      CheapOAir is a scam service. They called me after I purchased tickets and sold me cancellation insurance. Then, it turned out they gave me different dates than I requested. When I realized they gave me the wrong dates, I tried to cancel the trip and they told me that I couldnt because it was meant for unforeseen circumstances which although not defined my reasons werent among them. Then they said you can call the insurance company and put in a claim and see if they will reimburse you but these are non refundable tickets. I strongly recommend never using this scam site.

      CheapOair, a third party company, booked a flight from ********* to ****** for my husband. I called a day before the flight to cancel the flight and secure a refund to no avail. The flight on ****** Airlines was listed as a no-show, eventhough I cancelled the flight in advance. I was told that I would have to pay an additional $43 dollars in order to receive a refund. When I contacted ****** about the refund they stated that the address was input incorrectly and that this has happened with this third party company in order for them to avoid giving refunds and so that the airline is prevented from allowing a refund (as the address on file does not match the address that the customer gives. It is a circular scam. ********************** has transcripts of the call to cancel, but refuses to refund the price of the flight. They stated that there were several steps needed to cancel the flight, but the agent failed to state those steps needed. This repersents a breach of the public trust. Why have a 3rd party company secure flights that are anything but secure?

      In April 2024, I booked a two-month multi-city flight leaving ***** on July 1st, 2024 to ***********, *******, ** to *******, **, *******, ** to *********, **, and lastly *********, ** back to *******, *****. I purchased travel insurance with this airline because of their explanation which gave me a false since of security. My ex-wife died on May 23rd, 2024. We have a 13-year-old son together, and my son suffers from 17Q12 Duplication, which is a genetic disability that affects his ability to relate to people and learn. On May 23rd, I immediately received full custody of my son. My son has been under the treatment of a neuropsychologist since 2020. I advised his psychologist of the situation, and was advised that taking my son ******* on a two-month trip was not in his best interest at this time. I cancelled all my flights with CheapOAir, because I purchased the travel insurance, and as I mentioned CheapOairs explanation on their website made me feel as if it would not be problem getting reimbursed. I then filed a claim with ******** as instructed by CheapOair, advising them my ex-wife had died, but I did not go into much detail because I felt it would not be a problem getting reimbursed. ******** denied my claim, stating an ex-wife is not considered family members. I appealed the claim, but this time I included my sons medical condition and him not being able to travel with me. Once again, ******** denied both claims, international and domestic travel.I feel CheapOair mislead me by thinking purchasing the travel protection would cover me in all circumstances.

      My issue was finally resolved. I was explianed to use the toll free number when calling about car rental bookings. It is a separate department. Also, I was informed that the car rental does not know if you have insurance. You must have a printed copy for verification. You then have to pay for any damages up front and get reimbursed from whomever you bought the insurance through. The insurance does not go through the car rental company. Big learning curve here. Very uncomfortable when in a foreign company with no phone service. They do not acknowledge chat inquiries. Only phone calls.

      Sadly, I cannot book my seat allocation. Each of the 4 fights has a seat allocation plan button. When tapped, it says "Not available".I need an aisle seat as I am 78 years old and have a bladder problem. If I am jammed in the middle, I cannot access the toilet fast enough and a very uncomfortable problem will ensue both for me and other passengers.How do I book seats on each of the 4 flights????
