      On May 13th I order a copy of my marriage license through VitalChek, a branch of this company. I paid $28.45 for them to process a request for the county to send me my 1st marriage license, promising a ***** day turn around, estimated June 3rd. I have not received a copy and no one can be reached by phone for support. The chat option has been disabled and one person reached out to me via email, after several attempts at contact and I was told to contact the issuing county. Wasn't that why I paid for this service? I asked them to follow-up and through and have not heard back for a week. I want my money back for a service I did not receive and an item I did not receive. I think this is a scam.

      I am filing the Complaint against LexisNexis because they are reporting the wrong information on my records to get insurance coverage. I have dispute the inaccurate information and provide them with letters showing they are not at fault accidents and they still refuse to take it off of my file

      LexisNexis Risk Solutions **** takes complaints from consumers extremely seriously and we have a robust process in place for resolving such matters, including a Legal review of all responses and handling by our Operations Escalated Response Team. 

      For Better Business Bureau (BBB) complaints, we continue to use a generic response for posting on the BBB website and a mail a more fulsome response to the consumer.? We have taken this approach to safeguard consumer-specific data; the BBB has confirmed that this is the better approach. 

      If the consumer does not agree with the BBB website response he or she can then reject the case on the BBB website; however, it keeps the consumers data safe.?? 

      And to reiterate, a separate letter is sent to the consumer with the specific details of the resolution via mail.

      In mid-December 2024 I was looking at auto insurance options. When the **** report came back it showed 12 auto insurance claims that were not mine. I contacted LexisNexis, and requested a copy of the report, it was provided to me on 6JAN25. I contacted them to correct the discrepancies via phone, they responded with a letter dated 12FEB25 and 4 more dated 13FEB25 stating they had found their info to be correct. I contacted them again to get the information corrected to which they responded with a letter dated 15MAR25 stating the same as before. I then contacted them again and was told it was not their mistake but that of the reporting company. I contacted ******************** and was told they could not do anything about the matter and gave me the issuing agents name and told me to contact their office. I contacted the agent's office, they confirmed against the policy numbers listed on the **** report that I was not the insured individual. I then wrote a letter to LexisNexis spelling out all of the facts with policy numbers, claim numbers, insured individual's names, that I had spoken with the issuing agent, and that I had never done business with State Farm Insurance. I sent this letter via email and another copy via certified U.S. mail on 28MAR25. I got an email requesting further proof of my identity for which I sent them copies of my passport, Louisiana drivers license, copy of a recent utility bill as well as a copy of my 2024 W-2. On 7MAY25 I called LexisNexis because I had not received any response to my letter. Initially they had trouble locating the letter, after a bit of a wait they came back on the line, and we discussed everything that I had documented and stated. They stated that they would investigate, and I should receive a response in the normal 30 day response time. On 31MAY25 I received a letter from LexisNexis Risk Solutions stating that they had once again found their information to be correct and the copy of the ******* report was unchanged.

      Once again, I disagree with your investigation as a consumer I have rights to privacy and there are consumer laws that protect me as a consumer. Lexis Nexis has violated my rights of privacy on multiple levels, once again the courts does not report anything information regarding a bankruptcy to Lexis Nexis. I am not participating in ***** as information was bought and sold through a third party which is identity fraud due to my right of privacy. (Public Access to Court Electronic Records). I want to make it explicitly clear that such action is a violation of my consumer rights under federal law, specifically under the Fair Credit Reporting Act

      Time-frame: Second week of May 2025 to present. This entity is providing inaccurate risk information about me to insurance underwriters and is preventing me from obtaining affordable auto insurance. Due to their inaccurate information, I have estimated that my automobile insurance is going to be about $110 per month higher than it would be otherwise. They have an automobile accident for me on file which never occurred - also verified with my current insurance company. However, the underwriters which write new policies on renewal are third-party entities that utilize the reports that LexisNexis provides, and they cannot be contacted even by the insurance company adjuster. All attempts to contact LexisNexis via phone, email, or their on-line form have been unsuccessful. Three rounds of submitting personal information for the purpose of authenticating identity with them have failed, ending with the same boiler plate letter being mailed back to me stating they were unable to authenticate my identity so they can't provide me with any detail or assist with my dispute. They are giving me the impression that they are an illegitimate company that is harvesting consumer information and is totally unaccountable. They need to be investigated themselves.

      I am filing a complaint against LexisNexis Risk Solutions for multiple violations of the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA):A Chapter 7 bankruptcy that was disputed and removed in 2017 due to identity theft was later reinserted in 2019 without proper notification, violating 15 U.S.C. 1681i(a)(5)(B).A dismissed Chapter 13 bankruptcy from 2018 was also reported on my file despite having no adjudication or order for relief, making its inclusion a violation of 15 U.S.C. 1681c(a)(1), which only allows reporting of actual bankruptcy judgments.I have requested that LexisNexis delete and block these inaccurate public records but received no valid explanation of the reinsertion process, verification source, or proper notice of reinsertion.These items have severely damaged my credit and were improperly furnished to other credit bureaus.I request that the *** investigate LexisNexis for FCRA noncompliance and refer the case for enforcement action if necessary.

      Ordered from there vitalchek website chose to get regular shipping and my records are still not here its going on a month now very unacceptable. I shouldnt have to pay 50+ to get something in a timely manner. If a date is put for delivery then thats when I should expect it. Then when you call NO ONE answers been on hold for 3 hours. Its giving scammer vibes at this point. I shouldnt be worrying about this when you are dealing with people sensitive information.

      I am writing to formally express my frustration and concern regarding the ongoing refusal and delay in providing access to my consumer report. Initially, I received a letter containing an invalid access code, which prevented me from accessing my report. I submitted a request and waited the required 10 days for the initial response, but I was unable to access my report due to the invalid code. Following this, I submitted a second request. However, I have not received any letter, response, or follow-up from LexisNexis after that second request, despite the passage of the expected response period. It has now been well over ******************************************************************************* any communication from your company. Furthermore, I previously requested my report via email, but my request was refused, and I have been unable to obtain my report through any means for nearly a month. This situation is unacceptable and violates my rights under the Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), which entitles me to timely access to my consumer report. I am now requesting a third formal written request for my report, understanding that it may take an additional 30 days to process. However, I strongly urge you to expedite this matter and provide my consumer report without further delay. Please respond immediately with confirmation of this request and provide my report within the next 10 days. If I do not receive my report or a satisfactory response, I will consider escalating this matter to appropriate authorities for violation of my rights under the ****.
