I received a mailing from Nielsen Ratings Media Study in June with 2- $1.00 bills and a promise for $5.00 more if I completed and mailed in the survey by July 6. I completed & mailed in the survey in June. On July 26 I received another request (with no money sent as promised) to complete another survey for $10.00. The letter is signed by *******************************, ********** Officer. I am requesting my $5.00 as promised which I did not receive or cash. Wonder why your BBB rating is 1.31 out of 5???!!!Business Response

I completed a media survey for Nielsen where they sent me cash in the mail for my response. I then received a request to fill out a radio station diary and $10 would be mailed to me. I filled out the diary and returned it. I have received a check for $10 but am concerned about depositing it as the address on the check does not match Nielsens website. I received a request in the mail to fill out radio listening surveys for a particular week. I would be paid $10 per family member that completed the survey. We sent in 3 completed surveys and received a check for $30. I deposited the check and it bounced. My bank charged me a $12 fee. So not only do I not have the $30, I'm out another $12. I have called Nielsen 3 times. I was told to send an email with the details, which I did on 5/30/23. I sent a second email through their website. When I called back, I was told they were working on the email. When I called today, 6/16/23, I was told that they would look into it.Business Response

I participated last Nielsen survey. For everyone in the household. My sister lives at same address. Took the survey for radio stations. Im guessing.About 3-4 months ago. I mailed it back immediately. After that a lot of phone calls if I mailed it. Supposed to receive $10 each. (2) =$20. I personally have done several surveys *************. Just want it solved. I enjoy the surveys. Earlier this year I filled out a Mail-in survey stating that if I filled it out and sent it in I would receive a 40 dollar check. It has been about 4 or 5 months and the check has not arrived. I would very much like to get compensated for filling out the survey because I would normally not do it unless I was being paid. Approximately May 1, 2023 I received a phone call offering to compensate me for completing a survey (which I did over the phone). 1 week later I received an email with another survey and I completed it on line. I was compensated (as promised) for both surveys.Beginning May 15, 2023 I was inundated phone calls (average 5-6/day) from telemarketers and that trend has continued daily. I suspect it is more than a mere coincidence that the phone calls started within a few days of completing these surveys. In my opinion, whatever assurances you gave that my personal information would not be shared have been violated.I am formally requesting that this company remove all my information from their databases and that (if it exists) I be placed on a 'no call/do not contact' list.Business Response
