      what happened to me
      I wished there was 0 star or negative number of stars.
      On August14/2024 I had a stroke. it is now 12/26. As soon as I was able to I filed a claim for a 10000 critical illness policy that i had with them, i sent about 100 pages of supporting documents including my doctors note with his signature and stamp and along with release of medical information signed to them.
      much later, about a month later when i call them they had put the whole thing on hold without notifying me, time for a laugh, they needed my Neurologist's signature on a form, had i not called them, I wouldn't know and they would void the claim, i guess that's what their intention was.
      I got the letter and some more document supporting that I had a stroke, it very much clearly says on there, I sent the said document via fax and via certified mail and haven/t yet heard anything.
      When i checked on line this morning seems as though they need more information or about to deny the claim, again I had stroke , I died and came back to life took me to hospital with an ambulance and the whole ball park , I am partially paralyzed on the right side of my body, in the meantime bills are coming from the ambulance about $1000 and many othe

      Had a denied **** claim over the dated times. Even though it stated on the form there was " no end date". I refilled a new claim and it wont show up on the website. My 81 year old father needs my help and I feel helpless now. Run around from customer service is criminal to say the least. Right in time for the holidays also. Thanks for that.

      They denied me a discount on pet insurance having multiple policies my household My partner/significant other of over a decade. Same household address.Met the Deductible for dog 500 and cat 250. Went over a few dollars dog got nothing. Spent ***** on cat operation. Constant we are missing records. They are Not missing anything!! The Banfield was shown the 1st and 2nd missing information messages the vet sent the information directly to their email. Soap notes, vet notes, itemized bill etc. I've done this a lot this year 2024. Their site makes you submit multiple claims for uploads because normally only acceptd 3- 4 pages if lucky on the the 4th for records so to send everything it takes 3-5 ********* for my cat the got the full year of records requested. And they still are doing the 3 D's delay defer, and deny games...just like ************* and *********'s oblivious I'm now victim of typical tactics. Their is a reason they are not BBB members, with no ********* partner is handled well with Dental and vision MetLife. But this isn't the same ****************** is common for Pet Insurance to pull this stuff. I had a different cat and similar problem paying up when run over and cancelling and refund. Or long waits for reimbursement.Banfield in ********/Redmond Washington sent all the records and they are authorized share. They keep a log of records sent.I believe I am entitled to 80 to 90 percent the bill paid. So far this process has been delayed three times wrongly..

      I was diagnosed with invasive ductal carcinoma in October 24. I immediately filed claim for both short term disability and critical illness. Since this process has begun I have been immensely stressed. I have two small children and we all know life and bills do not stop. My short term disability has been approved however there has been a huge disc***ancy in regards to never getting the money on the date it says or missing payments. For example website, app, and customer service **** all have different info. ***** case manager never calls back. Critical illness I was told approved on the 13th and payment 16th of November no payment. Every *** since has told me the same. On the 29th was told I needed a premium auth form reached out to my HR both on the line and informed it had been submitted. Then the *** says oh I see it will take another ten days to review a form. I sent in a form to my student loans for cancer and it was reviewed and approved the same day. This company is in the business of false advertisement (look up online how long a critical illness claim takes 10 days and says it simple) ?? they are in the business of taking your money but not holding up there end of the bargain. I am looking to file a grievance and get a lawyer to assist. Never go to this company. I have cancer and this is how they operate as a business. Insurance companies need to be looked into along with employee/company bonuses.

      I filed a claim for my pet and they came up with every reason not to pay. In the end, they decided I had not submitted my claim within the 90 day time frame - no exceptions. What a joke! Keep your money!

      This company is a joke. I signed up for a an individual legal plan about three weeks ago. I can't get logged in to my account, and when I call, they redirect me to a link that doesn't work. It tells me they don't have my name in their database but then send me to this link that won't work or they tell me they don't handle that and give me another phone number to call. They're charging me $14.00 a month for the privilege of not being able to log in to my account. They're a horrible company.

      This company needs Government regulation. I have a Total Control Account with them and for three months I could not get an account statement online. They sent absolutely no notifications, either by mail or email, to inform customers of apparent changes they have made. I had to waste several hours trying to update my account and trying to talk to a real person. I believe they are violating consumer laws by not providing information on a person's account. Worst customer service I have seen. Do not do business with this company.

      Horrible experience!! Soo difficult to reach a person...had to give information 3x only to get hung up on then do again!!! And what used to be a simple procedure to borrow money is BEYOND IMPOSSIBLE INTENTIONALLY!!! And if you call the complaint line HAHAHA WHAT A JOKE!! It asks you what type of policy and CONVIENTLY doesn't HEAR YOU! But if you call back and say anything other than life insurance, isn't it amazing how you get right through! I've been with the company over 30 years and never experienced such frustration and lack of help. If it were any other type of policy, I would change it TODAY

      This company has the worst customer service and you can never get anyone on the phone.They agents mock the customers on the phone and I pay a high price despite of being signed up through the ********* club.

      They have pitiful help for seniors who are not computer literate. You keep getting transferred to someone else and disconnected in the process. I have been on the phone for 4 hours so far today trying to get information to pay my bill that is never sent snail mail.
