As courtesy the no-show fee has been refunded. Cancelations need to happen 24 hours ahead. The visit purchase is non-refundable. On the screen for Registered Dietician visits, one specifically selects the number of visits to purchase and it states "billed today", then the button to purchase says "Purchase visits".

Weight watchers is charging me for a service plan that I never signed up for. I received an email stating I would be charged $119 for the first month and then $179 per month for a medication weight loss plan if I did not cancel by 4/4, and yet I have not so much as had even an appointment with their medical staff from Sequence.I called WW customer services prior to the date of the charges to occur and they told me the only way I could get out the plan (which I didnt sign up for) was to contact my bank and report fraud. I am unwilling to do that since it disrupts all my online banking to change account numbers and they need to cancel it on their end.I told weight watchers when I follow the link provided in the email to cancel my plan online, that the link just takes me to a sign up template, indicating I dont have a plan. They couldnt find evidence of me having a plan, yet they could see they were going to bill me. I asked them to cancel all data relating to me, they agreed and put in a ticket to cancel last week, and yet just this weekend and this morning I receive more emails wanting me to ensure I get my appointment set up and start receiving medication. I dont want this service, I never signed up for this service, and I want it cancelled and any pending charges cancelled or refunded. The email address they are sending this to is ****************************Business Response

On February 21, 2025 I signed up for Weight Watchers Clinic with the goal of getting my weight loss medication cheaper through their compounding pharmacy. I was dissatisfied with their service because their nurse practitioner was suggesting I change to other medications that would be detrimental to my health due to other underlying conditions (of which they were made aware). On February 26, 2025 I cancelled the service but was told that it would not be effective until February 2026 and I was obliged to pay them for 1 year's service. This was never made clear when I signed up for the service and I signed no contract stating any such thing. I informed the Care Coordinator ******* that I did not trust them as a medical provider since the suggested medications would have been detrimental to my health. I told them that I formally withdrew my consent for them to medically care for me which would make me unfit to continue with their program. They still would not cancel the monthly charges. I would like them to cancel these charges immediately and never charge or contact me again.Business Response

The response you provided is incorrect. I went back through your questionnaire for membership to check. The page with choices for membership do not mention anything about cancellation, there was nothing outlined in boldit was actually in very tiny print on the bottom of the payment page after everything is already filled in and submittedReally deceptive! There was no check box as you indicated.
As for the other valuable services that you offer: on their own they would be way cheaper than what you keep trying to charge me. As I have already stated, I do not feel comfortable with the knowledge and expertise of your Clinicians since the one that was assigned to me offered alternative medications that would be detrimental to my health! Why on earth would I trust you after that?! I will not pay for medical services that are untrustworthy. In order for the BBB to appropriately process your response, you MUST answer the question above.

I enrolled in a Weight Watchers medication program. I completed the enrollment process, submitted medical history and completed the instructional video, classes for medication. Was selected, chose my preferred medication and charged appropriately. After consultation and additional medical documentation, the clinician decided I was not eligible for the program. I requested a cancelation and was told I could cancel but was still responsible for the monthly payment. I was finally downgraded to the online Weight Watchers regular membership. I was refunded a small portion of my initial payment. I am now locked into a monthly membership and not given what I was initial approved for and would like a refund and FULL Cancelation of ALL WW services.Business Response

This member initially signed up for a 12-month commitment plan. However, because she didn't qualify for the weight loss medication, her membership was adjusted to a Core membership with a significantly reduced monthly fee of $8 per month.
We have processed an additional partial refund, bringing the total refund amount to $95, which covers the cost of the medication she didn't receive.

I was going to use Weight Watchers Clinic to use Weight Loss medication. But, changed my mind, because I had gallbladder surgery in February & thought it wasnt wise to do this.. You have 72 hrs to change your mind and on the web their ads say you can cancel at any time. So, I did. But, they still want to charge me $49 dollars a month for a year . That is wrong! No one gave e a consultation or meds , no one got back to me within the 72 hrs so I could cancel. And no one would give me their address to file a complaint. They told me they wouldnt discuss the matter any more . They have deceptive practicesBusiness Response

Weight watchers added a feature where you can access clinic services. I signed up for the clinic services in Jan 20th, 2025 because Weight Watchers advertises that you can get GLP-1 covered by insurance. I have ****, so I signed up for the 1-year commitment with the intention of having this covered by insurance. The first month was a special rate of $49 and then $74 per month for the next 11 months. I was billed the $49 and accessed the clinic. I was approved for Wegovy. When I tried to pick up the prescription from the pharmacy and the cost was $500 out of pocket AFTER the manufacturers coupon- I cannot afford this. I messaged weight watchers on 2/8/2025 requesting to cancel, which was very early on and within the first month of the introductory price to request to cancel. I asked if they could cancel and not further bill me because I am unable to use the clinic features I am paying for. They refused to cancel, offering me the oral weight loss medication, *********. I am a Registered Nurse and expressed I do not want to take this medication and I am very informed what this oral medication does. I also expressed that I am within my patient rights to refuse a medication. I don't think the limited (if any) weight loss benefits of taking ********* outweighs the risks. I feel they did not listen and tried to force this on me twice, while stating I am not going to be able to cancel my commitment because I have access to clinic features. Again, I expressed that I am unable to utilize the clinic features. The benefits of the clinic features is to have access to a clinician while talking GLP-1 medications to monitor potential signs and symptoms. If Weight Watchers is taking on the role as a healthcare provider, this is a completely unethical practice railroad patients into taking a medication they have explicitly expressed they do not want to take and using that as leverage to deny cancellation.Business Response

