      Got a Dental renew letter stating "Coverage Period" is Nov 1 2024 to Oct 31 2025, yet that is not when the coverage period really is. It is Calendar Year, yet NOWHERE is that stated. So, they denied a claim made on Dec 31, 2024. Can't wait to cancel! Very deceptive.

      Similar to the other life insurance review seen below, not paying structured settlement beneficiaries in timely manner and negligient/incompetentwith documentation. If you see this, please report a claim to consumer financial protection bureau. The more consumers that do this, the higher chance they will be held accountable.

      Awful response and customer service. I have been trying to surrender a policy for over 3 weeks now and they continue to run me in circles. I cannot speak to a manager when needed. I am told "they will call you in 24-48 hours." I offered to stay on the line until they could connect me today, but the representative said they cannot do that. Emailing the request for surrender has been aggravating.

      My experience is regarding their pet insurance. Absolute terrible customer service. I sent a message using their messaging system about 3 weeks ago, including an additional follow up message, asking them why my monthly rate went up by 20% after 1 year despite but a very low utilizer and what the trend is for yearly increases. I have yet to hear back from them and am debating just cancelling my policy because I do not want to have to deal with them over the phone just to get my question answered.Though it was resolved, I also did have an unpleasant experience with one of my claims. Their claims reviewer said one of my claims was 'complex' and that they had to reject paying for labs due to my cat's preexisting condition. It was baffling because there was nothing complex at all about the claim. My cat simply had a routine visit with routine labs. Due to the reviewer's complete lack of competence, I had to spend my time calling them to have this resolved over the phone. I asked to speak to a manager and never heard from anyone.

      Barely covers anything. Im questioning why I even pay insurance when Im hit with $800 bills out of pocket IN NETWORK for an exam, X-rays, and a few fillings. My bottom teeth became unaligned after my wisdom teeth erupted but MetLife is saying they dont cover orthodontics for people over 19? So why am I (someone over 18) even paying for this? I understand dental work is not cheap however I shouldnt be paying several thousands of dollars for services when I carry insurance. (And Im using that term lightly)

      Fidelity Investments sold my retirement to ******* starting 2025. My payment should have been paid 1.02.2025. ******* set up my banking information incorrectly so it could not be posted on 1.02.2025, and leaves me with zero cash flow. I did confirm with Fidelity that they forwarded my correct banking information. ******* told me the payment would have to be rejected by my bank before they could reissue payment, which would take 3 days, which is unacceptable. This is total ********! Have you ever had a payroll department not make payroll on pay date or make you wait 3 DAYS because they screwed up? I requested a stop payment and reissue for today (1.2.2025). ******* informed me their procedure is to reissue upon banks rejection. This was *******'s fault as Fidelity has been sending in direct deposits for me for years. This illustrates a total INCOMPETENCE on *******'s part. This is the worse company I have ever dealt with. The retirement contract states to be paid on the 1st of each month and they FAILED my first payment. Now we know the *** hires are a total loss and waste of time. ALL investment companies should avoid sending retirement plans to ******* from other companies, as the record keeping is horrendous. I have reached out to 5 different people and none have been helpful. Are they not capable of issuing a stop payment? I can now understand all the lawsuits against *******, and the atrocious reviews. This should be a zero star review.

      (Metropolitan Life Insurance Company) ******** PA: the beneficiaries of my father's life insurance policy received notification on November 27th to file a claim for benefits. At least four of these beneficiaries submitted the required forms that same week. Since then I and other beneficiaries were told various dates of when the checks would processed. Each time we called the date would get extended again. We still have yet to receive anything other than another delay, date and another story by the representative at Metlife (Metropolitan Life Insurance Company) ******** PA.

      I would not recommend this company on my worst enemy. They simply do not work and are incompetent and lazy. Management does not care, so long as they have a body present. Your case manager WILL ignore your paperwork and all your phone call requests. They will falsify documentation in your chart. They claim the phone calls are all monitored and recorded. R lied on the phone, and then lied in my chart, as a manager. What a joke of a company. I can see why theyre not accredited. It would be a pretty sweet job, just clocking in and not working the rest of the day and collecting a paycheck.

      Signed up for Metlife's Pet Insurance with optional ***************** Coverage included. On their webpage they advertised that teeth cleanings were included in the coverage, so I bought the coverage in order to prevent any potential diseases from developing. After completing the routine cleaning for my cat, Metlife had denied the claim, saying that my cat had a preexisting condition and decided not to cover any amount of the claim. I had the pet dentist clarify that the cleaning was indeed routine, not a preexisting condition, and that Metlife had mischaracterized the reason for denial. Despite this, Metlife still choose to deny complete coverage of the claim. I'm writing because I believe Metlife has deceitful business practices and is defrauding the customer. If I could rate them as 0, I would.

      what happened to me
      I wished there was 0 star or negative number of stars.
      On August14/2024 I had a stroke. it is now 12/26. As soon as I was able to I filed a claim for a 10000 critical illness policy that i had with them, i sent about 100 pages of supporting documents including my doctors note with his signature and stamp and along with release of medical information signed to them.
      much later, about a month later when i call them they had put the whole thing on hold without notifying me, time for a laugh, they needed my Neurologist's signature on a form, had i not called them, I wouldn't know and they would void the claim, i guess that's what their intention was.
      I got the letter and some more document supporting that I had a stroke, it very much clearly says on there, I sent the said document via fax and via certified mail and haven/t yet heard anything.
      When i checked on line this morning seems as though they need more information or about to deny the claim, again I had stroke , I died and came back to life took me to hospital with an ambulance and the whole ball park , I am partially paralyzed on the right side of my body, in the meantime bills are coming from the ambulance about $1000 and many othe
