Paying for insurance for 2 years, to not be covered in state of emergency. When I made my account I submitted information about my dog and paperwork on her getting neutered. They didnt covered it, but no big deal. I deleted the app from my phone and continued paying $20 monthly. Something happened to my dog and I submitted a claim. Whats strange is I checked to see all of my dogs information and her paperwork was gone from the account. Anyways they said I have no proof of prior paperwork, therefore, I cannot get my money back. So Ive paid ***** out of pocket PLUS $20 a month for 24 months. When canceling, they gave me $15 back Ive **** near invested in this scam. DO NOT INVEST IN THIS INSURANCE.

I have been paying several months now to fetch.com but they have since May 2023 keep asking for soap notes past invoices. My vet has given them 10 pages plus the notes from the invoice date. I hv 2 outstanding invoices. One $163 May 23 and one from July 8, $124. They wait 2 weeks and then they ask for more. I have canceled the auto pay Saturday since they are not paying. They say they are EASY, SIMPLE AND PAY BACK WITHIN 2 WEEKS. LIES. I used my deductible and got paid once, again it was a 2 month ordeal of harassing me and me harassing my Vet. Do not use them. They are a scam. My dog is only 2 years old and has been seen for typical visits. I.Have read that some of these pet insurance companies are just not regulated. Be careful. I have had it. If they cannot pay a simple claim, I stopped further auto payments as of 7,21/24.

This pet insurance is not quite honest. We added on the wellness program for our cat and they do not let you know that you can only put in a claim for the wellness part once a year. This is very important as the cat needed vaccines, teeth cleaning and more. After receiving compensation once, it was evident that they were not going to pay even for a teeth cleaning which was part of the wellness. After calling in inquiring they finally did. This could be a frustrating matter and in the end one could pay more out than just doing an out of pocket.

Fetch Pet Insurance is a scam. I never filed a claim with them and had moved to a new area. They said they needed to raise my rates. I called to cancel my insurance because the rates were too high. During the conversation with the customer service rep, they argued that I could not cancel my pet's insurance and would be charged no matter what. They said I legally had to have pet insurance, which is false. My card, which was on file, expired, and I was no longer charged. But I noticed they started charging me again at a much higher rate. The company is fraudulent. I have contacted my bank and have spoken to an attorney about this situation.

This unethical underhanded company has been using every legal loophole it can to **** my policy prices from over 300% for both my pets in less than two years. I've been paying a pricey premium since they were small, and all of a sudden they ****ed their prices out of nowhere (the new underwriter, apparently, wants to squeeze existing customers before bankrupting the think and writing as a tax write-off, probably). I can't switch a provider because my cat has a pre-existing condition, so now I'm just paying for medical treatment with extra steps. This insurance company is basically a fraud, a lie. They will charge you for an insurance, and then will **** your prices if you ever actually need to use them. If you love your pet, choose a better provider, or put your money in savings. Paying fetch is just going to cause you frustration and result in worse care for your pet.

As a long-time customer, I have been a loyal advocate for Fetch since my dog was just a few months old. I've consistently paid premiums for his coverage, trusting Fetch to be there when he needed medical care and paid the gradually increasing rate willingly each year. Unfortunately, the recent underwriter change has resulted in a three-fold increase in his premium over one year, triple last years rate, due to his age and chronic condition, making the insurance cost prohibitive for me to use to help in his older years and the imminent health concerns that come with aging. This change feels particularly unfair given my loyalty and the positive experiences I've had with Fetch previously. I've historically recommended their company to numerous friends and family members and even opted to enroll my second, perfectly healthy dog, with Fetch despite lower introductory rates offered by other companies. However, this recent premium hike at a time when insurance is needed most, makes me question the long-term value of Fetch's policies and integrity as a company. I understand that every company needs to make a profit but I find this predatory. It seems that when a pet truly needs coverage, the costs become prohibitive, which I feel all dog owners should be aware of before considering enrolling with this company.

I would not recommend this insurance. I have been paying my dogs premiums since he was a pup. He is now 10 years old and is finally in need of the insurance and they more than doubled the insurance because I put in some claims this year from one month from $76-$166, they also know that I cannot leave the insurance because he has a pre-existing condition. This is the most reprehensible kind of business that takes advantage of someone who needs their help the most.

My plan was $300 per quarter, or $1200 per year. I have a 7 year old ******** spaniel who had had ear infections and allergies in the past. For the year that I was with them, I paid about 1500 in vet bills, they only reimbursed $90. They did not reimburse for the ear infection, nor the allergy shot he did so well with (Cytopoint), and NOT even the ANNUAL physical. My plan had a 5k annual coverage, deductible of $300, and the Essential Wellness coverage. So I basically paid 1500 (vet bills) + 1200 (fetch insurance), minus 90 that they reimbursed. I doubled my expenses by going with Fetch. Very unhappy.Date of experience: April 24, 2024

Fetch downgraded my pets insurance during renewal (with premium increase). Based on their contract terms and conditions they can change your policy any way they want during renewal and cancel your policy whenever they want as long as they inform you. When I first purchased the insurance policy from them, I was told that the coverage and premiums are not affected by claims. However according to one of their customer representatives whom I spoke with recently, they actually target at policy holders base on claims.

Worst company I’ve ever had the displeasure of trying to
Work with. You have to jump through hoops to speak with an actual human. You get different answers for claim
Issues but no proof or evidence to support those answers. Dont waste money on wellness coverage as they only cover one shot a year even if you have a PUPPY that requires multiple vaccinations/ shots. Your app will reflect one denial reason and after you call you’ll get a completely different Denzil reason. Escalation is not something they take seriously bc if will take days after you write a detailed email with attachments explaining your confusion just for a half ass response
