    Ordered some clothes on Christmas Eve that was supposed to arrive with 3-5 business days. I not only didn't receive the clothes but they took over 40 days to get delivered. I told the company that I would like a refund because I moved by the time clothes would have arrived. Merchant agreed with the refund and was processed 2/12/2025. Current dispute team has been taking the time reviewing my dispute take much longer then needed to review my dispute when I've provided documents. They will continuously give you the same response of waiting 90 days and customers are not allowed to talk to the dispute team. I've been pretty much told to wait until I here from the dispute team

    I was just notified that current opened an account in January without my authorization. Due to past identity theft my SSN has been locked down. If they had run a credit report I would have been notified. They should have fraud practices in place to prevent this. I need them to shut this account down immediately and I need it removed from my credit report.

    I received two emails from current saying that I opened up a bank account but I did not. 2 Days later I received a notice that current account was open and it was now showing on my credit report I called the company to report a fraud they said they were escalate the situation but they did not give me any resolutions how or why they allowed someone to open up an account with my identification. They also did not give me a timeline on the resolution from the escalation team or any reasonable means of documentation so I can submit to the credit appeals defending my identity against account that was supposed to be open with current.

    I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:

     

    I would like to proceed with Arbitration to determine the resolution to this on going issue as I believe fraud has been committed as I requested proof of investigation as it was not sent to me ,also with still showing lack of evidence as I dont have much to give in documentation of whats being asked of me I was scammed by 90day credit as they failed to provide evidence of work done but this would be another failed attempt with investigations however contract was made to be conspicuous and deceptive to scam customers out of money, also i request for phone calls to be investigated as I requested to cancel the account with ***** credit experts prior to them taking my money still after several attempts throughout one day but for months which I had to block them for how many attempts they were charging my account regardless of anything I requested cancellation prior before they stole my money they never mentioned to me about a cancellation form! They offered some of my money back out of the $300 due to lack of documentation to provide me on the work done for my credit report I was offered $150 but representatives never got back with me which further tells me they were in the wrong at some point to be willing to solve the issue. Im fully aware of the contract but I also requested cancellation and the company refused with continued service with now arguing I signed a contract for service but failing to mention I requested cancellation prior before they took my money from my account. ***** credit experts stated that I had to pay SmartCredit which was $29.95 to be able to properly access my account properly due not pay over time just to basically have me reinstate my account just to turn around and claim they found nothing wrong ! Which is not true Im reporting scam and also bank fraud for improper use of customer banking institution after many failed attempts even before requested cancellation.

    I also complained to current about the golden bear restaurant how they cooked and prepared my meal under pork which caused me to vomit all over they bathroom I let management know but the manager insisted on being argumentative over the situation so I paid the entire bill even though I never ate the meal because of how  they mishandled my meal.I requested a manager the lady stated shes the manager & that I still needed to cover the bill even though I mentioned the lack of care my meal was prepared and the rude service from the manager.

     

    I do not agree to the investigations as they lack evidence and transparency as I request for arbitration to settle this matter as Im a victim of fraud which is why I no longer trust the services of Current or use Current as a source of banking anymore due to the ongoing situations.

    Current closed my account for false allegations. My daughter has leukemia, an organization contacted funds for groceries and sent me a check. I still have the check, foundation letter and information. They declined check and next day closed my account for fraud. This foundation is very much legit and has even attempted to reach current. I want my account back , I didnt do anything wrong and if I cant get my account back I want my money expedited to me. This is crazy

    Im filing this complaint because Current has been very difficult and unprofessional with this situation and I have no other choice. I filed a dispute on a $600.64 charge on my account on November *********. I was issued provisional credit on Dec 6th until they investigated my dispute. On Dec 19th they reversed the credit and told me my dispute was denied with NO explanation. Even after i provided valid proof from the merchant themselves saying they were issuing me a refund on Oct 25th because my package was delivered to the wrong address, they still denied my dispute. I contacted them on Dec 14th 2024 to file an appeal to get MY funds back and was told by Supervisor ****** that i would get an answer on my appeal no later than Dec 24th 2024. I never received an answer & or even an update, after that i had to constantly reach out to current and was given the run around every single time. Most agents didnt care to help and supervisor ****** was & has been very dismissive and not willing to help me throughout this very stressful situation. She ignored my emails & even forwarded them to other agents. She lacked empathy and customer service skills. After waiting a whole month for an answer on my appeal I was told 2 different answers hours apart which makes absolutely no sense, at first I was told to provide more documentation even though I did that initially, then after providing it once again I was told hours later that my appeal was denied and that basically there was nothing they could do about it (Agents *********** specifically). I in fact did have all valid proof but **************************** disputes team is doing a lousy job at helping costumers get their funds back from scam merchants. Theyre being very shady and have horrible business practices. I want MY $600.64 refunded because I did not receive any products or services from the merchants!! Current has also caused me major stress, and a big money loss since November of 2024. They need to do better

    I included all my correct information. If you look up my Current account with the email i provided you will find all my acount info and this is tbe reason i had to come to BBB because yall are again refusing to actually help! I had to make previous complaint about a whole different issue with yall months ago and yall found my account easily. So i dont buy this excuse! Im still waiting for some actual help and my $600 back!!

    On 12/21/24 i made a purchase from a website called ************ for some auto parts and it went thru what they don't tell you is they put a hold on your card after a purchase for whatever reason and I lock my card everytime after a purchase so my car declined it the 1st time they tried to put a hold of $65.85 and on the 23rd 2 days later they charged my card $65.85 even tho no purchase was made so. I filed a dispute with my bank Current and I got ahold of ************ they said it was a hold on the account and I should recieve it in 7-10 business days now that I knew i assumed the bank would resolve it but nope they refuse to give it back even though it's plain thievery
