On May 16 I had a virtual telehealth visit with a lifeMD provider. My account was charged $387 for weight management program and an additional $99 for the prescription. As of June 13 I have still not received any services nor a prescription. The company has claimed to have technical difficulties and on May 30 claimed to have resent my prescription with expidited shipping. These claims were false. The prescription has still not shipped and the company has failed to respond to my request for a refund for services and products that were not recieved.Business Response

I paid nearly $300 for a three month plan. Should never have done that since its been half a month since I met with the provider who told me medication could take up to 10 days to arrive and to date the order has not been processed. Ive messaged twice in the last two days with no response. Ive been charge an additional $300+ for the medication I never received. Ive requested that my account be cancelled and a refund, but again, heard nothing and the system wouldnt allow me to cancel. So frustrating. Ive paid over $600 and received nothing. This company is scamming people.Business Response

I paid $400 for a six month subscription to live md. Once I paid, I had to wait for 3 weeks appointment to see the **** for the first time, then I could order the medication. I was told the medication should only take 5-10 business days, but of course it was lengthened once the pharmacy received the script to ***** business days. Placing me starting the medication 2 months into my subscription. I went ahead and made my appointment for the second bottle asap because I knew it took a long time to get an appointment. My second appointment was on may 16, 2024. I still have yet to receive my step up dose when it should have been delivered almost a week ago. Ive messaged in the appt for the last two weeks trying to make sure id have it in time for my step up dose, it no one responds. I did find the phone number online and spoke with someone two weeks ago, but still no medication tracking number. I messaged and called multiple times this week because I am now out of the medication. But no word from Anyone from live md. The two people I spoke with at their call center, couldnt give me any information and they had to have a manager call me. But shocker that was Thursday and theres been no call. I did call the pharmacy, and they were able to tell me the medication is shipping out this week. I shouldnt have had to call the pharmacy, thats why I paid live md! Never do business with these people. Nothing but a headache! And Im now over 3 months into my subscription. They did lengthen my subscription to 8 months because it took almost 2 months to get started with my medications. But its honestly not worth dealing with this company.Business Response

I reject this resolution. I have asked multiple questions, shipment information and billing information on SEVERAL occasions, and here we are in July and there's no response. My most recent was to find out about an overcharge of $159.00 when it's suppose to be $100.00 for the product. No one has told me there was going to be an upcharge and how much it would be, until I tried to refill it 2 weeks ago. I was charged the $159.00 on May 17, 2024. I have not spoken to anyone from the business, I've called and apparently no managers are ever available to speak with. ************ is a rip off. Pretty pathetic. I will continue to bad mouth them and their business matters, until they speak to me about all of this.
In order for the BBB to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.
Sincerely,

LifeMD hounds you with texts and emails and coerces you into signing up for their program. I was supposed to have a video call this am to discuss my weight loss goals and no one ever showed up. And then I find out the membership they charged doesnt cover meds which was the reason I signed up in the first place.Business Response

I signed up for a subscription with this company under the advertisement that they could provide me with affordable medication and consultation. Several days after signing up, I have yet to have any correspondence with anyone from the company in regards to my subscription despite the fact they chatted me $199. I have messaged them several times with no response. I feel like I've been scammed by this company and want a full refund because they did not go through with their end of the agreement.Business Response
