      Ive had CLEAR for a few years now and I enjoy seeing them at airports and wished they had more locations for the smaller airports. Love jumping the lines at the airport so I can get to the lounge and relax. Mahalo

      They scammed us. In from an international connection traveling with tired kids a helpful person in uniform came over and told us to follow her around the line. We thought it was because we had kids and that it was an airport employee. Really she was looking to prey on us for commission. We left our spot in the *** line and did what she told us. She clicked through all of the menus herself giving us no opportunity to read any contract etc. Eventually she asks for a credit card! When I look shocked she says its to verify our identity. When I point blank ask her what is going on, eventually after she has all that she needs to get her commission she admits that we can avoid paying for this by checking our email. I did not wait to get an email, I googled the phone number and called to cancel. Now I read all these people saying they did the same but still got charged.

      Scam- agents acted as thought this was a free service and part of regular airport- never was told there was a price point and my cc card was asked for -another form of identification - surprise charge for 189$ on my card- trying to dispute but cc company says I used the service BEWARE-

      There were big banners for Delta *** Miles, **** platinum card holders to enroll in CLEAR at ********* jut before the Security check point at terminal C, and the agent promised a full reimburse of the $189 annual fee, to "look for it on my statement in 3-6 weeks.The two issues are, I never got the credit, and **** refuses to file a dispute. No paperwork is generated at enrollment, just an email. You get taken to the front of the line and through security "faster". (Only that first time was it faster.)When I flew to ****** on July 12 from ***, my husband, (who only had TSA pre-check) He actually got thru the line BEFORE ME! (*I had pre-check, also). Then on our return out of ******, the line was the longest I have EVER seen and we thought we'd miss our flight, so we registered him for the $70 family member; not supposed to be charged for 14 days FREE TRIAL. I was charged $66 even though we CANCELLED his trial the next day. IT'S CRIMINAL. Don't do it!I cancelled my account and will find out in 3-5 days what pro-rated credit I get back, with a potential $30 processing fee. This is a terrible way to do business. NO CUSTOMER SERVICE (only a chat-bot, and 30 minutes on queue to be told by CLEAR that the credit should come from AMEX.)

      Clear is a scam. Their sales team intervene at a high stress time when harried travelers are trying to get through security. They look like United staff and offer you a 'short cut' through security, which is actually no shorter than if you'd stayed in line. By the time you realize that the service costs $189 you have already burned through 10 minutes when you are in a hurry to get to your gate. So you resolve to cancel at the next time you can think. But there is no reminder about the cancelation window so the next time you realize you've been scammed is when you are charged.

      They were very aggressive with me. Their representative said they would never charge my credit card. I feel so violated and stupid. How I couldve trusted this person from clear at the airport??? I will never understand. how did this company get approval from the US government? And how are they allowed to operate at the airport? People are stressed at the airport and thus vulnerable. I thought this service would save me time at the airport.

      CLEAR Plus usually allows us to board faster. However, CLEAR Plus customer service amounts to pulling your own teeth. My wife and I had free CLEAR Plus memeberships through AMX. AMX changed and woud allow only one reimbursed CLEAR PLUS membership fee. We wasted around 2 hours trying to discuss cancelling her $189.00 membership and ensure CLEAR refunded the $189.00 AMX charge. For this costly fee, CLEAR PLUS should have instant help to its membership. They do not and you will be holding your phone for sometime before receiving assistance!

      Quick to take the money, terrible customer support, no answers, the app is crazy confusing and the confusion will most certainly lead to consumer protection issues being relaxed. They are hunting whales with a connection to AMEX Platinum, they better have some darn good security protocols in place themselves

      DO NOT GO WITH THEM, IT'S A NIGHTMARE-I call on January 28 to cancel the membership since I didn't see any advantage, i travel a lot and was faster TSA than Clear. After waiting for ****************************************************************** that will be no charge and they cancel my subscription. On July 26th they withdraw $179.00 dollars from my account even the subscription was not renewed and cancelled. I call customer service and spend an hour and five minutes at the phone, they denied that I call previously to cancel my subscription and they refuse to transfer me to a supervisor, they told me that the best they can do as a courtesy is offer me a partial refund.I GIVE THEM ACERO STAR Very disappointed, scammy, do not recommend to anyone.

      The CLEAR agent at the airport completely misrepresented the companys trial offer as being free of charge for three years if we held a certain credit card. We received an email a day later stating the trial period is 14 days and we would be charged thereafter.When contacting CLEAR customer service, the agent neither apologized nor offered any concession.CLEAR obtained personal information on the basis of a false claim. Based on other BBB reviews this is not a rare occurrence but rather a common practice. Shameful!
