Like many others, I am writing to note what I feel are deceptive practices. I have been charged for domain renewal since at least 2017 without my consent. I have written to cancel many times while I also assumed that because I was receiving emails to update my payment method, this would mean I would not be charged. The credit card I had on file had expired. The steps in order to cancel my website (a website I no longer had the login for) included sending a copy of my ID and digits from my credit card. Once I did that, they required logging in and changing my status within 72 hours. I do not understand why they cannot cancel via email once I had sent them a copy of my ID. This feels ****** complicated and time consuming. This feels unethical and I feel entitled to the charges I did not authorize.

Buyer Beware! They stole $384 from me for a premium plan that was immediately hacked after I set it up. Multiple attempts to steal my and customers information. I disabled the site to avoid the repercussions but all WIX could do was say sorry. There customer service and contact methods are horrible. First a bot then, live rep. I want my money returned. They are only concerned about ripping people off. Do not use this service!

Extremely disappointed with the unethical practice of billing my credit card without any forewarning.I have filed several complaints with the help center and have had no response.I was billed $684 for a premium account renewal. I wasnt even aware that I had a premium account. My concerns have fallen on deaf ears, if any ears at all?I will not use this company again and I will never encourage anyone to do so either.

They are holding people's money to earn interest off it. Everyone has encountered the same issues. My account was verified before the first payment. They have someone continually responding on here, but they cant return peoples money. Instead theyre on here making excuses. It takes using a bot system to get a call back, and they can only email the compliance department, which supposedly doesnt have phones and at an offsite location. Perhaps in a cabana somewhere, living off everybody elses money.Right after I submitted my initial papers, I received an email at 2 a.m. stating the file needed to be in PDF format. I resubmitted in seven smaller PDFs, and then silence. It is clear that Wix is maintaining a facade of being a legitimate business, especially through invoicing. Anybody can pay for advertising with other peoples money theyre withholding to seem legit, which supports their financial abuse of others funds. My business was set up by attorneys to protect myself, my clients, my employees, and my vendors. I never thought I would have to call upon them for this reason. Im not going to be silent. I will continue to allow others who have been victimized to join in. Message me. Remaining silent only allows their unethical and financial abuse to continue.Ive recorded every call and its the same runaround. I did get a callback today after going on social media, but the same excuses. This time, I was told that this particular person would specifically handle my claim. I never got a call back after being told they would go to their head to get this resolved.Their latest excuse was about chargebacks. Have you not read the thread attached to my ticket number? I have submitted invoices, order confirmations, shipment confirmations, and delivery proofs, along with pictures of delivery. I work in a customized industry, and there are no chargebacks. If an error is made, it is replaced. This is stated on the invoicing, so their claim was just another excuse.

No email notifications warning you of your upcoming renewal. If you sign on for 3 years and you forget after 3 years they don't tell you. Then they charge your card and no phone number to call have to send a message to get an agent to call you. Then they tell you that they don't refund domains????? How is this allowed? After 3 years and you aren't using a website anymore how can they just take your money? You have to submit a refund request, and guess how long it takes to get your decision....12 business days! Then IF they decide you are worthy, they then say it's another 7 business days to get your money back. I cannot believe a company in the *** is allowed to keep peoples money for a service they did not provide!

There is no customer service. I actually had to snail mail them when I had an issue and never got a response. I ended up in a credit card dispute with them as they charged me for my subscription before the date they said they would. I had been planning to cancel. It was a nightmare. I switched to Squarespace and found it much better in several ways! I do NOT recommend Wix.com

Every step of the way has been a problem. Their software is littered with bugs. Their dev team will even tell you that the bugs are actually "as designed" (an example would be anchors on a web page that don't actually anchor to the page. That is the entire purpose, stick to a spot in the page so you can link to that exact spot). Final straw is my site has incorrectly calculated shipping for over 2 months now, that I'm aware of. That's just how long since I discovered the issue. There has been no resolutions and they refuse to refund me for the time me e-commerce store has been completely useless as I can not sell when shipping is way off. Don't use Wix. Their system is buggy, their support is subpar, and there are just better options out there.

I was emailed to do a a FritoLay Affliate Advertising on my van for $920 biweekly income. Sounded real good at first...After reading a few reviews, I'm NOT doing business with them. I can't believe how many of you fell for their gimmick without reading reviews.

I had a Wix basic blog account in 2020-2021 and closed my account because I wasn't using it. A Wix charge appeared on my credit card last month for over six hundred dollars. I immediately disputed it and now Wix is countering.I have been unable to contact anyone at ***, which continues to tell me to sign in to my account to reach customer service. Well I don't have an account do I? And when I try to sign in with my old information, they inform me my account is closed. What in the actual is going on?
