworkers but after this issue and being mistreated, will take my businesses elsewhere.Customer Answer

Case **** - purchased this bag less then a year ago and the side seams starting pulling apart as well as the handle on the bag. I confirmed it was under warranty. I paid $27 to ship the purse back to them & waited 8 weeks for it to be returned only to be returned without having been fixed! I immediately contacted them and have called and emailed 10+ times over the last 4 weeks with no response. *** asked for a supervisor or manager several times and apparently there is never any available. Im livid I paid so much money for the bag to begin with then paid almost $30 to ship it back and still dont have a repaired bag or refund and get zero response from the company. My husband purchased a bag for me, when we received it not only was it the wrong color we ordered but there was also damage to the bag! I placed an order online through ******* Kors website order *********** and I did. It receive it but it was marked as delivered. I chatted in on 11/05 and was told my account was marked for potential fraud and that they can't issue any refund. I don't understand how me not getting my order delivered is potential fraud.
