      This company is a bona-fide scam/hoax and should be investigated for fraudulent behavior. Their employees at ****************** Airport are discourteous and unprofessional. Having a family account, I went through unnecessary stress as the machines continually indicated that my biometrics could not be found even after rescanning and talking with a member of their customer service team on the phone. I explained several times to their airport “ambassador” that my account was current and she indicated that I had to reactivate my account. Even after having done that, the machines still registered that my biometrics needed updating. Additionally, their in-person employees lack customer service. They were callous and sarcastically rude. They need to take training lessons from *********** or some other 5-star organization. They only reason why they are still in business is because they hook unknowingly customers trying to get through TSA check-in expeditiously. DO BETTER and RIGHT by your millions of consumers.

      Not a good value at all. Just paid my $239 annual renewal for Clear for the two of us and when we tried to go through the Clear line at **************************** we were told that it was for people with Clear AND TSA pre-check only. There was also a TSA pre-check line which was shorter than the Clear line. ********************* on Clear, just get TSA, pre-check would be my advice.

      It is nearly IMPOSSIBLE to get your money back.They got us at the departure gate very early in the morning and explained that it would be $20 per person and we would be charged nothing right then. Sounded like a good deal and interesting technology, and we could cancel at anytime, so why not?By the time we got back from vacation, they had charged us $189, TWICE. So for this gimmick, it was not $40 but nearly 100% more! They did NOT explain that you could have one person under another's account. So we got two accounts using the same card. We got on the phone with them and explaining that this NO ONE told ** the ACTUAL cost! We asked for a refund. Because we had flagged it as fraud, there was back and forth with ClearMe and the bank. We removed the hold and got one back on November 16th. Now waiting on the second one. More back and forth went on...and on...and on...and ON. For a month! (We needed to update my account. Then we'd get it back. A couple days later, still nothing. Then someone told us that my account had been cancelled, we needed to reactivate. THEN we'd get the refund. We wait, still nothing. Then we needed to write an email, it was MY account, not HIS....which we'd been explaining till blue in the face for at least 2 weeks on a dozen calls. THEN they said that my account had been deactivated, so I needed to REACTIVATE, AGAIN, and then update the card information since we'd used HIS. So we do THAT. Then another 24 hours. This is December 9th. Then...nothing. Call back, the the money had been refunded on November 16th. Then they tell us that it was out of their hands)Meanwhile, we had explicitly stated multiple times that we were cancelling and NOT to charge us again. They had said, in our file you are NOT going to be charged again.FINALLY with the bank and ClearMe on the phone, we got our refund.The NEXT DAY, $189 comes BACK OUT. (Even if we had NOT gone through all this, it's supposed to be YEARLY, NOT monthly)STEER CLEAR OF CLEARME!

      UNBELIEVABLE assumption that if my airline doesn't renew my clear membership pro ****, then I will be automatically charged for a membership!!Whaaaaat???

      I signed up for clears free trial to skip the massive TSA line. A few days later I cancelled my membership. For the next year, CLEAR didnt even enter my mind until I received an email last month about extending my membership. It seems their system didnt cancel my membership, even though I specifically remember doing so. They wrongfully charged for $179 for a service I never used, and now cannot even reply to my numerous emails asking about the incident. Unfortunately its beyond my 60 days to dispute the charge. Be warned: its tempting to skip the line, but theyll come for you money and their customer service is non existent.

      I just cancelled my free trial so I can't say whether or not I have been billed yet, but I'm ready for it. I just have to say that CLEAR as a whole truly feels like a scam and I do not understand how they haven't been shut down yet. It makes absolutely no sense to me. We just traveled for my grandma's birthday, and my parents have TSA Pre. My almost 7yo daughter and I do not, and it was late... I didn't want to have to go through the whole hassle of taking my shoes off, taking ALL of our electronics- there are a lot- and batteries. She had a jacket on... I was just like, you know what? I don't care how much it costs for me to just walk through security easily. Because that's what I thought was going to happen!!! I walked up, asked the price- $189. More than I wanted to spend but my daughter was free and I could add my husband (who wasn't with us) for $60. So I figured that's about 3 TSA Pre-Check costs, and after they said I can cancel before 2 weeks, I said sure. I went through the whole process... all while my parents were just sitting on the other side of security waiting for us... as we watched literally NO ONE walk through the regular security line (it was EMPTY at the airport). I got all finished up, and the kind woman (I will say they're very nice and they do seem to want to help people) walked me up to security and told him I was "clear." He sent me to a line and I started loading my stuff up onto the belt when the security guy stopped me and asked about electronics and shoes and stuff. I said "Oh! I'm a CLEAR member." and he said "that's only to get you to security... you still have to do everything else." Excuse me?? $189 TO WALK ME TO SECURITY??? Just so I wouldn't have to go through the apparent DRAMATIC hassle of getting my ID out? Are you KIDDING ME?
      This is NOT a service. It's a SCAM. It costs more than TSA-Pre for absolutely NOTHING. If you're constantly at airports with hour long security queues... i dunno, maybe? But since when has that happened?

      Exactly what all the people say here. It is impossible to cancel. They say theyre not going to charge you and then 189 dollars comes out of your account. Not only that when you try to cancel, it says theyre reviewing your case, and will get back to you. I want my money back Clear. They also have all my bio data which is very unnerving. Some airports took it others didnt. It is a scam, beware.

      I was charged $189 for a subscription to ClearMe when I thought I was only getting a free trial. I would really like to cancel my subscription and get a refund.
