Every Customer is worth only one box apparently. As a brand new customer my second box was scheduled to ship, but the website said it has not yet shipped, but I will not be here for Thanksgiving so I called to push the date or cancel. I was told by customer service that it was impossible (regardless of it having not been shipped) as I signed a contract and I was not cancelling early enough. I told her that I would be fine to continue if we could just delay, but she said it was impossible. I cancelled immediately and filed a dispute with my credit card company for the $138 dollars they just charged me. Really sad because I would have done this for some time. You got me once, but it won't happen again.HelloFresh

1 starI received a box today that was so poorly packaged, I don't dare use the food. The bottom of the box was damp- turns out the dampness came from the single melted ice pack thrown in the bottom of the box. The packs of meat were strewn carelessly across the melted ice pack, and one pack of pork was up near the top of the box, warm and nowhere near where it should have been. I cannot believe how carelessly packaged this box was. It's absolutely unacceptable.I'm canceling immediately.Review fromPamela A

From a Former HelloFresh customer:Several days ago, I logged in and tried various promo codes to find the best deal. But I didnt commit so I was surprise today when I got a HelloFresh box. I tried to log into the account, but was asked to input a zip code to see if HelloFresh delivers in my area. Had I not just logged in a few days ago? So how was my account now closed? I quickly checked my bank account and saw that I was charged for the box. I am not sure how, because I never entered a credit card when I was trying out the promo codes. I was charged on the same credit card I had used years ago to pay for the service.I called customer service to find out what was going on. How could I be charged if I had not entered a credit card and did not have an active account? The *** kept telling me that I had reactivated the account, had chosen my meals and an add-on. I was very frustrated but said that I was going to sign up anyways, so if she could please retroactively apply the promo code I wanted and get me access to the account. She kept saying she could not. I asked for her supervisor or someone who could help me, but I was given the same answer that no-one with HelloFresh could help me. I just gave up and asked to cancel the account and said that ********************** had lost me permanently as a customer. I asked the *** to put me through to the 'review your experience' survey. She said OK but then promptly hung up on me. Giving her the benefit of the doubt, I called back and briefly gave a summary to the new *** and asked for the "review your experience" phone tree as I had been hung up on before. She said OK and then hung up on me. Wow. I am simply amazed at how much the company's customer service has degraded since my experience with them years ago. I am also deeply concerned about the security of my personal info since no-one knew anything.This is not the same HelloFresh from years ago. Beware if you have any issues becasue you will be given the run around.HelloFresh

I was sent a flyer for returning customers that clearly states that the shipping of $10.99 would be waived on the first 8 deliveries and charged on the 9th and beyond. I sent a picture of the flyer to ******* to confirm, as he only saw on his end that i would get the first box shipping fee waived. Then a different representative ********* took over, and I had to go through the whole explanation all over again. She didn't care about seeing the flyer, she said it was beyond her abilities to do anything about refunding shipping. I don't see how that's possible, if it is a business error. I have been receiving hello fresh for months and I left because it was getting too expensive. I didn't even lapse a month before they sent me this promo. I can't believe they would be willing to lose a customer over $10.99 but I guess that's where we're at.HelloFresh

These people are the absolute worst in customer service. Went on vacation and just wanted to opt out a week. Impossible with these people. They charged us anyway for food that is going to be delivered to our door with no one home. **************** is rude and unhelpful. Thankfully my credit card way familiar with the imbeciles and their "screw you" tactics. Honestly. In ******* we have rip off artists like this today?HelloFresh

1 starI received a HelloFresh offer while online shopping. I had previously tried HelloFresh and didn't care for it so I cancelled. I clicked the offer to look around their site to see if there is anything new they had in case I wanted to give them another try. It prompted me to log in if I had a HelloFresh account so I did. Unbeknownst to me, by logging in, this re-activated my account which prompts the system to continue charging me and my account. I never chose meals or consented to start receiving meals and being charged again! Once I realized what had happened, I used their chat to cancel my account which they did. A few days later, I noticed I still had a charge on my credit card and now an email saying my meal is being shipped to me! I called customer service and they told me that my cancellation came outside of the timeframe to cancel this current delivery and there is nothing they can do other than cancel future deliveries. I am now stuck with this charge and food that I do not want (I don't even know what was selected for my meals)! This is deceptive at best and a VERY poor way to do business!Review fromRob M

Dont order if you actually NEED THE FOOD for the week. If delivery fails to deliver (as they did in my case) you have zero recourse in receiving the needed food. And then customer service has been trained to manipulate by trying to convince you how helpful they are by compensating you. There is ZERO COMPENSATION. It is only not being charged for the product and service that was not delivered. No recompense for the way it has impacted your week. None.HelloFresh

1 starJust checking out the site again after a break and without ordering they sent me meals and charged my account. The food that was sent was so bad I had to throw it out. Great concept, poor execution. They would not give me a refund and even tried to charge me again after I cancelled. Stay away!
