    On February 10, 2025, I purchased a purse that was advertised as an authentic ************* crossbody from the Depop app, from a seller named *****. ***** assured me that the purse was indeed authentic via conversations through the Depop messaging system. The amount with shipping was a total of $399.20. I received the purse on February 14th and immediately identified that it was a counterfeit. I reported the seller to Depop the day I received the purse and provided multiple pictures of the purse and plastic shipping bag that it was packaged in. Depop emailed me saying that the claim could take up to 7 business days to resolve. Since then, the last I heard from them was February 18 assuring me that my case would be transferred to the specialist team. After not hearing from Depop in the 7 business day window, I followed up multiple times. It has been nearly a month and Depop has not responded or provided a resolution/refund for this purchase.

    Date of transaction : March 5, 2025 The amount: ******USD The seller is promised to send a aritzia slouch coat with barely worn condition The nature of dispute: I received the item in ******* slouch coat today however, the condition is not as described. I was assured by seller the coat is barely worn and in the posting, there is no disclosure of the following items:There are heavily usage in the coat that the bottom coat started to have a lot of dusts inside 2.Some diets/darks on the surface of the coat Overall the coat is defiantly only in fair condition. Due to the condition, I kindly request a return. Please approve this. The seller NEVER tried to solve the problem but just find unreasonable ways to refuse the return.

    I am filing a formal complaint against Depop for unjustly restricting my account, withholding my funds, and continuing unauthorized charges despite my compliance. I was a 5/5-star seller with outstanding reviews, selling clothing from my personal closet, then into a clothing resale business . Depop suddenly restricted my account and withheld my earnings over an authentication dispute regarding a small Chanel coin walletwithout proving it was unauthentic. They demanded authentication, and I complied with every request: I provided all required photos, offered to authenticate the item anywhere they suggested, and every time I complied, they moved the goalpost with new demands. They refused to be upfront about what was needed, prolonging the process and causing unnecessary stress. After researching, I found many reputable sellers faced similar unfair restrictions with no resolution. Depop has been charging me a monthly fee for their listing refresh service after I asked for cancellation. Instead of stopping the charges, they demanded proof. I sent bank statement screenshots showing the deductions, but they then required a screen recording from inside the app, even though they locked me out. Despite explaining I couldnt log in, they kept charging me. Depops lack of transparency, unreasonable demands, and refusal to stop unauthorized charges are clear unfair business practices. Issues:Recurring charges for a service I cant access.Constantly changing authentication demands to avoid ************* real customer support no phone number, no direct assistance.Unfair treatment of reputable sellers. Resolution Requested: Accountability for Depops failure to provide proper support. This has caused financial loss and emotional distress, and many sellers have reported identical experiences. Depop must be investigated for these unfair business practices. Please contact me for more information. I have saved all emails.

    Depop stated they will refund me for a fraudulent purchase, but have not responded to any follow up inquiries about it.

    Depop is allowing users to to sell counterfeit items and puts the entire burden on the buyers. They do not do any authentication and they allow the sale of fake merchandise. I reached out to them told them about the issue and let them know I could not make the return window because I won't be home for another month due to work. They refuse to refund for fake items

    -sold 2 products on Depop January 31st, and February 6th -1 product was $114.75, with me receiving $101.09, and the next for $136.67, receiving $120.04 -Shortly after the sale account got removed with false accusations of fraudulent activity, after some false warnings. February 7th -February 7th, I attempted to appeal, which got denied -Starting February 7th, I was emailing them discussing my funds, which they told me I would receive after I sent them my personal information, like SSN, the Front and Back of my ID, and bank information.-After sending this information on February 8th, they have not responded or put any effort into getting back with me and giving updates.-I sent 3 emails February 8th, 10th, and 11th with no response.-An automated message got sent to me which was no use.Have more proof if needed

    I had an item for sale on my account and I shipped it out to that person their username is *************** after they received there item they have decided to lie on me to get their money back when they have gotten their product . I have 568$ on my depop balance I cant access because they suspended my account .I want it sent to my bank because this is extremely unfair . I have things I need to handle I have kids and I also have responsibilities that cost money so I would like for my money to be transferred from my depop account to the account I attached onto my depop . Thank you

    I am experiencing an issue with a lost package that was shipped through **** and sold via Depop. Despite multiple attempts to resolve the matter with both parties, I have not been able to receive a refund or compensation for the lost item.Since the item was shipped via ****. After contacting ****, I received the following response, "The ************** is aware of the frustration and disappointment caused when we do not live up to our commitment of safe and reliable mail service. I tried calling you multiple times and your phone is off. I wanted to inform you that the carrier has searched for your package and he has not been able to locate the package. The package most likely got stolen. I would suggest you reach out to the sender and have them file a claim on our website. Have the sender resend you the package or refund you."Meaning **** admitted that they lost the package and apologized for the inconvenience. They further explained that only the sender can file a claim, directing me to contact the sender and ask the sender to file a complaint, and the sender would be the one to receive the refund.I also contacted Depops customer service regarding the lost item, and this was their response, I hope you're having a wonderful day! We truly appreciate your understanding regarding this situation. Since the tracking indicates that the item was delivered to the right address and in a secure spot, were unable to process a refund for this transaction. However, youre welcome to file a claim with ****! Once you receive their final decision, feel free to share a copy with us, and well see what we can do to assist you further. Please don't hesitate to contact us again if you get stuck with anything. Take care!Depop is refusing to issue a refund, stating that since the package shows as delivered, they cannot process a refund. However, I have already followed ***** guidance.

    Hello, I would greatly appreciate if someone could help me out with this!!! Last March, Depop banned me for filing a total of 3 disputes with my bank after I had not heard back from the sellers and Depop customer service regarding the missing and damaged items. I have been a loyal seller and buyer from them for almost 10 years. They claimed I was unsafe to the community. However they never did anything about the sellers scamming me. There have been three instances that occurred when I opened a claim with Depop. The first time, the seller never even sent my shirt and wouldnt respond to me. The second time, I purchased a coach purse and the strap broke soon after I received it and it was clearly stapled together (which I was told it was in perfect condition). The third time is what Depop decided to suspended for, which is not receiving a top. Im not sure what they wanted me to do when they were not respond and/or refused to refund me. They refused to listen to me. I believe this is completely unfair because my account should not be the one getting banned when I was the one getting scammed and I have also never scammed anyone since Ive been apart of Depop. Them saying our users come to depop looking for a safe, trustworthy place. How am I being unsafe or untrustworthy to anyone??? I am the one that got screwed over.

    I purchased a pair of jeans from Depop and the seller sent the wrong jeans. I have asked the seller to send me a return mailing label so I can return the jeans multiple times and he has not. Depop has closed my Depop account because I have not returned the jeans. I do not want to pay for the sellers mistake. Please let Depop know they need to reopen my account. I also need a prepaid return mailing label.
