Hello! I was a very happy crunch fitness member at one point. I moved cities and had to cancel my membership. No issues there. However, they continued to charge me for personal training sessions, months after I had canceled those. *** reached out multiple times for this to be corrected, with photo proof of the charge on my bank account. They say that their system shows no signs of a charge, so they cannot refund me. So Im being charged $280 for a personal training membership that was canceled in November of 2022. The location in *****************, ** has horrendous reviews in which it seems a lot of people have similar issues. Avoid this place at all costs.

I don't recommend this place to anyone. It says no comments but yet they wont let you cancel. I signed up for the 1$ and free month online after the 30th email. I had to get another job because bills were getting expensive, so I couldn't get to the gym like I wanted too. I called & went to the gym maybe 4x each & it was always the run around to cancel. I finally got a chance to talk to a manager and she told me I haven't utilized my free month nor any other days and told her why. But instead of her canceling my membership she gave me 2 extra months free. I told her I didn't want it then she says my card will be charged 54$ for yr plus monthly fees for something I don't use. My 16yr old son signed up also & now I can't cancel him either (stealing from teenagers also) he will be charged on his allowance card also just like me. 11 pages of small print to read about contract that's where they get you at. I guess they will take a 16 yrold to court for payments because he used his own card. The gym is very nice and clean but canceling is very hard. They don't even deserve a star. Also they put it on your credit report.

Hi there. This is by far the worst gym experience I've had. I'm trying to cancel a gym membership I had created for my mom as she was vacationing with ** for a couple weeks. The gym recommended that i take the monthly membership as i can cancel anytime. Those were the exact words of the guy that helped us. Now She has left for her *************** and I'm unable to cancel the membership even though I'm the one paying for it. Now they're telling me what should've been said/explained in the first place, that my mom has to be present in order to cancel the membership. So now I guess I'm going to be paying for this membership for the rest of my life by their logic. Because how is she supposed to walk in to cancel if she doesn't live in this country. This was neither mentioned nor explained to ** upon signing up. They simply said you can cancel at anytime after I explained the reason I had for taking the membership.this is frustrating.

Total scam company. Been over charging my bank account and when I called to cancel I was told I had to come into the gym during business hours. I told them I was disabled and have never been in a gym in my life and did not ever sign up for a membership. They said they would not stop charging my bank account unless I came in and discussed it with them. What a ripoff company.

I had the worst encounter with the employees at Crunch Fitness *********** **. I signed up thinking it would be a positive experience but turned nightmare-ish almost immediately. The day after signing up I realized I didnt want the membership anymore. I called the next day and asked if they could cancel the membership. I didnt mind continuing for the month so, not asking for a refund for the first month. The guy on the phone said ok youre canceled as of February 24, 2023. Then I got text messages to the contrary and so, called to verify that my membership was in fact canceled. A woman answered like it was her personal phone hello. I said, is this Crunch Fitness? She responded yes with an attitude. She eventually hands the phone to the general manager. When I explained that someone at that location said they set a cancellation date on my account and just wanted to verify. The manager explained that wasnt the case because they were the only person that could cancel accounts and the policy states that you can not cancel prior to three months. He didnt mention this but three months would be after they charge you an additional annual fee. Had this been explained to me prior to joining and I agreed to it - I wouldnt have had an issue but I wasnt told about this policy and sounds like the only way to cancel is for the account to be referred to their collections service. Now Im concerned my credit will be affected poorly for simply wanting out of this membership?!?! The last attempt to cancel was to email the manager at that location. I learned that as long as you put the request in writing within three days - you can cancel without any issue. I joined on the 27th and emailed on the 30th and the manager is stating that that's five days. It's exactly three days. He's just choosing to give me a hard time. He says the account is frozen but I don't believe that. The account still looks active on the app. I just want this nightmare to end.

I enrolled in crunch fitness **********, in Florida, I asked for a personal trainer, I filled out documents in which I understood that it would cost me 208 dollars for two classes, I did an entrance class for the cost of 10 dollars, it was included with my membership, I did not come to my two paid classes, and communicated that I did not want them that I would train alone. I was forced to pay a little more than 800 dollars due to signing a series of documents (my English is quite bad) when I tried to cancel the service which I never used, I had to pay it in full. I feel like I was robbed in the face for not being an American.

I should have read all of these reviews before I signed up to this business membership. I tried to cancel it shortly after I signed up and theyve given me every excuse in the book as to why they cant, its a HUGE waste of money! Im spending so much money a month for something I cant even use and I cant talk to anyone at corporate. Stay away from this membership because their customer service and how they obligate you to stay in the contract is horrible!

After my husband was sick and I asked many times to cancel. I had to work more hours to cover bills at home. I only used the place less then 2 months and maybe 5 times. THEY WONT My husband passed away, I canceled my card, wrote a letter, spoke to management at the gym and no one cares. Pay, pay, pay. They dont care about you only the bank accounts.
