      This is a scam they charged my account for $189.00 for membership and charged my account again for $169.00 within a month of me traveling. I would rather wait in line. Now Im trying to get my refund. Dont use this service.

      It is a scam. Like the other posters, I fell for the free registration, then was billed $189. Not worth it and surprised the airport allows them there.

      I was conned into this at the airport, I never signed up for this nor did I OK anyone to use my credit card for anything. I agree with everyone else that has posted a review here. Why doesn't someone stop them from scamming people?

      A clear representative pulled me out of line at *** and told me they were with the airport (first lie) and that they were going to cut my time waiting to board into a fraction. I was told to sign up and that I could delete my account immediately and would not be charged. Before the 30 days were up I was charged the full amount. While talking to their customer service department (in an attempt to be refunded on the money they stole from me) it became apparent that this wasnt a mistake, but instead this is their whole buisness model! Im disgusted to think that this is happening to fellow travelers who may not be as well off as myself, CLEAR IS A PREDATORY COMPANY. I cannot believe *** is allowing these criminals to operate on their facility.

      Predatory scam company.Person signing me up lied and said there was no subscription involved, and navigating through to cancel on the site has intentionally confusing never mind buttons everywhere to get you to remain subscribed without realizing it. A good service would not need to trick people in order to be purchased.

      I had a terrible experience!-I was charged before the trial period ended.- Only 1 of the 4 airports I traveled through offered Clear.- I had to contact the company 10 times before they finally canceled the membership.-After canceling the membership, they automatically renewed the subscription a year later.

      Rude group of people that harass you if you do not want to sign up and pay the exorbitant fee. Then they have the audacity to cut in front of the line and split up groups of travelers. Just another pat to play company that will eventually hit ************************* and need to offer another tier and keep taking on predatory practices to grow their business without thinking of the marketplace.

      I just finished cancelling an account my boss set up at the airport a few weeks ago. The CLEAR ambassador told him that membership would be free because of the type of credit card he has, but then immediately charged him $189. The second star is because I was able to cancel his account fairly easily and they did say a refund will be coming shortly.

      SCAM SCAM SCAM written all over it. This company makes it appear like you can't go past them at the airport without going through them, so people blindly follow their instructions to get to their gate at the airport. They literally act like TSA but use your credit card for "identification purposes.", but it's not for identification purposes at all. It's to charge your credit card account $189.00 and STEAL from you.This company should not exist. I repeat. THIS COMPANY SHOULD NOT EXIST!
