    Prabook,an online website, posted a profile using my maiden name without my permission and never set up an account with *******. The profile contains information that is incorrect and appears to have been edited using a very old resume that was prepared and submitted to a past employer.. I sent an email to ******* requesting removal of the profile and have not received a reply and the profile has not been deleted. Looking at past complaints filed to BBB, what I have experienced appears to have occurred with others without their permission. The dates of several BBB complaints referencing Prabook indicate the profile in my maiden name has possibly been on the web for several years without my knowledge. I would like to request help from the BBB to remove the profile in my maiden name that is on Prabook.

I have not authorized ******** to publish this information. I request that my name and personal information be immediately removed and for Prabooks to instruct ****** and other search engines to remove such listing. My privacy has been breached which could lead to identity theft.

    I recently saw my personal information appear in a simple ****** search of my name. I did NOT authorize this! I am horrified that this company is facilitating identity theft by publishing my personal information. I have not authorized this company to have my information, much less to publish it.     My personal date of birth and place of birth information is published online at ****************************** without my authorization. It is found in a simple ****** search and is searchable in a single click on their website after typing in my name. At ************ typing in my first and last name on their front page and hit "search", my personal information is included on the next screen. This is totally not authorized. This is a flat out violation my right of privacy, and it is helping others to commit identity theft. My date of birth and place of birth must be removed immediately otherwise I will file a complaint with the appropriate federal and state authorities. There are federal and state laws prohibiting this company from publishing on the internet personal private information such as a date and place of birth.

This is illegal in all respects and the consumers are not being given the opportunity to consent to, delete or correct such *************. In all cases, the ************* is uploaded to the Prabook.com website without the consumer's knowledge. I recently discovered my personal profile and account on the prabook.com website, which I did not create or authorize, and was shocked at the level of detail of my ************* being publicly disclosed without my knowledge, consent or authorization. I have sent numerous emails and made numerous calls to the contact information on *******'s website but no one answers the telephone or responds to the emails. This is an illegal website and needs to be shut down. I request the permanent deletion of my Personal Information on the prabook.com website immediately as it is damaging my personal and professional life. If this matter is not resolved immediately, meaning if business continues to use my profile account illegally and without authorization, legal action will taken.     ******** repeated response to BBB complaints is that it accepts removal requests in accordance with the Right to be forgotten, removing data in response to the BBB complaints, while encouraging people to contact them directly for such requests. However, we contacted ******* in writing on February 17 & February 22, requesting removal of a listing & personal data that the company published recently without knowledge or permission, data which is also inaccurate. To date, ******* has ignored our requests to remove the unauthorized listing/personal data & continues to publish it without permission. We would appreciate if this business would kindly honor the representations it makes to the BBB in response to complaints & remove the unauthorized & inaccurate listing/data from its website & from all cached search results without further delay.
