Crunch Fitness refuses to close my account, they took $107.00 out my account, and still refuses to close my account with them. I do not attend this gym and they hold you credit card hostage. They have terrible business practices, and this company needs to be investigated.

I have recently turned 65 and have changed my membership to silver sneakers. Prior to silver sneakers my membership cost $24.99/month and then bc I opted for a level higher fitness I paid an extra $5/month. Now that I am in silver sneakers insurance is paying for my basic level. I am now being told if I want to remain in the level higher of fitness the $5/month cost will be increased to $15/month. TRIPLE the cost. Crunch is still getting the same amount of money from me just from silver sneakers now instead of from me directly. So on top of that money they now want an extra $15 from the elderly (silver sneakers) members. We on ******** are on fixed incomes and It feels like crunch fitness is price gouging the elderly. It feels discriminatory and unfair. I had to quit the advanced level of fitness because I will not allow myself as a silver sneakers member to be taken advantage of and be discriminated against.

I pay the membership fee where I can cancel at any time. I have been trying to cancel since February and it is now April and still no one has gotten back with me if it is cancelled. I have emailed over 10 times and have not gotten a response back. This is the ************, ** crunch fitness. The communication is awful, the ** there has never helped me with this situation. I called and was told my membership was pending cancellation and I would be canceled by the end of the month, but April came along and they tried charging me $24 for my membership, when I never even paid that to begin with. Crunch is VERY unprofessional and is not there to help you at all. I have never dealt with a business so unprofessional as they are.

I got a membership for the Crunch fitness location in ***** ***** and these people started charging my account in the amount of $312 for a personal trainer I reached out and told them that I wanted the trainer but please dont charge my account until after the 15th of the month. And again the hey charged my account multiple times to where ** going to dispute the charges with my bank they charged my Chase account in the four months in a row for service that I requested to be stopped Dec 7th of 2023. They proceeded to charge my BOA card now for the amount of $312 multiple times also after they were told and requested to cease charging my accounts. I went into the location signed documents and spoke to multiple people and still nothing. Today is my breaking point with this location. 2/9 & 3/5 they emailed me stating they are going to send me a refund in the amount of $312. And still today they havent sent me anything back yet. 3/13 I called the location to speak with someone a young man answered who had absolutely no idea in what was happening. He in returned put ****** on the phone who is a complete liar who Ive spoke with several time and to avail has she helped me with this situation. All she is good for is saying no one is available but she will have them call you the next day and nothing. Im in the process of seeking legal action against them because they have made this entire process impossible and stressful beyond recognition. I would definitely recommend that they close this location down they are all full liars and scammers. This isnt the type entity that is worthy of people hard earned money and they bully and run through peoples accounts to benefit their sales quota . They **** overall

Job recruiter and crunch location denied/rejected me from employment and I was told that the position was filled even though they originally told me they had job openings prior to scheduling an interview.

Fun day at crunch! A member starting chasing me around calling me names and telling me to leave their trainer alone. Never once have I even spoke to this trainer in my life. That means the trainer has been talking about me for no reason to clients and other members. So unprofessional! Then my friend gets assaulted by this member the trainer was working with! This gym is out of control and I have never been so disrespected in my entire life! Oh and the trainer doesnt like me bc she was in the wrong and approached me on gym floor and told me to move my stuff while they give tours to people not even members yet! I have never been to a gym where the trainers micro-manage the members. Then she has been talking about me to other staff and they all stand around and talk about me like junior high. The only positive is the assistant manager ****** was there to help me during all of this. He is an outstanding person and was just trying to diffuse the situation. We shall see how the gym takes care of what happened today! This has been happening for some time now. And it needs to be addressed! One trainer told another member she was on the heavier side so she should do power lifting. Insane! If you dont like me bc of my appearance thats on you, not me!!! Staff that has been talking about me for over a month in comments! This is the ***** location in ******** City!

CRIME family attitude about memberships. My sales rep was terminated because "he was creating fraudulant accounts;" according to his assistant manager. I believe that disclosing that type of information to anyone other than the employee is a crime as well. Best thing to do is send a written letter deauthorizing them to bill you. Send to their 3rd pary agent, *** Billing, LLC as well. Make sure you call your banks folks. Let them know this fraud is occuring. Do not be shy. The more the banks receive information the better. Dispute all CC charges directly with your bank. I'm a person with cataracts who can not read and when someone tells me something with a straight face I tend to believe in them. Dont believe in Crunch Fitness. Liars, Cheats, and Thieves. Class Action Lawsuit warranted.

I signed up for the $15.99 Month-to Month No Commitment plan, which they are still advertising. I attempted to cancel after 1 month due to the filthy conditions and broken equipment. They told me there was a minimum 60 day commitment, despite advertising no commitment. They then told me they charge a $50 annual fee at 60 days. So you arent allowed to cancel until 60 days, so they can charge you more money. Despite cancelling, Ive now been charged for a third month. They are false advertising!
