1 starI was recently given a promo for free meals if I resubscribed. I did that and selected 3 meals for 2 people, which wouldve been around $26 for my first box, then rising in price until a total of $60 after the promo. I was okay with that. The next screen prompted me to select 12 meals. Due to how the promo indicated free meals, I was under the impression that those meals were included with the 3 free. I selected 12 meals. Days later, I was charged $100 & some change for a 12 meal box. All of my other boxes were still the 3 meal plan, so I know I didnt select the wrong plan!When I reached out to customer service and explained that something had to be wrong with the website at the time, the agent said did you get an error message? To which I replied No. & he said Good, that shows there wasnt an error on the page. As if the website would tell me that information. Hellofresh doesn't want their customers to know they are charging their card until a day later so that if you want to cancel the box you can't! They will proceed to tell you the reason is because you didn't ask 5 days before it was purchased. How am I supposed to ask 5 days before it was purchased when you charge my card a whole day later?!! That is crap! I use to be a fan of hello fresh until they stopped caring about their customers and started caring all about the money. Also the limited options are CRAZY! You expect me to pay that much money for the same food almost every week... insane. Also their sales *** did not care about my situation, and never addressed how my card was charged a whole day later so that I wasn't able to get a refund. I'm so glad I cancelled my subscription with yall, I'll probably switch over to Homechef because honestly they had more options and were very nice and understanding when I would forget to skip a week or did not like the options they had for that week. Oh and they also DID NOT CHARGE MY CARD A DAY LATER SO I COULDNT GET A REFUND.HelloFresh

This company is by far the worst customer service and shady business practices all around. My husband ordered a box from them previously and we loved!!! the food and the directions were simple. As life right now is difficult for everyone we both decided to cancel our subscriptions and come to find out in total they took $ 120 from myself and my husband. They strategically take your money in the middle of the night 5 days before your order is supposed to be delivered which in their policy states once they arrive in 5 days you cant get a refund. Even though we canceled they still took our money and never even offered us a refund for the inconvenience. We are seriously looking into a attorney because ********* has more customer support than ********************. DO NOT ORDER FROM HELLOFRESH!HelloFresh

1 starThey created fake emails associated with my work address (which I had never provided) in order to send me mailings after I had removed my home address. When contacted, they said it would take at least two months to stop the mailings. They dont let you cancel subscriptions. They dont refund you if you accidentally order something, or allow you to change your food order. I changed mine online but they said there was nothing they could do when it showed up anyway so I ended up with ten meals I didnt like and was forced to pay for. Overpriced and predatory. Absolutely worst customer service we have ever experienced. Still havent received our food. 2 days waiting now and no one seems to care. Cant speak to a manager, they will call you in *****! The ppl you actually speek with are very rude. They keep saying our food is coming and it will not be bad but if is, call again. Plus weve now had figure out dinners, nothing easy or nice about HelloFreshHelloFresh

More than likely this is my own fault but i was under the impression that hello fresh was food service that delivers healthy and fresh food for its clients. While the meals are delicious, they are incredibly poisonous ingredients. Sauces FILLED with seed oils, bread is from BLEACH FLOUR, no meats are organic or grass fed, only farmed. Nowhere do they advertise that they are a “healthy or organic company” but just a warning to those trying to eat “healthy” this company ain’t it. Lowest quality ingredients 6 meals a week for $70… For that money go to whole foods and pick out real food that won’t get you sick.HelloFresh

I wanted to see what Hello Fresh had to offer, but I had to enter my credit card number in order to look at the selections. What I didn't know was that I was ordering those selections when I looked at them. My daughter tried to help me delete the selections; however, that was not possible. A few days later, I received a text from my bank asking if this was a fraudulent charge. I informed the bank that the company charge me twice what they said I would be charged. They told me it was not fraudulent and to contact Hello Fresh. I contacted ************* and was told there was nothing they could do about the charge even though I had the emailed invoice saying it was half what was charged to my credit card. They also charged me $9.99, which is supposed to be refunded. I feel like they are definitely taking advantage of people with the way their website is set up and the way they charge. I have canceled my account and will never order from Hello Fresh or any other business like this.HelloFresh