I typically paid $16-25 a month for Weight Watchers, but decided to shift to the clinical side/ including medication. This was a six month commitment from October 2024 to April 2025. I paid $149 in October and $237.31 in November. I informed them that the first week the medication made a difference, but after that, I felt no change. I again felt no change in November and canceled in December. I no longer was going to be using any medication and wanted to revert back to $16/mono clinical. I said $134 is a lot of money to pay monthly for no reason.$134 came out of my account December-January- February and March 2025. Very unhappy with this company because I felt that if they were giving a product that was not working, they should allow you out of that contract. Even when I texted to the clinical team answers were always standard and not personal. Since then Ive been hearing that this happens to many people with Weight Watchers, which is the reason I turned to the Better Business Bureau.I feel I should get a refund for the 4 months after I cancelled -$536Business Response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:When I found that the medication had no effect on me, I wanted to go back to the basic program that I have been with for years. I feel it is a scam to keep charging the $134 when no benefit is being offered on the clinical side if meds are ineffective. I paid <$20 monthly for years for the exact same service. Absolute rip off of hard earned money-from long time customer. Very poor business- not to mention that my messages were never personally answered- but rather just prewritten general replies. I am discouraged about this entire process, and felt I should have been able to be released from clinic when meds did not have effect on me. This was a huge waste of hard earned money- which is why so many feel it is a scam. I 100% agree-and never would have joined if I had read those reviews. But I do not wish to continue to go back and forth rehashing the same experience with a company like this.

I was inquiring about weight loss medications through WW clinic, formerly Weight Watchers. Upon signing up through the WW Android app, I paid $49 that was discounted for medical review. It was made to seem that I would be able to choose whether I wanted to pursue after review and the meds offered. However, after the review and suggested medications is when the ACTUAL price was made known. Initially, it was shown as an additional $55 per month for ***********, when signing up. AFTER review and being told I signed into a 12 month contract, even though I will not be utilizing their meds, it then also became known that for a certain medication the charge would be a range that could be a $300 difference each month and there was no way to know what the price would be each month. Even the cheaper medication did not end up being $55 per month. After the review, the actual price was revealed as more than $189 per month, plus $79 per month for a clinic fee. With that all being said, please know that it takes a long time to get any response from anyone in the care team. So, if there was a medical issue with anything, I would have to wait for possibly days for any resolution. My health coverage will cover weight loss clinic. Plus, it was also revealed, after the fact, that there could be a possible shortage of medication and I would not receive it. Meds should not be stopped abuptly. I have not received anything medical, no medications, no services from this company. WW is not making it known up front as to what the actuality of their clinic program is until after you get the review done and then they state that you are contractually bound. Even though they were not upfront on their end. I asked them to cancel everything and they are refusing, even though I have not received anything from them and have not received any service or merchandise. Every communication takes 24 hours for response each time. I am asking for contract cancellation within a week/half of the start.Business Response

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:Thank you for the refund and canceling my membership. I will assume there will be no further clinic charges monthly. However, it's looking as though I'll be charged $10 per month for three months, possibly for the remainder of my original WW plan. It states to cancel this if I no longer want charged after three months. But, when you canceled, I no longer have access to anything in WW and my original sign on does not work. How do I get back in there? I showed i have a message from WW international, the clinic portion, but I cannot access to read it. And can't access the original WW plan now.
Thank you for your response and I do really appreciate the WW international (clinic) being canceled with no further charges. I just now need to get access back to the original WW.

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID# ********, and have determined that my complaint has NOT been resolved because:I am no longer using the services and was denied medical care by WeightWatchers. If my medical care were not denied, I would still be using the service. Where I am no longer being provided medical care, I am not being provided a service. I am not receiving any goods for what I am paying. Because of this, spending $99 a month does not serve me and only the business and is abusive to the consumer. Again, I was denied medical care by WeightWatchers and would still be using the service if I was not denied this care meaning they also refuse to deliver services to me. This means I am paying $99 for nothing due to the companys actions.

April 2, 2025 I signed contract for WW clinic for 12 months with glp1 medication. Within seconds my first payment was taken, I began signing up for verification and was abruptly halted due to having an expired ID. No mention of needing identification for the program, however it makes sense. I am unable to aquire new identification for almost a month out and was told identification is required and I could just use my passport. I don't have a passport. The fact that I explained my issue within minutes of signing up and immediately refused the contract ******************** is MIND BOGGLING! I didn't use the services for an extended amount of time, I didn't have buyers remorse, I quite literally was unable to sign in or update anything until this verification process was completed and I requested the transaction to be refunded immediately. I am planning on using the service once all ducks are in a row and I have valid identification to complete my sign up process, but until then I refuse to be charged for a full month tied to a contract that is unable to be upheld by either party. This is ludicrous that it has not been resolved.Business Response
