      *** has been misleading. They told me I was the beneficiary of my father's policy. so I go to the funeral home to make arrangements for my father. And the funeral home goes and checks with the insurance and they claim Im not the beneficiary so that leaves me signing papers where I am now financially responsible for getting my father, cremated or buried. This agent at the funeral home then got my Social Security number, and my information. I feel like this is a setup. I was blinded and set up for financing to bury my father. *** is very misleading.

      Unable to even get a local phone number or any number in **********. They deal out of *************** on line and for older people like myself, I cannot understand them and they cannot answer any questions.

      Would never recommend this company Since my husband turned 70 we keep getting late notices on our payments Went to paying online through the bank and I am still getting the runaround **************** is a major joke

      Horrible horrible customer service and **********************. They claim to help when trips go wrong and they do absolutely nothing. Also in particular my claim advisor Trinity ****** *********** **** (** License Number ******** has been especially incompetent and unresponsive to dozens of emails and contacts I have sent. American Express platinum is supposed to cover adverse weather trip interruptions and they have only tried to delay and reject the claim. Please avoid them and don't rely on any sort of customer service or help when it comes to claims. They are just trying to make money and have lazy and incompetent employees.

      Company does not honor their warranty. If you get a 3 year plan, they may cancel it whenever they decide they cannot fix it and will give you a fraction of the cost of the original product back. The desire to actually fhonor their warranty is filled with double speak and lies. "We don't have to fix the product under warranty, we only have to try." **************** is full of people who apologize and then say they won't do anything to resolve the issue.

      I have never had worse customer service. I have a 403b account with this **********************. I have been trying to perform a simple rollover for 7 months. The rollover keeps getting denied even though I, and my previous employer, have provided all documentation. They finally gave me my own money that I contributed to the account. Now they wont roll over the employer *********** that my previous employer has told them is 100% vested. I have waited over 30 minutes to speak to customer service several times. Im currently on the lineit has been 48 minutes. When I got an agent, she told me the rollover is ineligible because the money was a prepaid premium. I informed her that its a retirement account where ** fully vested and that my account is now empty. Naturally, I asked her where the money went if the rollover is ineligible. Hopefully Ill figure out what happened. Do yourself a favor and do not conduct business with this company.

      American General,AIG, core bridge or whatever else they're calling themselves. This life insurance company and it's staff are the most incompetent, incapable and down right rude individuals I have ever had to deal with EVER. My brother in-law passed away 11 months ago (from an accidental death) The funeral home we chose for his services handled all the arrangements and paper work for the insurance company. Every single week since he passed they have had one excuse after another. Thay need a notarized copy of this paper or that paper. (All sent 11 months ago by the funeral home) It's not as though its a lot of money barely enough to bury him. Maybe if it were possible to speak with the same person twice they could figure out what they were doing. (19 different so called agents) I would never recommend these people to anyone. It's difficult enough for our family to grieve and try to heal from our tremendous loss without the added stress from this company. The funeral bills have yet to be paid almost a year later. Absolutely no empathy or compassion!

      I have never submitted a review for anything in my life. But these people need to be investigated. This is unacceptable. The level of support and customer service in -0. The offer products like insurance for trips to offer peace of mind. They will promise many things and when something happens guess what? They reject your claim, they cant help you, and they keep bouncing you through all the customer service staff that will say the same thing over and over again until you grow tired. Somebody needs to do something about this. This is not right. They are straight up stealing from their customers, well I am not even sure we are customers to them.
