      HelloFresh requires clients to enter credit card information before even being able to see what they might purchase under the pretense of not having elected to make a purchase, yet, once credit card information has been obtained, provides no clear warning that a purchase has been locked in and providing no clear way to opt out of making a purchase at that point. Their system then continued to add unwanted items to my cart as well as repeatedly altering quantities Id selected. I was led in by the promise of first time discount prices and free introductory meals, yet these discounts disappeared in the process of checkout (likely because of their system altering cart contents and quantities) and the price ultimately paid was orders of magnitude larger than initially advertised. There was no clear point at which an agreement to make a purchase was made and, upon realizing that my credit card would be charged, HelloFresh provided no way to cancel the order. The only option available was to cancel future subscription shipments from the company. A ****** search revealed that it is the companies policy not to allow cancellation of orders even immediately after having been placed. My only recourse seems to be filing for a chargeback with the credit card company. I would advise anyone not to do business with this ********** summary; HelloFresh is a scam company and the level of deceitful activity they employ ought to be illegal.

      Hello packaged food is more like it. Just received the mango salsa pork tacos kit. We got a package lunch-sized of diced peaches. No fresh mango what-so-ever. For the price we paid, we could have bought the ingredients for cheapers since they say "fresh" but send canned fruit for the salsa. So disappointed.

      I had my meals' preference set to Vegetarian, so as a new customer, I wasn't aware I needed to pick my meals 4 days before delivery. They don't inform us, they don't remind us, nothing. So I go on Sunday to pick my meals, little did I know I'm picking them for the week after. 5 MEAT meals arrived at my house, all of which I paid for, none I could eat. They gave me a 50% discount after demanding for something. I should get a full refund for their mistake!! I get it's my responsibility for not knowing I needed to pick the meals 4 days prior, but my preference was VEGETARIAN and I received NON VEG food. If they are going to pick for me, pick something I could eat!! That is on them and I paid 67$ after refund for their mistake!

      Weve had hello fresh for 4 years. No problems until this year, 2024. Every box has damaged meals now, atleast one a box. The box we just received has been our final straw. The entire box was opened, not sealed. I took it from the delivery driver so there was no additional tampering. The meat packages inside were not sealed but opened and leaking over everything. The ingredient bags were opened as well. Warm, spoiled ingredients. It is only 60 degrees outside and again I took the box from the driver so it did not sit outside. We cancelled our membership and received a refund. This meal service is no longer reliable as every single week of 2024 we have been left with spoiled or damaged goods and have then had to spend more time grocery shopping anyways and meal planning for the week. The main issue we believe is they switched from ***** delivery to random third party contracted drivers who deliver from their cars. It seems the drivers hold the boxes all day in their homes or cars and then deliver when they have time to and do not care about the packages or their contents as ***** did. We never had a damaged box delivered by *****.

      Hello Fresh contracts a company called **** to deliver orders in my area. I typically receive a text from Veho each week confirming my delivery (with a photo of my box). Last week, I received the text, but no photo. I waited a bit, then reached out to **** directly. Only after their internal investigation was I told that my box was misdelivered to another address, and that the box could not be recovered by their delivery agent. I reached out to Hello Fresh **************** as they had already charged my account. I was told there was no way to receive a refund for the missing order, but that my next order would be sent free-of charge. The following week my account was charged again in-full. I reached out to Hello Fresh ****************, again, and explained the whole situation. I was told I would be refunded (but in an amount $1 short of my order value, which I firmly insisted would be corrected) and I made it very clear I would be cancelling my service immediately. I was told this matter will be escalated/investigated by Hello Fresh, but I seriously doubt I will be contacted (or compensated) adequately. Sloppiest service I have received by a meal service company by far, to say nothing of the lack of caring Ive experienced from their customer ********** not use this provider for your meal service.

      Advertisements for discounts or free meals are completely misleading. I get a card offering 16 free meals plus free shipping and 3 surprise gifts over a 9 week period with a new customer subscription no matter how many times I read the card it seems the offer didnt match what I was charged. The first box was discounted but the second box was regularly priced although the promotion said the discount would be over a 9 week period. So I was charged over $150 for 10 meals. I couldve just gone to the grocery store. They are completely unwilling to offer any refunds even though you explain as a customer that there promotions are misleading and there was no information easily accessible to customers explaining the details and the requirements for canceling a delivery. They charged for a delivery I hadnt even received yet and wouldnt let me cancel that upcoming 2nd delivery because apparently you have to cancel 5 days in advance and Id only had the account for exactly 5 days and had just received the first delivery that very day. As a first time customer I am extremely disappointed and feel Ive been scammed. I was excited to use them but I never will consider them again. As a first time customer and just opening an account I should have been honored a refund as this information is misleading and theres not easy access to this information explaining the process. There was also no instruction on how to store the food when I received the first order at all. We had to ****** whether to keep frozen or leave in the fridge. This company is overpriced and a huge scam if you ask me. I was also told to dispute the charge with my bank by a hello fresh employee rather than them just giving me a refund. Thats insane. I better get the dispute resolved since I was told by an employee to file one. And since when is it okay to not offer a refund because a label was created? Just dont attach the label???

      During a factor delivery the driver stepped on and crushed my prescription sun glasses. I will be reaching out to factor to see if they are willing to refund me the amount of the glasses or relieve the situation.Called 7:05pm 8/20 and spoke to *****. Dedicated team was contacted to fix issue of broken glasses.Called 5:21 pm 8/23 and spoke to ****. Was informed that the carrier was the first one to be contacted prior to the dedicated team. I asked to be connected to a manager and was left on hold for 13 minutes. **** picked up and is placing me back on a brief hold for 10 minutes and was informed he would be contacting the courtier. Called 5:15pm 8/24 and spoke to geo. *** took my information for a 3rd time and placed me on hold. Was placed on hold for 25 minutes and **** answered the call. I was a question to send an email showing the damaged sunglasses to her email. I have been informed I will be contacted in 24 to 48 hours pertaining to the development of what will be done about the broken glasses.Called 1:15pm 8/27 and spoke to ****. I was not called back from the previous call and had to call factor myself. I was placed on hold for 10 minutes then informed the manger will not take my call. After informing **** I would be leaving a bad review on the factor page he quickly changed his time and took my information. I am now on hold to speak to the manager. After a 5 minute hold I spoke with Van. Van has followed up with the courier. Nothing further can be done and I was informed that Van will call me back tomorrow at 1:42 PM. I will be patiently waiting for that call.I was called at 3:47 PM 827 by *** ****. Dom informed me that a picture taken of the box next to my glasses prior to the glasses being broken is all the proof she needs to inform me that her driver did not step on my glasses. Factor will not be honoring the week Ive spent to try to get a refund for the destruction of my glasses.
