    On February 5, 2025 I received a notification on my phone that I had a sale on the Depop app. The notification was from Depop. I tapped to open the app and discovered I had been logged out. I am unable to log into my account on both the phone app and my desktop. I reached out to Depop customer service on both the website and through their ******** page. I am getting the run around from this company. First they say they are going to send me a link - which they never did. Then they ask for a screenshot of my phone's number on the phone for verification. I sent that and they abruptly said they are unable to help me. I have $17 sitting on the app from another recent sale and I am out the money and the product because it was already sent out. They are not getting back with me now. I want access to my account so that I can withdraw my money out, take down all my listings, and close my account.

    My account was suspended due to my son using my account, trying to get someone to pay off of the platform.I made a sale before that and now I can't ship the previous sale out.please unsuspend my account as a one time courtesy so I can ship one of my buyer's items out please? I also don't appreciate y'all wrongfully labeling some of my items as fake when i have receipts proving ***************: **********************

    Depop launched an aggressive enforcement of their listing policies and removed a few of my items due to their loose interpretation of them. Some of these I didn't challenge because it wasn't worth the time to do the back and forth with people who have poor reading comprehension. They often got it wrong, with an example of removing a stoneware serving platter under their electronics policy. I finally got my account deactivated. Since Depop doesn't hold buyers to commit to offers, and the sales were far lagging other platforms, I didn't really care. However, they will not pay me and insist I send my social security number over unsecure email. They refuse to offer a secure means to do so. I have tried to find a secure file exchange, but the ones I used before are defunct. They were paying me before, but they insist they need my information again to pay me the final amount. Since I cannot see my account and how much was in there, I don't even trust that they would pay what I'm owed. I have filed a ************************ report as well. I just want my payout. I don't care if you mail me a check since I can go to the bank and show my ID there to cash it. You are required by law to pay what you owe. The internet provides many examples of this issue. I will not submit my SSN over email.

    Depop closed my account and stopped my business for infractions I did not do. I have reached out to them and they have not let me provide the supporting documents showing my items are authentic. They said I was selling electronics when it was a lamp and lamps are allowed on depop they said my cheese and butter spreader was a weapon which it is not and currently on depop there are lots of kitchen knives. It is not right to close down someones business I had over 200 listing which takes a long time to get them on there and to be closed for reasons rules I did not break and depop not allow me to prove my items are real- this is wrong

    Dear BBB,I am writing to report an issue Ive encountered with the Depop app, which is an online platform for selling clothing. I had been using Depop for some time, building a trustworthy reputation with many positive reviews. However, one day I woke up to find that my account had disappeared. I immediately checked my email, but I received no notifications or explanations about the situation.When I tried to log into my account, I was unsuccessful. I reached out to Depop via email on January 14, hoping to resolve the issue, but have not received any response until January 17 and they said itll take a week tops, its not over that and some days and Im worried. Before my account disappeared, I had already shipped several items that were sold, and now there is money sitting in my account that I cannot access.I would appreciate any assistance in helping me either regain access to my account or retrieve the funds that are currently being held by Depop.Thank you for your help.Sincerely, ***** *****

    I was a scammed by a seller and they left me negative feedback that was very abusive and very revengeful. They were very rude from the start and have not solved my issue and left me very bad feedback that does not describe the transaction.

    Hi,I started to sell on Depops platform and made around 30 sales on the platform and got around $390 in sales. When attempting to verify my account on the platform in order to take out the money I made in sales, it would not let me as it needed a SSN or ISIN to confirm identity. I could not complete this because Im a Canadian whos temporarily living in the ************* and therefore does not have a SSN or ISIN. I told them I could verify with Canadian documents such as drivers licence or passport. When contacting them about this they did a reset on my account. When doing this, all my orders which had been shipped out to the buyers, had been refunded, and all the money in my account from sales was refunded back to buyers even though the items were all shipped, and I have all the tracking numbers as proof and can provide several as evidence. All I want, is for the money from my sales, to be in my account, as I have correctly sold the items and shipped them out to the buyers. They have unjustly given refunds to the buyers and this needs to be corrected. In addition, I would like them to help me verify my identity to my account, so I can take the money out.

    My daughter sold her authentic items on this platform only because scammed out of her money by the Depop not issuing her funds after the company asked that i furnish receipts of items. This is unacceptable my daughter is a recent graduate and was trying to get a little extra funds.

    Ive sold 30+ items on Depop and they suspended my account for absolutely NO reason. I had a few people on the app who lied about them not receiving their items so they can get their money back when I had PROOF of shipping, postage, and receipt! I had proof of everything. Sellers always have this issue when Buyers always would try to say they didnt recieve their package so they can get their money back AND keep the package. Thats ridiculous and UNFAIR! So, they would email me and tell me to provide proof of shipping for the buyer and i did that, so then they would take WEEKS to email back and say to send proof of my ID, just making every excuse to not give me my payout money that I made. So, I would send them photos of my id and they wont respond. I send them proof of everything they ask for and then they stop responding. This is happening to so many sellers, their customer service is terrible! They have no customer service. They have automated BOTS. They have no number to call! Its UNFAIR. I need my payout money from them Ive made over ***** and they HAVE YET to send me anything! *** sold on there since December 31st,2024 and got not one cent out my payout!! Please take this seriously and help me. This is happening to so much of us sellers its so unfair.

    Depop is a social media-based marketplace that allows users to buy and sell secondhand clothing, accessories, and other fashion items. It's a peer-to-peer platform. I placed high end items for resell on this site. 2 of the items were resold for $200 total. I received shipping labels from Depop once they sold and sent those items out on 1/23/25. I then received an email from Depop informing me that I could link my bank account to my ********************** account to get paid directly for my items. When I attempted to login to set this up, my account was suspended. Now I no longer have my items and I do not have the monies I am owed. This is a scam and is happening frequently--easily search on Reddit. This site should be shut down. I will furnish emails on request.
