      They Sent me an email, I opened it which reactivated an old account and they automatically charged me and are shipping a box. I called to tell them I didn't order it and she explained opening the email automatically reactivated and they can't refund or stop the order. I have no idea what they are sending me because I did not place an order. It's a scam to do business that way.

      Not a one Star. Negative star. Ripped me off and everyone on here as far as I read. If you pay attention to everyone's reviews. Yup. This probably is one of the most preplanned rip you off company that exists in ******. There setup diliberatly is preplanned to rip money off. I have to say they do this really well. Unfortunately that I can only be guessing. But the box I didn't order didn't want. But got scammed for. O I no it's hard to believe. But if you even go on there website. Chances are your going to be tactically ripped off. Lol I guess they get your money. Regardless!!

      Im sad that I am forced to give this company a star at all because they certainly dont qualify for even one. I have received 6 boxes from them and all meat completely thawed in every box, 3 deliveries contained spoiled meat or vegetables. Everyone I spoke to said they guarantee it would never happen again yet it happened twice more. They refused to replace or refund my money. They also lied and said they canceled my subscription which I didnt believe so I went on the page and Ofcourse they did not. Terrible company

      Use caution when you have allergies and use hellofresh. I have am extreme shellfish allergy where I can and have gone into Anaphylaxis. I have disclosed my shellfish allergy with hellofresh however I was still sent shrimp in my preselected box. I typically pick my own meals but skipped a few weeks due to the holidays and forgot I was even getting a box so I never reviewed and picked my own selection. For people with allergies this is a big deal. I called hellofresh to ask for a refund as I will not be using any item located in that box *** was advised they could not provide me a refund of anysort and to just replace the shrimp with a different protein for the meal. I understood if this was a protein I didn't like but once I saw shrimp was provided to me I threw the whole box away. I know that is wasteful but if the juice from the shrimp managed to leak out of the box onto other things I am at risk for an allergic reaction thus for my own safety I found it best to not use the food supplied to me. I have also requested a manager call back multiple times and have heard nothing. For people with extreme allergies, hellofresh can be a risk to your health and they don't seem to care if they make a mistake that could hurt you. As someone who has used hellofresh multiple times and enjoyed the service to begin with I am disappointed and will not becoming back due to the lack of understanding the company has for people with extreme food allergies.

      I’ve purchased over 80 boxes from hello fresh / **********. The service is something I loved. However - they throw random charges at me at least once a month. My last box, which was $68, they charged me 3 times for. I’ve complained about this over a dozen times. And it’s almost impossible to get my money back. I’ve given them so many chances because I genuinely loved the service and found it SO convenient. But adding extra charges, such as pulling the same transaction THREE TIMES from my bank account, and refusing to do anything about it… it’s my final straw. Disgusting business practices.

      I would say after trying another meal box, hellofresh is by far the best. Sometimes an ingredient might **** or be dry but they give you an instant customer service credit off the app. They also are food safe because they ship the day of packing. The other box shipped 4 days ahead, food was spoiled and no customer service was existent. I highly recommend hellofresh because they ship the food same day, they use reputable shipping companies, and if there is an issue they resolve it instantly. Recipe cards sometimes are wrong but you can print them off the internet, no big deal. It's your responsibility to login the app and choose your meals for the week, but you can plan so far ahead of time, like 5 weeks ahead that it should never be an issue. LOVE this company!

      **************** is terrible. Rip off of a company. When I was a HelloFresh customer I often got spoiled food from the failed packaging or delayed shipping times. I was charged for boxes AFTER I cancelled. They dont delete your debit card information from their systems. *** contacted support 3+ times to opt out of ALL marketing and yet I continue to receive all kinds of mail from them. Their last rep that I spoke to today was laughing at his friends in the background, very inattentive, couldnt even read the prompts correctly/bad English, and hung up on me. I asked him when the mail would stop and he said an hour ago today. So I guess I will be calling back tomorrow to verify that. Any other meal subscription company! Stay away from Hello Fresh and DO NOT give them your information! I can only imagine how weak their cyber security would be. What a joke.

      They advertise to send a free box of food. I sent my son and daughter-in-law who just had a new born baby in the NICU for a week the offer for the free box. My son was looking at the offer. He never ordered any food or gave a card number. The next week they received a box of food and was charged $10.95. The following week they were charged $87. I was on an on-line chat and was told they would cancel the order and have a supervisor call me the next day about a refund. I never was called and the following day they charged them another $87. I called and ****, the representative would not refund the money and would not transfer me to a supervisor. I called back and the rep immediately knew my name. After discussing their fraudulent actions, he honored the refund of $175 within 5-10 business days and said he will cancel the order and email. They never would say how they got his card number. Don’t fall for the free box offer. It’s a scam!!!!

      The refund was never issued. I called a 3rd time. The representative said there was no documentation of me speaking with anyone and being told a refund was being sent. She would not give a refund. She told me she would have someone call me within 48 hours. No one ever called. This company is a scam!!!! I regret sending that offer to my son.

      I initially enjoyed using HelloFresh as a full time college student, but recently I have been tight on time so I had paused delivery for three weeks. I never got a notification about the "deadline" they set for the weekday, and so I was unable to see that they had unpaused my boxes and am out $100. I've been through three representatives, but all three had the same message: they cannot do anything, they've "already submitted my order to local suppliers" -- all of this in less than 24 hours after the deadline. I am aware it is a busy holiday season but I keep on top of my emails; I was never notified of the new box until I received a charge. I have reiterated multiple times that I cannot afford this and that I do *not* want their box. I cannot blame their customer reps but I feel like it is impossible to receive any help or fruitful resolutions.
