      DONT USE THEM IT IS A SCAM. Out of the blue, my account that was canceled in 2018 was reactivated and I was charged and sent meals - that were horrible. I contacted them and told them to cancel my account. Now I am being charges for another box that i did not order, they will rob you blind and the food is not that great. I contacted them but they refused to cancel my order. but they would give me a partial refund before they called it a "one time courtesy". So basically, you get a onetime courtesy as a customer when they make mistakes as a company. Overall terrible experience and would not recommend. HelloFresh used to be good when it was one of the first and ************, but there are way better services out there now. Also most of their meals aren't even good.

      I received a promo/coupon card for HelloFresh. I went to check it out on their website and was prompted to log into my account. An account I had with them from years ago where I tried them out for a few months and liked the food but ended up cancelling my subscription. I checked out some of the food options they now offer, played around with it for a bit and then moved onto something else. I check my bank account this morning and find that my account had been charged for $120. Apparently, unknown to me, when you log into your account for the first time after years it automatically renews your subscription. At least it did mine. I had no idea they even still had my Paypal information, which is how they were able to pull money out of my account. I called ********************** and of course, it's too late, there is nothing they can do blah blah blah. This "order" was placed after 6pm last night and when I found out around 8AM this morning it was too late. I asked to speak with a manger or supervisor numerous times. **************** wouldn't transfer me. I cancelled my bank card so they couldn't pull anything else out and reported them as fraud. But regardless I'm out $120 for something I never wanted in the first place. Be careful with this company. They are scammers and will not do anything to help you.

      This company has sent numerous boxes after I put the subscription on hold. They then told me I also had a subscription to every plate which I did not order. ******* on the phone basically said I was a liar and I did order it. Nonetheless I had canceled 2 weeks prior. I recieved boxes when I wasn't home to accept them. ***** heat and meat don't mesh well. I had to throw it away. Their answer to I have food and no room was to just give it away. Not everyone can afford to give away boxes of food they didn't order. This company in my opinion is a money grabbing scam. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!

      HelloFresh changed delivery date for an order without my consent and did not let me to cancel the order.More details: After using HelloFresh for a few months, I wanted to make a normal update to an upcoming order. My delivery day is Friday and I needed to change my 11/25/2022 order. I logged into my account on 11/19 (before the five-day no-change window started) to cancel, just to find out that HelloFresh changed my delivery day without my consent to 11/23 and I don't have an option to cancel it anymore. Customer service was unable to address the issue. I've requested escalation to the supervisor twice already. The first time I didn't get call back within the agreed time window. The second time the agent forwarded the call to a voicemail.

      I have received 19 boxes and realize how this process works. My deadline to pick my menu has always been Saturday at midnight. However I find out today that they moved my deadline to Friday since Thursday is thanksgiving. I was never told that I had to pick this weeks menu on Friday. When I go today (on Saturday) to pick my menu as I have done previously the other 19 weeks, I find that the box has already been ordered. When I call customer service they say there is nothing they can do and my only option is to cancel my subscription. When I ask to speak to a supervisor they tell me that one is not currently available but one will contact me 1-2 hours later. It has now been 4 hours+ and they still havent contacted me. I find it very unethical that they can change the timelines and not tell you, charge your card for $100 and not be held accountable.

      HelloFresh I recently cancelled an order concerning food boxes that I feel was charging to much money I filed a dispute with the bank and come to find out in addition, These people never refunded back my money .

      Two weeks ago I received a come back offer for HelloFresh to which I looked into using and found that the military discount was a better deal so I decided to sign back up and give them a try to which the first box was supposed to be 70% off and the rest were to be 15% off.
      When the first box was supposed to be delivered, it never showed up so I contacted hello fresh and they informed me then that my ****** payments were not going through and they never sent me any notification or email that this was an issue so they canceled my first two boxes later. However, today I was charged full price and the ****** went through. I was led to believe that my subscription was canceled and I wouldn’t get hit with any HelloFresh charges so I called them today and I was on the phone with them for over an hour and they told me that they could not cancel the box nor refund me. They also refused to honor the discounts from the first boxes that I never received and that was really the only reason I was attempting to try the service again.
      Since I am being forced to try this box at full price, I will update the review with the quality of ingredients and meals at a later time but I’m pretty sure the taste will be tainted with my frustration and annoyance unfortunately.

      Be careful with this business. The food is subpar at best, I received some spoiled items in each of my shipments which if you reach out they will credit a few $$ to compensate but it is inconvenient if you don't notice the issues until you start cooking. They also are sneaky and will set up a box for you when your subscription is on pause without notifying you in advance. When you try to cancel, they absolutely refuse saying it is "past the cancellation window" even if you call Monday morning at 7:00 am for a Friday delivery. They will let you move it up or change the shipping address but absolutely not cancel. They literally do not care that you are traveling even, (offered to ship to my hotel while traveling... Too bad hotels do not have kitchens to prepare food in...) They will tell you that you agreed to their terms when you signed up and refuse to connect you or let you speak to any of their personnel in ******.
