      This company is absolutely horrible! Their online portal never works, it has always been a pain to get in. Talking to customer service is horrible. I would avoid this place at all cost.

      I had voya accidental insurance through my employer I have been going back and fourth with them since October for an injury that I received. I send them the paperwork that they tell me that they need only for them to tell me it wasnt the correct paperwork. Now they are telling me that my injury was not due to an accident

      Terrible business! Run!! I suffer from a illness and was off 32 days and filed my hardship withdrawal from my 401 three different times it got kicked back then I mailed all paperwork and EOB they lost it!! The guy on phone says they received my envelope that I priority mailed with all the documents and they lost the documents!!! When you are sick and off with out any sort of pay they make it much more difficult for you! Worst company I've ever dealt with in my 49 years of life!

      Do not believe 5 to 7 days....you will never get your money. There are lawyers attached to their name for suing them. They had to pay millions in fines and settlements. They lose your mail after closing your account and when you finally get your check it is fake. Ponzi scheme. Your employer and voya should be taken to court. Do not wait. Hire an attorney to get your money.

      I made a withdrawal from my account and was told 1 to three business days to deposit into my bank account. It ahs been three days, I called and they are now saying 3 to 5 more days. This is bs. My account ahs been lowerd by my withdrawal, so I am not collectiong interest on that amoung, BUT they still have my money!!!!!!!!! We are in the age of electronic transfers...IT DOES NOT TAKE 5 TO 7 DAYS. very disappointed.

      I has a 401k through a previous employer. I left in August 2023, I kept getting letter to pay off a portion of the loan amount. I payed the first payment and was told since I notified them that they would freeze payments and unless I withdrew or transferred the loan would be inactive and I would have to pay that amount in full before transferring. The bills kept coming. I called back confused as it was supposed to be frozen and was told to disregard as these were probably automated letters. I just received a default letter on this loan and told I would receive a 1099 for the loan amount. I will never have Voya manage my money again.

      My mother had an account that was absorbed by **** and **** mishandled her account. She worked for an employer and contributed to a retirement fund. Voya purchased/merged with her orginal financial company. Voya linked her account with the wrong employer. They gave us contact information for her to have her employer release her funds, but unfortunately was the incorrect employer. The employer that they told us to contact had even told her that they had the incorrect information. My mother and I both tried to get them to understand that they had the incorrect information, we even tried to give them a copy of her last 2 pay stubs but they would not accept it. When we finally got them to understand that it was in their error, they threw their hands up and turned it over to the local representative to take care of it. After months of calls and time lost forever, she finally was able to close the account. It amazed me that a financial institution cant do their due diligence to make sure that accounts handled correctly. I will never invest with this company and recommend almost any other company to invest. Most of the agents tried to be helpful but one individual was so dismissive, it was outrageous. How would they like their mother or father have to go through this ordeal to get their own money out.

      DO NOT! I REPEAT ... DO NOT USE VOYA FOR ANY FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT! This has been one of the worst experiences, and I do no say this lightly, I would much rather work with the US Government than VOYA. Really pay attention to that, the government which makes you jump through infinite hoop after hoop to get things done, and I would rather work with them than ****. VOYA **************** is a joke. VOYA Document processing is a joke. VOYA Communication within and outside of the company is a joke. VOYA Process implementation is a joke. VOYA is a joke. This company really needs to be audited and or shut down based on the way they treat people that were FORCED to use their system. It shouldn't take hours on hours of phone calls, emails, correspondence just to get MY money. If there was a way to put negative stars I would.

      They are awful. I do not recommend them to anyone. They do everything they can to prevent you from moving YOUR 401k retirement money out into a rollover *** or ***************. I tried to create a Voya *** online and completed the entire process, which took over an hour and a half. Got an email that the Voya *** was being reviewed. Called a week later, and was told they are still reviewing. I finally (weeks later) got a call saying they can't open up my Voya ***. Then was told that someone would call me to discuss my options. Then get an advisor that calls me, and tells me that it is their policy that you must first meet with a person over the phone to discuss your account policy and restrictions. I had to set up another 30 minutes to go over my account policy. All they are doing is trying to keep assets by making is extremely difficult to move YOUR 401k assets. All that means is that they put as much friction into the "outflow" of funds as possible. The people on the phones were nice, the issue is the corporate policies are completely unhelpful to the customer. I would stay away from this company. There are so many other options out there. And I'm not the only one. Go look online for the real reviews of Voya, and you will see they are all around a 1 out of 5. Buyer beware.
