    If I could give zero stars I would. The only way to get an account with them is to provide a phone number. I provided my phone number downloaded the app. I then spend quality time filling my closet up and like items only for them to tell me that I need to reset my password! Well it is impossible to reset your password! Every single password I give they tell me it's under breach this has been happening for years! I've contacted them and told them to fix whatever they need to fix and it still has been going on. I then redownload the app and I have to give a new phone number because it says that I already have an account when I try to put in my old phone number. I give then my husband's phone number it happens again. May I give them my mom's phone number and it happens again. I am now out of phone numbers! They now have three of my phone numbers and I still cannot get an account because of their messed up at and reset of a password password issue!

    I bought a pair of Air Jordans (Chicago Lost and Found) for about $120 in this shopping app. The shoes the seller shipped to me (Chicago 2015) were not the same style as the description in her post, and the shoes she sent to me were fake ones. So I tried to contact to the customer service and provided photos, but the customer refused my refund on the grounds that "vintage cannot be exactly the same as the new goods". But my problems were not solved. I tried to text customer service for the next eight days without success, and send multiple emails, and the platform did not respond to me. If there is any additional information or evidence about the order needed, I will willing to cooperate.

    They take 16% of of your sale. They false advertise and claim they take 10% but that isnt true. The depop shipping they offer is **** Ground and it costs more than purchasing the same **** Ground Service via ************* If you bypass depop shipping and go straight to **** (an option provided when listing items for sale) you are gouged with an extra 6% fee for no reason. When I inquired they said anything on top of 10% is due to the fact that we can't take the shipping fee directly from your buyer. Yet the buyer is not paying a shipping fee. I am paying all of the shipping because I provide free shipping for my listings. Depop is not involved at *************** when I purchase and pay for it from ****. Yet the feel the are owed a payment fee (what they call it on the receipt to me) for doing nothing. Its the shadiest. Straight abject greed. The app is glitchy and often does not work. They also removed PayPal as a payment option because it allows them to hold money in their own coffers for weeks before sending it out to the sellers. It takes upwards of 3 weeks to get paid for an item you sell. You read that correct: THREE WEEKS.

    SCAM! Your money is not protected and Depop will not help you in the event your seller is a scam. Save your money and listen to all of the negative reviews. I wish I did

    I never had an issue with selling on Depop. That was until a few days ago when I got banned. I had shipped an item and it got delivered as the same time when I got banned. And I had some other orders that were delivered at the same time as well. I couldnt receive the money I made since I got banned. So I contacted their customer service and theyre continuing to ignore every email I send even though I threatened them to report them on BBB because this is considered theft and its not okay. Now I cant even file a complaint on BBB. Be aware Depop will take your money and not give it back if youre in a situation like this.

    THIS APP IS A SCAM!!!! Once you make a sale they ask you to pay so they can release your money. The app asks for way too much info for buying and selling goods. Dont fall for it!!

    If I could leave 0 stars I would. They closed my account for violating their TOS at which I did not. They charge a ridiculous amount of fees. They have terrible customer service that only sends auto replies that they copy and paste. No one helps. There is no escalation process. They stole over $900 worth of payouts I was due to receive and that doesn't include all the product I sent out that they refuse to pay me for. This company needs to be shut down and investigated. They should not be able to do this to small businesses for no reason or proof with explanation.

    The customer service is awful. My son had $700 in his account that he made from sales on depop and they wont transfer the money to his account. Nobody gets back to him and they take days to respond. Email only.We have tried several times to re issue the bank information. Nothing works and no help on their end!

    I won't ever be selling on Depop again. USER BEWARE: If someone pays you using Depop payments, YOUR MONEY IS ESSENTIALLY STOLEN. Unless you put your confidential bank information (you know, the one you only use for getting your paycheck) to their very-not-secure app. So if you don't connect to a bank, they just keep your money & the buyer already has your item, the sale is closed. They have literally no other way to get money. You can't even use your balance to shop. They require you to provide bank routing and account numbers, your FULL social security number and your state-issued ID. You know, everything that makes it convenient to steal your identity via their glitchy, not-secure and frequently hacked/compromised platform. My verified PayPal account is connected, they insist there's no other way to pay out my balance. Multiple emails with support ignore pointed questions and just repeat "No worries! Just enter your bank details!" They've been withholding my payment since November 21, 2022. That's 33 weeks. Unacceptable.
