      I ordered thru ******* they won't let me cancel a subscription they said I asked for. Small print I guess. They took money out three days later then one week later leaving me **** to live off of until Sept 2 22 when I get a check . I tried to contact them, ******* everyone as far back as 8/8/22 no response no refund. I left for 5 days to celebrate my grandson birthday and they'd left another huge bos on my doorstep. Itvwas rotten sitting out in 90 degree weather. I couldn't believe after I called them they still sent another box. Oh it gets better then they took another 70.$$ for a delivery this week. If they send another box I will absolutely cry. I guess I have to cancel my cc but I'm in trouble with my auto pay accounts because all my money was stolen.

      It's not free shipping every week as advertised on certain radio stations... shipping is free only for the first week. How does paying $11 a week for shipping costs save me money on my grocery ****? Of course, the Hello Fresh app did not divulge that until after I ordered, so I immediately canceled and got a cancelation confirmation email. No harm done, right? WRONG. They took $124.86 out of my bank account and said my account was still active, 2 days after ordering/canceling. So much for the cancelation confirmation email. I had to call and talk to offshore representatives THREE TIMES and TWO managers just to get my account canceled. Then they said that they couldn't cancel the first box because they need a "5 day notice to skip". How do I give a 5 day notice when the account is only two days old??? Finally got refunded after pulling all my hair out... THEN the 1st box never came, which is fine, but it PROVED that they were FULLY ABLE to stop the shipment! What a horrible experience... NOT RECOMMENDED.P.S. To cancel/get refunded, I had to DM Hello Fresh on ********* Good luck!

      Be aware! They will take your credit card information and charge you right away. Should you decide to deactivate your account they will still charge you,I received no notification that anything was sent to the complex where I live so I was unable to try to cancel it. The food sat in a reception area for well over a week.

      Hello Fresh notified us on Sat, Aug 13th of a very generous $143.50 gift from friends; and, by 4:33 AM ET Wed, Aug 17th, HF had canceled the gift, even before the first auto-scheduled delivery (Aug 18th). Their email read, Youve canceled your subscription but I hadnt. I called Wednesday morning to find out why HF had canceled the gift subscription. After I talked to ****** Wednesday, I decided cancellation was indeed best: ****** said she was so sorry that had happened, would re-instate me, and had already deleted the $10.99 for the second-week delivery charge (Aug 25th)...What? (Today that delivery charge still shows as pending even though my account is marked de-activated, canceled, no active payment ...Then she said that the gift had been canceled because the gift was for 4people/4meals/wk and would be valid only that way...What? When I signed up, I was given the option of 2persons/ 2 meals/wk.Then she said that I had ordered two weeks already and the balance would go on my gift card. Confused, I asked to repeat the answer I thought she had landed on. She hung up on me. This is one of several recurring complaints. (BBB advisory: Please be advised that due to the high volume of complaints received for this business, BBB publishes 1 out of every 5 complaints handled through our conciliation process.)I emailed HF later Wednesday, confirming the cancellation of my account, and canceling the Aug 25th delivery. I should have no charges to my credit card and the donor of the gift should receive a full refund.I dont believe HF has a true gift card program: They appear to charge the donor and then also charge the recipient. No one can/will explain the program. There is a feeling of gotcha to this meal delivery service.

      They do not honor requests to skip delivery, the quality of the product has declined and the price has gone up. They are hard to reach, website has been down . Even after I spoke to a customer service representative who also could not access my account. They refused to cancel and refund money for an order that was skipped. Very rude customer service from a man named ******** was clearly from another country.

      I just looked into Hellofresh.com and the next day they charged my card $330 for 1 week of food. I had immediately closed after seeing it. on Saturday. I contacted customer service and the refund my money. I did not want this nor did I order it and they just took the money. They took my money and made my account in the negative. I hate this company, do not order from them or even try to look at their website

      I have done business with them in the past but I had received an email about a new deal they were having. I logged in and tried to see how much the meals would be. After deciding it wasnt for me I just logged out but then received three emails that my payment declined. I never ordered anything and they illegally charged my card multiple times. Luckily my card number had changed and they were not able to complete the transaction. I see I am not the only person that this has happened to. Be weary of any company that makes you put in payment info to even see the prices. Stay away from this company

      You cant see the menu until you enter your CC. Decided to cancel within hours and was charged 77$ for a first box. Refused to return the money and sent out meals I didnt bet pick anyhow. Sneaky buyer beware

      Terrible service and communication. Placed my 1st order with them, delivery scheduled for Sunday 8/7. Delivery service texts me they didn't receive order from Hello Fresh so won't be delivered. I call HF and was told it's on its way, will arrive Monday 8/8 between 8am-8pm. Monday 2pm - I call to check and THIS time HF says they ran out of ingredients so order hasn't shipped and can only tell me it will arrive sometime this week! I asked why I wasn't notified and they have no idea - said I should have received an email. I checked spam, junk etc NO em ever received. You CANNOT count on them so there's no benefit - you're much better off shopping yourself. I asked for a supervisor and was told they have to email request and no one will call me until TOMORROW! This company is a colossal Failure!!

      I'm filing a complaint because I placed my orders on hold and never asked to be sent another box and then I received an email that they chose the meals and placed an order for me. I never requested this order nor do I want the meals that they're sending me. I contacted Hello Fresh and they told me that there was nothing that they can do based on their auto-renewal policy.
