I have been trying to remove & close my *** account since 9/27/23. I have done everything VALIC/Corebridge Financial has asked me to do yet everytime i call they give me the same reason for not sending out my money. You can never speak to anyone to find out. The new reason is that I have to tell them whether I want state tax withheld, yet I have told them on two other occasions what I wanted but its the same thing over & over. I purchased an extended warranty on my washer 3/24/2022. My certificate number is *********. Good through 3/23/2025 for a cost of ******. My washer quit on 11/30/2023. I've tried since then to get service, calling the service number on my contract ************. Each time I call, I've been on hold and have not been able to speak to a live person at this number. I've been on hold for a total of 117 minutes. I've called **** Amana, Whirlpool. I was told to call service number, which is a waste of time. All I want is my washer repaired. I put in for a full distribution on the 21st of November and have only gotten the run around about migrations and systems being offline. It is going on over 2 weeks and still the distribution hasn't been sorted. *** was also part of the MoveIt transfer data breach, where social security numbers and personal info was stolen. It is very difficult to get someone on the line to speak to you regarding your policy. I will never buy another policy from them ever again. They transfer you too many time, you get disconnected and most of the people do not know what they are talking about. They just give you the run around and you get no answers. My daughter and I went on a pilgrimage trip to Europe with my church group. We were scheduled to be in ****************** first, Fatima ******** second, & ******* ****** last. On our way to ********* *****, we encountered a problem with our plane, & had to make an emergency landing in **** *****. Because of this, we missed our connecting flight to ****** ********, leaving us to spend the night in ***** ***** (Paid by airport). We caught another flight the next day to ****** at 8pm, leaving us to miss a day of ******* The rest of the trip went fine. I have sent needed documents to *** three times with the same emails sent back to me about documents needed before decision is made. Getting the runaround, please help. Paid *** travelguard $1206.09 for travel policy #********* for $16,300 in trip coverage. I filed claim # U*********** for a non-refundable loss of $16,238 and submitted all requested documentation (some had to be submitted multilple times). I was paid $14,425.41 against my loss. I was told by the agent that even though I also paid more for refundable excursions and was repaid directly from the cruise agent for those, that my insurance was deemed to be inadequate for the total cost. As I explained and sent supporting documentation to the agent (*******************) I purchased the amount of coverage needed for the non-refundable portion of the trip. ****** stated several times that she totally agreed with me that I should be refunded for the balance by someone above her who I was not allowed to speak with, get a name or questions what was needed denied paying the balance. I was told the payment was prorated against the coverage shortage (which did not exist as explained above). Additionally, when i read the coverage policy there was no mention of that being a requreement or associated penalties. I asked ****** where that was documented in the policy and she said ***** could find it but that's what her supervisor apparently said. Given that #1 the coverage was sufficient for the total non-refundable portion and #2 even if it wasn't, theres no notice nor documentation of that requirement of assosiated penalty. I would like the documented and fully insured portion of my non-refundable portion paid as required by the travel insurance contract. The balance to be paid is $1,813 ($16,238 loss - $14425 payment).Customer Answer

Contacted this company regarding death benefits of my mother who was the beneficiary of the original annuity owned by her father. Have been trying to cash out this annuity since before my grandfather (*****************************) passed away. My mother has since passed away and now I am the executor of the will for ******************* (mother). I received a letter from *** American General Life Ins Company informing me that my life insurance premium has increased significantly. It instructs me to call the number in the letter before Nov 1 to cancel or the new premium will be withdrawn from my account. The number they supplied in the letter **************) does not work. I have been calling for four days between October 24 up until today October 27. I have called multiple times every day and the message says theyre having technical difficulties and to call back later. I found another number but was told they could not help me and transferred me right back to the number that does not work. Their failure to provide a working phone number will give them the ability to withdraw a premium from my account that I am trying to cancel. Please help!Business Response
