Went out of town and forgot to cancel box. Funds for box were never released but hello fresh sent anyway. When my parents got to the box 2-3 days later, all produce and meat was inedible due to sitting out in 90 degree weather. In my previous experience, they wouldnt send unless funds were available so Im not sure why they sent it anyway. Called to see if I could get some reimbursement and nope. Will never use them again. And I certainly will advise anybody who is considering it against it. Im out 106 dollars.HelloFresh

I wish I could attach a photo of the 17 spoiled potatoes that I received on my most recent order. Three of the meals I chose came with potatoes and every single one of them is rotten and smushed. This is not the first time I have been disappointed with the quality of the ingredients but I kept giving them another chance. Not anymore. I am 100% done with giving them chances. If you want quality ingredients, do NOT buy from HelloFresh.HelloFresh

Hello fresh is a horrible company. Too expensive and they don't take care of their customers. If ya ever have ur account on hold make sure you check the old address if u accidentally restart Hellofresh. If not you're out all the money If they send it to the wrong address. The automated system doesn't ask to update. Hope the ppl 1600 miles away enjoyed the food. Bet they threw it out. Over $100 wastedHelloFresh

Our goal is to make the subscription as easy as possible for you to manage, and we never want to catch anyone by surprise! we send an email with details about how to manage the subscription. You have the ability to skip or edit orders two weeks in advance! We also send a reminder email each Monday, prompting you to login and make any changes prior to your cutoff. After the cutoff, when orders are placed, we are unable to cancel or change orders. Setting a personal reminder on your phone or calendar is a great way to never miss making necessary changes to your order!

3 starsFirst let me say the food is fresh but these people are seem shady. They lock your card on their website locked and you can't remove your credit card from their website. I spoke to a customer service *** who played like he was crazy when I asked him why I couldn't remove my credit card from the website. There's only an option to add another payment! Then they sent me pork meals that I didn't order! I don't even eat pork and they don't have an option that ask if you eat it. They just send you what they want to send you if you don't pick meals! I didn't even know there was a subscription I was just trying to the food out! So I ended up speaking to a supervisor named Bhia. I asked her for a refund and told her there practices seem suspect but nevertheless she processed a refund and told me to donate the box. Also I think their prices are a little too high. I am very disappointed and I do not recommend them because of the locking of cards, they don't have an option that asked if you eat pork and the *** told me they don't give refunds but I got one today *****! ??Review fromSusan K

I used hello fresh about 3 years ago. Fast forward and i live in a different state. I thought i MIGHT rejoin so i looked at the website. I updated my address and planned to think about it. I was notified that an order was sent too my old address with a seconf one on the way also to old address. I called to sort it out. First, very hard to find a ph number. When i got ahold of a customer service person i was told that just bylooking at the website my account was restarted with order sent to old address. Sleezy way to make money. They refused to refund both. But eventully refunded 1 and closed account. I am out $70 st least not 150. This is poor customer service to sneakily reopen subscription without fully informing customer. This company must be having problems financially. Poor solution.HelloFresh

Joined as a returning customer promotion. They sent my box to the wrong address got a refund but it can only be used when the discount ends. Called customer support who said they'd apply it to my next box. Received outstanding balance email. Checked profile and refund was missing the balance for the box but it was labeled as outstanding and they still wanted me to pay it? Shady business practiceHelloFresh

1 star**************** is awful, I tried to contact the 4 times and got hung up on once because I questioned about my order and one told me they could do nothing for me. I had received an email from a friend for first box free, before I received my order I was charged $90.00 and that is what I called them about. I have never had a worse experience with any company. I recently received a discount code for educators. I opened up the HelloFresh site and unbeknownst to be my old account from almost 5 years ago was reinstated without my authorization. I was then charged for 3 meals that unexpectedly arrived today and my credit card was charged for the meals without my authorization. Nothing was authorized, the meals, the menus nor the $53 from my bank! **************** said she understands and I have a right to be upset but no refund will be granted. She then tried to sale me another plan No **** This is fraudulent, misleading and illegal. Buyer Beware! If HelloFresh has your customer information, they will not require your authorization to use your information and will charge your credit card without authorization! Bad news stay away from HelloFresh!HelloFresh

1 starMy children pooled their money for two $60 HelloFresh gift cards to cover our first 2 orders after discounts. However, I encountered several issues while trying to apply them.HelloFresh's website does not accept gift cards as payment; they treat them as discounts. This means you cannot use them for food upgrades or shipping, even though the money has already been paid. To use a gift card, you must forgo all new subscriber discounts and place a full-priced order.After multiple calls to customer service, they confirmed that only one gift card can be used per order, and you must exhaust its balance before applying another. If your balance is $59 and your card is worth $60, you would need to place another full-priced order just to use the remaining dollar. Ridiculous.Additionally, their advertised "12 free meals" are misleading; you lose these if you use a gift card instead of the discount code. Filtering meals by dietary restrictions is also cumbersome, as you must read each recipe individually for allergen information. Overall, the customer experience was frustrating and poorly designed.
