    i have sold a wallet and dress on depop. i havent paid for either sale. i sold the wallet early december and the dress sold this past week.

    On 12/17/23, I purchased what I thought was an authentic Dyson Airwrap from a seller on Depop. After purchasing the item for $272.19, the seller then deleted the listing which I thought was extremely suspicious. After becoming suspicious, I looked into this further and reverse ****** image searched the picture that was used for the listing. I then found that the picture used was being used on over 100 different sites across the internet. Which ultimately means, this seller is a scam artist that will most likely never send me the item or will send me a fake replica of the item as they are everywhere on the market. The seller even entered an already used or fake tracking number onto Depop so it marked as "delivered." I've tried contacting Depop. Emailing them frantically and even writing to them on ******* as they do not have a direct phone number. I even also filed a claim with **************** but I am worried this will not be resolved in a timely manner. I live paycheck to paycheck and $272.19 is a lot of money for me. I have seen people fall victim to these Depop scams and I thought I could trust this seller. I want my money back ASAP. This is really upsetting for me as this is a lot of money to lose.Please help me!

    Depop has a habit of protecting scammers and stealing from users. Made an account to sell some old clothes and was suspended for trying to add a 2fa to protect my information after a scammer tried to steal my info. Depop decided the best way to handle this was to suspend my account. No warning emails no anything. Tried emailing them multiple times, no response. Messaged them on ******** only response was that they couldn't help me on ******** Disappointed with this company

    Account Deactivation, Unresolved Dispute, and Withheld Funds I recently purchased a cream floor-length silk dress from @sheershell in November 2023. Despite the listing explicitly stating the item had no damage, upon receipt, it was evident that the dress had multiple flaws, including coffee stains, loose threads, and missing beads. I initiated a credit card dispute to rectify this discrepancy. Following your request for images of the damage, I complied in good faith, aiming to resolve the matter internally as suggested by your teams message dont worry we are there to step in and get things resolved. However, to my disappointment, instead of engaging in a constructive resolution, my account was abruptly deactivated without explanation or opportunity for further discourse. This unilateral action has impeded any chance of addressing the issue directly through your platform, contrary to the assurances extended initially.Additionally, my repeated attempts on 12/07, 12/04, 11/30, and 11/28 to communicate with your team regarding the transfer of my earned seller balance to my designated bank account have gone unanswered, resulting in the withholding of funds rightfully owed to **** request the reinstatement of my account and the immediate transfer of the outstanding seller balance to my designated bank account. Failure to rectify this matter promptly will necessitate seeking legal recourse to safeguard my rights as a participant on your platform. Please acknowledge receipt of this communication and take immediate action to reinstate my account and transfer the owed funds.

    I obtained a selling account through ********************** to resale items out of my personal closet. I recently made a purchase through that same account & had an issue with my purchase not being shipped. I messaged the seller on multiple occasion requesting she refund me to which she ignored. They later deleted/ permanently suspended my account on the grounds of harassment. approximately a week prior I had sold to items of my own out of my depop closet. I had a balance from those sales of over $120 dollars which they are now refusing to disperse to me, even after reaching out and emailing their customer service in multiple occasions to no avail. I am hoping to somehow be helped with this matter as well as make others aware of the dangers of selling in their site.

    My username is mlzfamily221. I placed an order november 30th for a purse totaling $300 from eleanorakreiservip seller. They shipped via a third party ******* and it said it was delivered sunday the 1st. No package was delivered, I checked everywhere in my building. I called ***** to double check with the tracking number provided and they said that my address was not the delivery address for the tracking number I was given. I contacted the seller and they have ghosted me entirely. I was scammed by a fradulent seller, have not received my item and have lost $300. Since this is considered mail fraud I am in the process of filing a police report. I have contacted depop twice for help and havent received anything. Refund me asap and ban this seller

    Two different orders from Depop were never shipped, despite contacting the sellers several times. There has been no response from Depop. I paid for these items (including shipping) and not only never received them, the sellers never shipped them. I want a full refund asap. Its ridiculous how difficult it has been to resolve this.

    I purchased a product on October 24th, 2023 as a gift for my brother. The website said it can take up to 7 days for the item to ship out. I checked back a month later after speaking to my brother who said he never received anything. The seller had scammed me, and after contacting support, was told there was nothing they could do since it was beyond 30 days from the date of purchase. The scammer still has an active profile on the website.

    On October 30,2023 I sold a somewhat rare and highly sought after item using depop. Proceeding by their shipping guidelines, I use the shipping label code provided to me by depop and shipping the package via ***** The item became lost in transit and I reached out to depop for assistance as the **** site was having technical issues, and I also assumed that as a seller, Depop would be able to assist and protect me. I was wrong. Depop immediately took the money I made from the purchase out of my bank account without my permission, and then proceeded to not respond to two of my emails requesting help. How, as a seller on a platform, am I now both out my item and my money? As a seller I should be better protected, and they should at least have better customer support in instances if there is really nothing they can do to assist. What is the point of selling an item on a platform like this if I can essentially get scammed out of my item and money? I would ultimately like depop to refund my money as they should be responsible for shipping since I used THEIR shipping label and guideline

    Hi there, I used to be a seller on the social e-commerce platform Depop with the username @wickedbunniez. However, they just suspended my account due to me breaking one of their policies by selling an item outside of their app. I am submitting this complaint because things were shipped out and they have not paid me for them. They haven't responded to me on the precise amount they owe me, and I am unable to access my account at all to find out. Although I am aware that I went against their policies, they do not have the authority to retain the money for goods that I have already shipped to customers.
