Horrible. I cancelled, or so I thought, and was still charged $161 for a weeks worth of food. I called asking why I was charged and it's because I didn't complete the concellation process. Evidently, I missed one of the 5 screens I needed to hit "no I want to cancel". **************** would not refund my money and couldn't stop the shipment. This company is sneakyHelloFresh

1 starThey falsely advertised a $35 coupon and when I clicked on it to find out more information, I was charged $265 to use toward my boxes. The $35 "coupon" is me putting up $300 in advance and they only charge me $265. When I realized this (less than an hour after it happened) i immediately contacted them to refund the money and they refused. So disappointed I'm out after my $265 is spent.Review fromTamy I

1 starHello Fresh does not make it clear you signed up for their services. I received an advertisement in the mail with a ** code. Unfortunately, by scanning the ** code my account from over 2 years ago was activated. WHAT>? I called my credit card company to cancel something I did not knowingly sign up for. When I called Hello Fresh to cancel and advise it was not clear that by scanning a ** Code that my account was reactivated. Hello Fresh did cancel the reactivation however they WOULD NOT REMOVE THE PAYMENT INFORMATION ON FILE!!!!! I was advised there was more information and additional steps to remove the payment information on file. HELLO FRESH REMOVE PAYMENT INFORMAITON ON FILE FOR IN ACTIVE ACCOUNTS. THIS IS NOT RIGHT!!! I usually receive my Box on Monday (usually before noon). Did not come, and called. They said it was not picked up and would arrive Tuesday. Did not come. Received an email at 9:00 pm on Tues. stating box was either missing or damaged. Called Weds. morning to just cancel the box since I'm going out of town and won't be able to use the food-- and was informed that that I couldn't cancel it since a label was already made! I have never had an issue with them before this -- I had to run to the store and get food to cook for the week, and now getting $142 worth of food that can't be used since we are leaving to head out of town. Total fail and their customer support could care less.HelloFresh

To be honest I was very skeptical ordering an online meal service. I retired from the retail food business (grocery stores) after forty-eight years. My biggest concern is cold chain integrity which is a critical component for safe food. We live in ********************* which is one of the hottest spots in the nation during summer. The day our meal box was delivered it was 115 degrees. To my delight the box was insulated and had two layers of some kind of frozen ice. The product was cold and everything looked fresh. We ordered three meals for two so a total of six meals on the trial offer. The meals were amazingly good. We took them on our RV trip and I found them easy to prepare. Our travel trailer is small but I had no problem preparing them with minimal pans and bowels. I also found the Hello Fresh app easy to navigate and make adjustments to. I called the online serviceand after two rings an actual human answered. She was extremely helpful with a few questions I had. I look forward to our future meals. For the record I have no investment or loyalty to Hello Fresh. So far they have exceeded my expectation, I hope it continues.HelloFresh

1 starA fraudulent, parasitic company preying on customers bank accounts and refusing to cancel subscriptions.Refused to cancel my subscription after the first month and charged me for nine subsequent boxes at $75 each. After several over the phone complaints and request to cancel the company continued with four more boxes and four more charges of $75 each. I received a refund for three of these boxes and then they charged me for two additional boxes, $75 each. I spoke with ******** from the ******** location of HelloFresh and she required that I provide her with screenshots of the conversation, even offering me a refund for the un ordered unopened, unused but paid for fresh boxes. I furnished the receipts of the screenshots, and the company still has continued to charge me after even applying a three box refund to my account, and assuring me my account is closed an inactive. I will need to take this up with the attorney if it continues as we are trying to purchase a new home and this is directly affecting that purchase.Review fromJeni T

1 starThey NEVER stop sending you junk mail. No matter how many emails you send or phone calls you make. They will reassure you both via email and on the phone they have processed the request and the junk mail will stop, but it NEVER stops! Don’t use them or else you will be stuck with their junk mail. In addition, none of their mailings have a return address so you can’t even send it back. This is a huge danger for identity theft. I cannot believe they’re allowed to function in this capacity. The food was not worth the hassle of the everlasting junk mail with I can’t request to have stopped. Wish I never used them.
I cancelled because the food would arrive and the inside would be damaged. So I would have no choice but to throw out the entire box (chicken leaked over everything, for example). They refused to refund me after the 3rd time it happened. I even had photo evidence but it didn’t matter. I never had that issue with other food delivery services. So I left Hello Fresh. I received two boxes instead of one because I didnt know I had two accounts. I called hello fresh in plenty of time to cancel but the person on the line hung up on me when I tried to explain. When I called again after I received the two boxes and asked for a refund I was told that they couldnt give me a refund. I have been receiving 187 hello fresh boxes and I am really disappointedHelloFresh

HelloFresh has no order reminders and if you fail to "skip" an order and/or cancel your membership, they will charge you with no possibility of a refund. Talk about scamming people. People have busy lives and things happen where maybe they forget to login to skip weeks and/or alter their deliveries. The fact that HelloFresh is unwilling to accommodate things like this and cancel and refund a "processing" order shows poor customer service and an unwillingness to listen customers. Maybe if they sent out reminders of their upcoming deliveries that could help alleviate this and allow people time to go in and change and/or skip the week if they need to. DO BETTER. I won't be coming back.HelloFresh

1 starThey will try anything and everything to get your money. Their marketing schemes and so called promos are misleading and at times untrue. They told me I could postpone my delivery if I needed to if I just started the subscription with the promo now, but turns out, I couldn't move my delivery date to later. They will provide wrong information if it gets you to subscribe or reenroll.The food variety is not even that good, the recipe is boring, takes too much time to prep and cook, and ridiculous packaging (stop putting every single thing into its own plastic seal.
