      I placed an online order in November and returned two items from the order in early December 2023. It is now January 12, after MANY calls, emails, and texts, I have been ignored and received no refund. Awful customer service and extremely disappointing after shopping in their stores for years.

      HORRIBLE COMPANY!!! HORRIBLE HORRIFIC CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! THEY WILL TAKE YOUR MONEY!!! THEY DO NOT RESPOND, THEY HANG UP ON YOU!!! I have NEVER experienced this level of unprofessionalism nor this level of TERRIBLE customer service!!!! I would NEVER spend a dime with ************* EVER AGAIN!!!!

      I returned 4-items back within the return policy timeframe on 11/8/23, as of today I still have not received a refund. I've emailed New York and Company several times and keep getting the same response that they are still processing the return. At this point, I've been forced to file a dispute with the New York and Company credit card and my State's attorney general's office. Reading reviews, this seems to be the norm for this company. Buyer beware!

      I emailed three times at different instances seeking help with an exchange because the fit around my lower stomach looked off. Conveniently, they finally responded on the 31st day, stating that an exchange is not possible since it's out of the 30-day window. Check their 'hidden' comments on their social media post, and be aware of what you are getting into if you may need to exchange or return.

      Agree with most other reviews noted recently. I am a long term customer there but NO MORE. I have d/c'ed by credit card and email subscriptions. They are sketchy with customer service, do not respond, are difficult to get in touch with. They even changed their customer service number a while back and the whole call in system was down for several days. They state "your satisfaction is our priority" and "we are working to get this resolved" but none of their actions support this. It is just lip service with no action. The main issue with them is their return policy - it is complex and not customer friendly - it will take forever to get your return back - you will have to print your own return label and pay $9.95 to return to them, and then wait, and they may still even get it incorrect. And then good luck trying to call and get anything resolved. Expect the run around and poor customer service. The best thing to do is DO NOT ORDER from them! Victoria ****** to name one has a much easier return policy and customer service. They also did not let me know of several items there were cancelled in my order bc they were no longer available. My order just arrived without those items, with no communication. Their quality of clothes has also definitely gone down hill over the years. Buyer BEWARE - avoid Ny and CO. I was in correspondence with ******* for a while, but no response from him since 11/20 and I have emailed again multiple times. He was supposed to forward my concerns to a supervisor and I would hear back within 48 hours. That was almost 2 months ago. Looks like they are trending to phase out and that would be the best for consumers. There are plenty of other better womens clothing lines that care about customers. 0 STARS!

      If they had negative stars thats what they would get!! I used to love their clothes in the store. I placed an order and the clothes that came were horrible quality! I sent them back and got an email advising they received my items on Dec 18, 2023. It is now Jan 9, **** and still no refund. I can never get a hold of anyone by phone, no one calls back or emails back just NOTHING! They have completely scammed me out of over $300.00! I would never buy anything from them again. This company should be shut down as a scam! Read reviews!! People dont get their stuff and forget returning it! You WONT get your refund! Their clothes are absolutely horrible now! Not the same company and should not be in business!!!!!

      Don't order from this company. If you return something, you will never get a refund. It is a scam and they should be shut down by BBB

      I placed an order with New York & Company on December 4, ****. I paid for and ordered three (3) T Ponte Bootcut pants all size large. What I received was 2 T Ponte Bootcut pants in size large and (1) T Ponte Bootcut pants in size X-Large. My receipt and my order clear state size large. The company is trying to refund me $9.95 less for restocking fee for an item that they sent me incorrectly. I will also be filing a claim with paypal. Its one thing if I ordered something and it didn't fit and I needed to return it, but I am asking for a refund because they screwed up. The pants tag says large, but the actual tag on the garment is X-Large. Its too big. Why should I have to pay for your error. I want my full refund, since you DID NOT SEND ME WHAT I ORDERED AND PAID FOR.

      I have been ordering New York and Company online for at least four years. Each purchase has been at least $150-$300. Love their items satisfied with 98% of my purchases. This last purchase three of the items were poorly sized, so I returned them according to the email instructions. The items are received nearly 2 months ago, and I have yet to receive Over $80 that was the merchandise I sent back. Now I am paying for merchandise I dont even have and all the customer service keeps telling me is there is a delay. I will never order from this company again and its really sad because I loved their clothes. Their customer service has been sold overseas and is so hard to get a hold of now. DO NOT Order online unless you know youre absolutely going to keep every piece of clothing from them. You will not get your money back.

      New York & Company has been declining for some time from what I can tell. I stopped shopping in-stores once they stopped carrying tall clothing. I would have to order in the store or shop online. In 2020, I stopped buying items altogether. Before I knew it, almost 3 years went by, and I received a message stating that my account would be closed in the coming weeks if I didnt make a purchase. I tried, but the app and the website changed completely. I couldnt use my card at all. So, I had to call customer service to send a new card that never came. Now, Im being sent a card that will probably never come which means my credit will probably take a hit because this is my oldest credit line. Based on the reviews Ive skimmed, it may not be worth keeping the account. Also, customer service cant provide more than scripted answers. This is what the company has been reduced to.
