Date of transaction: 6/4/24 Transaction for life MD prescription Cost: $129 Upon starting program I paid $129 on 6/2/24 for the ****1 weight loss plan. On their site they advertised saving up to 50%off in addition to getting a prescription card to save 90% on prescriptions. So in short I paid 258 for an appointment and meds which I thought the initial payment was covering based on my submission form. Upon the end of my telehealth call I was charged for the meds - this was not explained in the program details. The doctor stated they've had numerous people complain and nothing's been done. The prescription discount is my issue as I was lead to believe that the 90% discount would be applied to the prescription through them once put through CVS or whatever pharmacy. That is not the case. The prescription card can only be used for other prescriptions due to the limits placed on this medication for diabetics using the drug, with low supplies currently. I want this business to honor what they're advertising - give me my discount or refund my moneyBusiness Response

Paid for service they received Paid $ which was a weight loss program. I understand that amount if I was getting feed back from the company which I wasnt. I communicated that my medication was never received thus no services have been rendered. I paid for three months and Im confused as to the fact that after few weeks there is no correspondence about weight loss or a checking in on clients and providing additional information not just from the initial consultation. Confusing that I am paying for just a three minute conversation with an NP. The guarantee was that medication would have been given three-five days after consultation. All I received was anti nausea medication and Im in two weeks in. I want to request a refund for the lack of responsiveness and that services/medication were never rendered.Business Response

Signed up for the weight loss program on May 27th.the website basically says I should get my prescription in about 2 days. Waited a week. Still not shipped. Get an email stating it could be another ***** days before I receive the weight loss meds. In the meantime they would be charging my credit card every 30 days for 300 dollars while I sit back and wait for the medicine. This is a scam. I cancelled and was told no refund would be issued.Business Response

On May 20, I joined as a new member and have yet to see a provided. Labs were requested and provided labs I have completed within the last 6 months, but I have yet to receive a response from a provider. I reached out via the app and received responses from the support team stating that they do not know when I will receive a response. I also reached out the phone number provided on their website during the indicated business hours and no response. I should also mention that no medication was prescribed or received so I am not sure why I am being charged this $199 fee. I sent an email to request a full refund. I have yet to hear back from this business. so far this look like a scam.Business Response

Hello, I received a text message from LifeMD about a 6-month special for ozempic for only $387 per month, so I clicked on the link provided, since I was interested in a weight loss option, however I found that the deal was false, and I wouldn't actually be receiving anything, but I didn't know this until speaking to one of their representatives briefly. She informed me that customer care would be in touch regarding my refund. I have messaged the company multiple times and called in the past 72 hours with no response. I feel that they're purposely avoiding my call, so they don't have to refund the charges. I feel very taken advantage of and would like a full refund.Business Response

On 5/16/2024 I purchased this companies plan at $290 for three months of service which was supposed to help me get weight loss medications. The website is so misleading. Were coming up on a month since I purchased and I still do not have the medication and communication has been less than acceptable. I requested my account to be canceled and refunded. I called the 1800 number and no response. I found on the app support but it stays it no longer exists. I would like a full refund back please. What they advertised is not what I have received.Business Response

On Saturday, June 1st I signed up with LifeMD for a monthly supply of the medication Mounjaro. I have been forced to do this because there is a nationwide shortage and as a ********, I need this medication. The company offers 3 different packages on its website, one for a monthly supply, a 3-month supply or 6 six-month supply of the medication. As I am hoping that the national shortage will be over soon, I chose the monthly package so that I may stop the subscription at any time. My understanding was that the charge of $129 per month (which, by the way was debited out of my account immediately), was the cost of the medication and NOT merely the cost of the monthly subscription, as this is how the company advertises the cost. However, I have since found out that this is not the case. I have messaged the company to stop my subscription with immediate effect but have not heard back from them. I am very upset and disappointed that a company like this is taking advantage of people like me who need this medication. The website is misleading and dishonest about how you can get the medication you require. I do not know how to ensure that they do not continue to take the monthly amount of $129 out of my account.Business Response
