      If I could give less than 1 star I would. This might be one of the only companies I've ever dealt with that deserves a negative star rating. I've had Verizon cable and internet for years now and recently cancelled, but every single communication I had with them was a nightmare. Every person I spoke with told me something different. They constantly went back on their word, said that the prior person I spoke with shouldn't have offered that, and then after wasting hours upon hours on the phone with a plethora of agents, they would end up granting what the original person promised and put an order in for, but then was not originally delivered. I wish this were a one time thing, but it happened several times over the years - each one taking up hours and hours of my life that I will never get back. For as long as I live, I will do everything in my power to never use this company again. Their customer service is a joke, they change your bill constantly and unexpectedly, and never deliver on promises they make. At best, the internet and cable were shaky. You pay for certain speeds, only for them to later tell you that those speeds aren't guaranteed and basically 'you get what you get'. I'm so happy people are cutting cable and Verizon is suffering. They're essentially too big to fail at this point but the way they run their business is nothing short of impressive that they have any customers left. I highly recommend going with literally any other phone, internet, cable, etc. provider than Verizon. I promise you that you will regret giving Verizon your business.

      Horrible customer service. I used the chat feature and the person was extremely rude. Verizon Agent Chat is below:Hi, I am ****** I hope you are doing good. Rest assured, as we are connected, we will help you with it.You will receive a pop up like notification on your phone *******, please accept and grant ****** so that we can get into your account and check details.Phone should be connected to an Internet, shall I send?--what do you have to check? I just need a transfer pin Dial #PORT And you get your transfer *** Or use the ********************** App/website to get the transfer ***.Under the account settings --it doesnt work What error are you getting?--this account is not a manager Correct and hence asked and requested above for the pop up verification and you denied.--Actually I asked why you wanted it and you didnt answer me That was the reason and you said you just want the *** and I shared the way to get the ***.Now, shall I send the verification pop up?--thats great that you shared how but since it doesnt work what was the point?Hence requested for the account ******, right?--again an explanation before hand would have been helpful Again, we did request and it was denied and hence we respected your decision and again we requested for the account ****** which is still denied.--there have been no pop *** Can I send the verification pop up on your phone?--nor denials yes Yes, there are no pop *** because wwe did not sent as you did not say yes for it.Sending now Please check and accept --again you didnt answer my question first I did answer all your question, please do check and for now, please accept the pop up before it expires and we will then get the *** for you.Thank you.--asking a question is not a denying ******. You should answer the question and not assume that a question is saying no

      Verizon was charging me for an extender that I was not in possession of. When I tried to cancel this service from my bill, they said I needed to return the extender. I then proceeded to tell them that I wasn't in possession of this extender and it was returned. I was on a Live Chat for 1 hour and 50 minutes. I asked to speak to a supervisor and that took almost an hour for the Verizon rep. to reply on the chat. All I kept getting was "silence" or that they are working on getting the supervisor. I think they were hoping that I would get frustrated and leave the chat but I didn't. I kept recording the session and time. I will definitely report this to Verizon's corporate office as well.

      Since March Ive had three channels pixelating. Verizon has sent 6 technicians out and the problem still cannot be rectified. Today it still pixels. I have gotten credits but i would like a credit for every month that it is not fixed. I cannot believe that I have to go through this I have been a customer since ***************************************************************************************** fix the issue. Its channels ******* and 735. The ticket that I have with Verizon for repairs states chronic issue and They still cannot fix it its a disgrace that a company that advertise with a commercial every minute cannot fix this issue! Buyer beware of this company.

      0 stars if I could... Called them to see if I could get a range extender since my house happens to fall in one of the only dead zones in our town. They did end up sending me one. On that same phone call, the rep I was talking to asked if I wanted to add on Verizon Cloud and some "Smart Family" add-on, free for a month. I told him no since I always forget to cancel those things. He told me that it automatically sends a notice before you get charged. I said fine, thinking he probably has to convince a certain number of people to try these useless add-ons. I never got a notification. Apparently they sent the notification by email (went straight to spam with the rest of their junk emails). Every other notification comes through as a text or MyVerizon app notification. I just noticed after ~4 months of it being billed. I never used the services but they refused to drop the charges. ****** me off enough that I'm switching to ************ They wouldn't return like $60. Now they're losing $90+ per month. Hope the crappy customer service protocols are worth it. If anyone is stuck with them because you signed a contract or you need to pay off a phone, do the math before sticking around. Many other carriers will pay off your phone as incentive to switch. *********** is only $20/month for 10gb of 5g data + unlimited talk/text. I still owed $240 on my phone, but with a $70/mo discount on my phone bill, I'll be saving money by switching after 3 months. I knew there were cheaper options out there but stuck with Verizon since I thought bigger businesses would have better customer service. My mistake. Change carriers. They have a 1 star rating for a reason.

      I went from Verizon to Verizon Business and highly recommend any business stay away. Was promised certain prices and promotions that I never recieved. The business rep sold me on a plan that was supposed to lower my monthly bill and it actually almost doubled. If I could give 0 stars I would.

      Received service and equipment I didn't want and was charged an outrageous termination fee when never used service and canceled within 24 hrs of connection date. ALSO GOT BILLED FOR SERVICE NEVER USED.

      Verizon raised my monthly bill. I am unemployed and retired. When I called to complain they offered me promotions (that ended up costing me even more money) that they never came through on. I have spent hours on the phone with them trying to redeem a $100 gift card to apply to my monthly bill. Total run around. No one knows what's going on. Spare yourself the aggravation. They're not the only game in town.Horrible customer service.

      I have a small business. I had Verizon for my home so I also chose Verizon for my business. I had nothing but issues from month to month. I had to call in every month because my bill was more than it was to be, my internet would not work, there were charges for $2.99 for information THAT WAS NOT called or when it would rain the phone would call 911 and a state Trooper would show up at the door and/or the phone could not be used due to static and the inability to hear. After 2 years of this, I switched service. I then get a bill for $632.32 because Verizon says I had a contract with them. The bills were inconsistent and I had expressed dissatisfaction over and over. I have contacted Verizon about this bill and was told to ask ****** for them to adjust my bill to cover this payment! When I called Verizon today I was told that there is now nothing that can be done and I am to pay this bill! I expressed that I would be happy to pay this bill if I had been satisfied with Verizon and did not have any issues. I had to have phone service for my business and did not have any choice in having Verizon until I could get another company set up. We were good customers paying our bills every month and I was nice when I called in every month! I am upset because we now get this bill that is unwarranted. We would have stayed with Verizon if their monthly bills would have stayed consistent to a "contract" and if the product would have been consistent and worked the way it should have! If I could at this point I would leave a -0/5 stars!
