      Their employees dont listen or take what their told seriously.. I called them in March of 2022 & told them I was canceling & to please take my name,phone number,address, etc. etc. & delete me from your computer as for as your company is concerned I dont exist.. I was told its possible I receive something in the next 4-6 weeks.. Sure enough I get something in the mail within 4weeks & just throw it away & wait another 4weeks,expecting not to receive anything cause its been 8weeks now.. Unfortunately I receive the same *****so again I call Hello Fresh once again to tell/ask them again delete me I cancelled in March dont want to receive anything from Hello Fresh so I was told the same thing,they will but theres possibility I receive something in the next 4-6 weeks.. Sure enough in 4weeks I receive mail.. so I wait another 4weeks,well I be **** if I dont receive more freaking mail annoying as h*** So of coarse I again call & repeat everything Ive told Hello Fresh the past 4months,& they repeat the same thing theyve said in the past.. Only for me to receive mail again in the next 4weeks.. So again I wait another 4 weeks only to receive more ***** ******* why I have decided to report on Hello Fresh today Tues. Oct. 11,2022.. Hello Fresh is very disrespectful to former customers by not granting that former customers wishes not to receive anything they come across like they could give a ****..

      I literally would not give them 1 star! I never received 1 box from Hello Fresh yet they have charged my account 1,000s of dollars despite hours spent on the phone trying to get this corrected. After months and months I still have have no resolution and I have had to block them from my bank account! I still call several times a week trying to get my refund. Hello Fresh is a nightmare and are taking money from good people without rendering services and making it impossible to get your money refunded!

      I ordered a shipment and it went to an old address. When I ordered I updated my mailing address, but the system automatically used my old address.

      NEVER AUTHORIZED MY CARD TO BE CHARGED, NEVER AUTHORIZED A MEAL BOX TO BE SENT. AND COME TO FIND OUT THEY CHARGED ME $86 AND SENT A BOX ANYWAYS. I'VE CALLED 3 TIMES TO FIX THIS AND HUNG UP ON EVERY TIME.

      The free box discount codes never work. I was never granted my student discount or first responders discount. I was told a manager would follow-up with me within an hour because they were all "in a meeting" and never heard back. I canceled my October boxes and September and was still charged and it was sent to an address I no longer live at. I told them I wanted to terminate my subscription and because of that, I was unable to receive any compensation. Never sign up for the subscription service again.

      Worst Experience ever. Every Plate has great food, and we enjoyed the service up until we had to cancel. We canceled through the app twice but were still charged and sent boxes. When we tried to contact Every Plate to fix the concerns, troubleshooting said that if we had canceled on the app and it didn't actually cancel, we should cancel online. This is obviously a problem they have had in the past, or they wouldn't have this troubleshooting step. We called customer service to be refunded for the two boxes we were charged for even when we had already canceled the account. The rep was nice and told us that they could refund the second charge but since the first charge was over 7 days we would need to speak with their manager. Their manager needs to be demoted. The manager told us that their logs showed we only canceled once (the later charge) and so they wouldn't be refunding us for the first charge. Then halfway through the call, they told me I was being recorded. If I'm being recorded, I need to know at the first of the call. Otherwise, I won't consent. Then after the manager basically called me a liar, he told me we wouldn't be refunded for either box. I told the manager we had already been promised a refund for the second box, but he reaffirmed we wouldn't be getting any refund. This was really sad because we canceled in the first place because we didn't have the time or need for the boxes. We planned to come back in the future, but that won't be happening anymore.

      I was charged for an order that I didn't know was happening and I called to request a refund and cancel my subscription. The person I spoke to said their supervisor was "in a meeting" and would call me back in an hour. I don't understand why it's so difficult to just refund someone when they don't have the room for the food, nor do they want to receive it.

      Like many people we tried HelloFresh. For our own reasons (the quality for the cost wasn't worth it to us) we canceled in March of 2022. 6 Months later in September we received a "surprise" charge for $91. My wife called to cancel and was met with an extradentary rude customer service representative who hung up on her. After calling again, she was able to reach someone who told her it would be refunded but I have gone to the extra measure to call my bank to ensure a stop payment is put in place. I will not support ANY company who thinks they can reach into my bank account without my permission. We canceled 6-months ago and had not had a charge since them. DO. NOT. GIVE. THEM. ACCESS. TO. YOUR. MONEY.

      In short, this business is extremely predatory and should be avoided.Their app or website does not easily allow for cancelling boxes or your entire subscription. Instead, they rely on people manually choosing to skip weeks, hoping to eventually catch people off guard one of the weeks and charge them.I had this happen to me today. To cancel a box, you must speak with a chat agent or call them, as the option is not clearly presented anywhere in their app or website. When I contacted them to cancel my box that I had just been charged a few hours prior to calling (hadnt even been given shipping information yet), two separate customer service reps claimed I was too late in cancelling as I was within the 5 day cancellation window. The problem with this is that I was never notified that a shipment was pending, and the charge literally just occurred - I had a ****** receipt sitting in my inbox showing the transaction time was only a few hours prior WHILE I WAS SLEEPING and called them immediately to handle it.So, tell me - how is it legal to work with a policy that 1.) doesnt notify users of upcoming planned charges to their account, and 2.) doesnt charge them until its too late to do anything about it? Thats extremely predatory.I called them out on this on the phone and they magically were able to make an exception for me and kept referring to it as a courtesy exception. Ha. I told them to cancel my entire account subscription while they were at it. I did get this notification of account cancellation, so if I get charged again next month, there will be more words.For now, my final words are: predatory scam in a box.
