Company is a complete scam. They inflate astrononomical absurd charges with no notice prior I purposely stayed in net work to have meds assessed as asked to do by my primary doctor to receive two $400 bills for 245 minute services with a useless psychiatrist who at the end of the second session said she is not the right fit for me and will send recommendations for further choices. *** sent emails and have been in contact with their customer service who will not elevate the calls regarding the fake inflated hundreds of dollars of fees for using their services to have them removed. I have sent appeals to my insurance company regarding their scam of a company. They will not help you no matter how many phone calls or emails you get or properly answer you on all the fake inflated fees that they charge on top of their appointments which I see from so many reviews wind up being unmatched to the customer after sessions are completed and charged. Run report these people it should be shut down. It is a horrible business where they take advantage of people in need of mental health assistance that should be covered by normal insurance standers as its always been in the past and they continue to scam and send a bill after bill of ridiculous charges and will not answer to any of them. Biggest scam Ive ever encountered in the medical arena ever. Georgia should be in jail, and the company should be blasted and pay back everybody who has been scammed. Run! What horrible human beings these people prove to be just floored.Talkiatry

******, there are a lot of factors that can impact the cost. The best way to find out how much your care might cost is to contact your insurer and ask about your plans coverage for outpatient mental health treatment. Do not, I repeat, DO NOT use this company. The customer service, lack of response, lack of compassion, knowledge or care about their patients is mind blowing. My daughter had an urgent medical emergency due to a reaction from meds that caused seratonin syndrome which if severe could be fatal. Took my daughter to the *** ** doctors aren't familiar with as a psychiatrist would be. ** doctor told me to contact the psychiatrist and get some guidance and go from there b/c all else with my daughter was stable. I called 1st thing Friday morning explaining the urgency, no call back. Called again Saturday morning. Was told it was early in the morning, it is marked high priority again and would get a call back from the team or the clinician. They were about to close and no call. I called again. Was told clinician only works week days and they can't help me. Needless to say, I lost it. I told them to find me a doctor, any doctor on staff and have them speak to me as this is an urgent matter. They put me on hold and said they reached out to everyone and unfortunately there is nothing they can do. Told them if anything happens to my daughter I will *** for medical malpractice. If you are having an emergency and you go to the ** like they tell you, they don't care if you live or die. They just go about their weekend. This company will only take your money and have no regard for helping people or human life. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. I will never trust a Dr. the same thanks to them. You have to be your own advocate or in this case your childs. My child literally couldn't function or keep eyes open. It is Monday and received an email from Dr. saying I told you I only work 3 days a week but how is she?!?! REALLY?! DO BETT**.....Doctors should help people and build trust, not the opposite. Can't say it enough..they may treat you, but if there is an emergency, you are on your own. Get a Dr. you can trust as it won't be with this company!Talkiatry

I only gave 1 star. because you cant submit 0 stars. I wish I had read these reviews first because as many have stated this company has 0 ethical or moral standards when it comes to billing and patient care. This is EVIDENT as the same issues of s******* patients over continues to this day years later after similar complaints. I started with Talkiatry while I had full insurance through United Healthcare. I was let go just before Christmas and my insurance terminated a few days later on 1/1. I cancelled my upcoming appts and was told I could reschedule them when I had my new insurance. I received unemployment and medical assistance through Keystone First. I called Talkiatry to see if my new insurance was covered and explained the insurance would be effective 2/1 and I'd have a card a week later. I was told YES I WAS COVERED and that I would need to submit my card to them when I got it. Great, set my appointments back up.A few weeks later, after attending a few appointments I submitted my card and was promptly told I was NOT COVERED. A week later I got a notice from United Healthcare because their billing ***** KNOWING I NO LONGER HAD THAT INSURANCE, had tried to bill them for services with they obviously declined and said the patient would be responsible. Seems fraudulent to me. So I tried emailing their support and got nowhere. Then I called and spent almost an hour repeating myself in circles to someone who could barely repeat what I just said, back to me in English. Another ticket was followed, along with multiple please from me to do whats right as I cannot afford a $270 bill for a **************************************************** $25. Im out of work and this company is trying to ROB me since they can't bill my old insurance for they're mistake. They are the ones culpable, if they know what that even means.DO NOT USE TALKIATRY. Use Talkspace or someone reputable as this companies reputation is clearly trash.Talkiatry

They need to be shut down. They are a joke and are causing people who need help to be even worse. The customer service people who are in another country find suicide funny and laughed when told this is why theirs people commenting suicide because they cant get help even though theyve tried and tried to get a appointment. They charge you for appointments they cancel even though you get messages saying you have a appointment then they cancel it 2 min after the apt but wont let you join or call the dr for the appointment. When you call the number to Dr ****** you get a call center in another country ive have get to speak to anyone in ******* or that knows whats going on. They are also going against insurance regulations and should be held responsible. You cant own a business in the healthcare field and be able to do what their doing its a joke to the medical community.Talkiatry

Horrible company! They use illegal billing practices to overcharge patients and then send collection agencies after them. I even saw on social media they laid off over 100+ employees with no notice plus the other negative reviews from patients and other employees(including the Doctors)! I would not use their services, they do not deserve to be in business!Talkiatry

Claim to accept insurance yet they code their bills in such a way that results in the consumer spending $900 out of pocket for one, 50 minute virtual appointment and one blood test that was ordered. I am disputing the second bill I received and was told I would get a call from someone in billing within 48 hours, 3 days ago. This company lies one after the next. I never received a call or an email reply. This company is preying on those in need of mental health services. Their annual net profit is over $10M. Keep that in mind when choosing to use this service.Talkiatry

Hi, ****. We've partnered with major insurers to make psychiatry more accessible, but a patient's final cost depends on their coverage. The best way to find out how much your care might cost is to contact your insurer and ask about your plans coverage for outpatient mental health treatment. I would give 0 star if I could. Had one appointment with a psychiatrist who questioned me for 55 minutes only to tell me that she cant proceed with treatment until I agree to take a drug test every month, simply because I smoke weed socially/ on occasion. She refused to treat me and wasted an hour of my time. The WORST part and the reason Im writing this review is because after the initial appointment I received a bill for $359! I had already submitted my insurance when I took the appointment and then called to resubmit it again. No response back other than an email saying my ticket was closed. I did this entire cycle again in the month of February. Now its March and I got another bill in the mail, I call and they tell me that I had a deductible for my insurance. Mind you I have already found another psychiatrist through skypiatry and am being billed my $25 copay per my insurance. CLEARLY they are coding the visits incorrectly and have no idea what theyre doing. Im on hold with an agent now and am refusing to hang up, since they said I could call back at the next billing cycle once I get another bill. They have escalated my ticket to the billing department and I guess I will see in a few days if the issue is resolved. Youve been warned!Talkiatry

This company is a nightmare. Do not trust them or even bother with them. This company will 100% give you mental health problemsas if you didnt already have them. Took forever to get an actual appointment as they kept cancelling and rescheduling . They checked my insurance and stated they were in network then sent me the entire bill calls get dropped when trying to talk to customer service about bill and emails go unanswered until I threatened to report the to the BBB. This website is a SCAMbe warned!Talkiatry
