Horrible customer service and absolutely a scam of a business. I did everything I was supposed to do for pet insurance got it when my dog was a puppy, took him to get a wellness exam, maintained contact and asked what was needed from me. Fetch has denied every single claim I submitted for one reason or another the most ludicrous being that it was a preexisting condition from prior to the policy which he had none, so then they said well he had a sinus infection 5 months earlier (which was still during his coverage) so apparently if your pet gets the same illness more than once they’re not covering it either. Honestly the worst most disrespectful customer service I’ve ever dealt with. They make xfinity customer service look good!

My husband and I are severely disappointed in Fetch. We have had 6 pets insured with them since 2014 (used to be called "Go PetPlan"). We finally have a big claim for one of our cats and they denied us coverage because our cat didn't get an annual during COVID. However, they still willingly took our money for his policy these last three years. Stay very far away from this company. Complete lack of compassion.

When our pet developed an ACUTE kidney issue (never had issues in the past - the ER vet believed it was a kidney stone that destroyed his kidney), and we realized how critical his situation was, we jumped at the chance to save his life because we THOUGHT that Fetch had our back so we went forward with his care to save his life. We were gravely mistaken. Thank you for putting us into a financial hole. Your company clearly values money over life.

      Hey Fetch,
Here's some business advice for you - if you truly care about the people putting money in your pocket everyday, perhaps send out some regular reminders RE: the annual physical. Taking my money without reminders is disgusting.

I will never be recommending Fetch to anyone ever again. In fact I will be recommending everyone to stay far, far away from this company.

Horrible, horrible customer service and insurance. My dog was diagnosed with a congenital liver shunt. I submitted the surgery and CT scan claims and they denied them. I appealed, called and emailed several times and they kept denying the claims. The appeal decision was that because during the grace period he had exhibited elevated liver levels that it was a preexisting condition. The vet wrote a letter explaining that the elevated liver levels could have been because my dog ate something and he had been throwing up and with diarrhea, and we did not know for a fact that it was related to the liver shunt at that time. But they still said they would not pay. So I cancelled my insurance. They would take days to get back to me via email and even had the wrong customer information on various emails. When I would call, the customer service representatives would give me conflicting information about timelines and when to expect a decision on the appeal. All around not helpful and just a waste of money. I ended having to cover everything for my dog’s surgery. The annual coverage we had was only for $5k and we paid nearly $15k. All we wanted was the annual coverage but they didn’t even provide that. Think twice before going buying Fetch.

We were lured in by the relatively low premiums, and as a result we’ve wasted over a thousand dollars on plans for our 3 dogs and two thousand more in vet bills that they never covered. They’ve denied every single claim (except for one which was below the deductible anyway) despite us providing all of the documentation possible. One our dogs we took in at year old because his previous owner abandoned him. We had no medical records from before we got him, but took him for an exam and shots immediately and he was looking healthy. Fast forward to 7 months later and we’re submitting claims for bloodwork and an ultrasound on the vet’s suggestion. Fetch denies both of these claims because we can’t come up with records that don’t exist from before we got this dog. Would have been nice to know when we first signed up with Fetch that they weren't going to cover anything.

Before they were Fetch, it was Go Pet. They made it so easy and reimbursed you within a few days, just like Pet Plan who my last dog was insured through. Fetch will look for ANY reason to deny your claim. You have to submit med records EVERY TIME (the last two companies just once a year or if you went to a specialist/ER) and even then, they generalize conditions so a skin infection from being on the street and infested with fleas she had prior to being insured was the same as a rash from an allergic reaction and they tried to say it was pre-existing. They even fought me about a mammary tumor she had removed before she was insured and a skin mass she had removed after saying it was pre-existing. Your vet will clear it up with them, but I've spent HOURS having to go back through invoices they denied and shouldn't have. WAY too much work. On top of that they take TWO WEEKS+ to reimburse you and that's WITH direct deposit. Should have gone with Pet Plan again...definitely do not recommend.

The FETCH rates keep going up before the annual review. When the review comes it is a significant increase in premium. They try very hard to not pay any part of a claim, always finding some loop hole to drop or not pay. I though my premium was to high and I made the mistake of changing the coverage with a high copay. The claim they partially reimbursed was at the new rate NOT the rate I had at the time of the claim. Absolute rip-off in my eyes. You'd be better off creating a saving account and depositing a monthly amount in it for any costs.

Rescued a pup and bought this insurance the first day we brought him home. Turned out he had giardia and waiting the 15 days waiting period would have cost him his life. $700 bill for that one.
Another $150 to run tests to make certain he was over the giardia and then had his required vaccinations. Next is his neutering - another $100.
BE AWARE NONE OF THIS IS COVERED BY FETCH!!! Unfortunately, when I tell people how restrictive their policies are, people wonder aloud if adopting an animal is worth it. Bringing a new animal home requires a new owner to make certain this new family member is healthy. Doing so can result in an investment of thousands of dollars which this useless policy will not cover.
CHOOSE A BETTER COMPANY that actually cares for the health of your new pet. This one is a lucrative scam!!!

DO NOT GO WITH THIS COMPANY! I SIGNED UP WHEN THEY WERE GO PET PLAN AND WITH NO WARNING TURNED INTO FETCH! RAISED MY RATES SKY HIGH KNOWING I HAD TWO SENIOR DOGS AND WAS STUCK, HAS DENIED EVERY CLAIM FOR SOME REASON OR ANOTHER THAT THEY CLAIM IS IN MY PLAN. COMPLETE SCAM. DON'T DO THIS ONE. THERE ARE A LOT OF OTHERS THAT ARE ACTUALLY BENEFICIAL FROM OTHER PET OWNERS I HAVE HEARD FROM. THIS PLACE SHOULD BE PUT OUT OF BUSINESS!!! NOT EVEN 1 STAR!!
