Theivery!! You cannot cancel your subscription if you change your mind or if you become unemployed or even probably if you die!! Youre a prisoner because of their unfair agreement!!No one should gave to pay for a service they are no longer using If I want to cancel my subscription I should be able to and not have to pay for continual access until the agreement is finished If I wanted continued access I would be requesting to csncel!CLASS ACTION LAWSUIT!!!WW

On our website, one must specifically select the plan one wants. The longer the duration selected, the more reduced the price is. This membership was signed up for on 1/15/24 and is a 10-month plan at $10 per month. Our cancel Terms are very clearly stated on the website. In fact, during the sign up process, there is a box that must be checked before submitting that has two short paragraphs and in bold it states While you may cancel your subscription at any time, cancellation will not go into effect until the end of your Commitment Plan. After submitting, the next screen says Welcome to the Community and under Order Confirmation it shows again that same paragraph with the canceling message in bold. And yet again, it is in the sign up receipt email. This member spoke with our **************** team on 3/3/24 and as a one time courtesy was let out of the commitment and her plan was set to cancel at the end of the pre-paid month, on 3/15/24.Review fromSamaria D

1 starThis company charged me for many months after I tried to log in and cancel my account. I didn't even realize I had an account. When I logged in it said I had no subscription. I followed the instructions provided by Weight Watchers to cancel, but there was no where to cancel because it said I didn't have any services. I tried to call but got a hold of no one. I called in a few months later and was told I couldn't get a refund. I was transferred to ****** (I don't know if this is the correct spelling of her name) in the Customer *********************** I told her that I tried to cancel months ago and could not and that I could get in my account but there was nothing to cancel and I didn't have any services but I was still being charged. She said she couldn't give me a refund because I did have an active account. I explained several times that when I got into my account there was no subscription and I couldn't use the app and that I had been paying for something for months that I couldn't have even used if I wanted to. She said there was another account associated with my email address, however I never saw this aother account and when I logged in I never saw anything else. How could I know about this other account? She was adamant that there would be no refund and refused to tell me the WW refund policy when I asked, she said it just depends. I told her it wasn't right to charge people for a service that you're not providing. I asked to speak to someone above her she said that she was the highest level of support and I couldn't speak to anyone else. She then said she could help me get into my account and see that it is active. I asked her what about our conversation made her think I would want to log in or use their service? This was a terrible experience and it is a shame. They charged me for something they never provided. I feel like this company was not always like this. All I wanted was a refund for this. Don't give this company your credit card.Review fromEva R

I was considering joining WW for a while so, was getting their emails. Now, I am losing weight by myself and want to cancel my email subscription. I clicked on my last email from them but, there is no "unsubscribe" button. I spent, I don't know, how much of my very limited time, following their instructions on how to unsubscribe, with no success! As far as I can remember, this is the only company which doesn't have a simple "unsubscribe" button on their emails. Very frustrating!! I also read the part, where it says, "Your subscription won't be canceled until your membership cancels", I never even joined WW!!WW

We regret this person has had such a difficult time with this. We will get her fully unsubscribed. We simply ask for patience as this could take 4 to 6 weeks since our marketing emails are prebatched.Review fromNoel A

1 starWARNING! If you cancel the program make sure you get a cancellation email and save it. I didn't do that or deleted it because I cancelled so long ago, I trusted WW to actually cancel my subscription after I paid them for 6 months and got nothing in return. The program has changed since it's beginning days and does not work for me. I realized early on and cancelled. Fully aware I would have to continue to pay them every month for the next 6 months, and quite angry at myself for agreeing to such terms, I cancelled early on into my subscription so I wouldn't forget, I guess after my 6 months commitment, they felt they hadn't gotten enough money out of me so without any notification or warning email from Weight Watchers, they rolled me over and started charging me full price. They refuse to refund my money stating I have no proof of my cancellation yet they have no proof of warning me my membership was ending and would be rolling over at a higher cost. The original founders of WW were interested in helping you loose weight. This is no longer the case, they are only interested into tricking you out of your money and forcing you to pay for a program that doesn't work and then using their crappy terms and conditions to hold you to it. If after reading all the reviews complaining basically about the same thing, and you still want to join, I suggest you take the advice of one reviewer and use a prepaid debit card. That way, once it runs out they can no longer charge you for a service you don't use or do not want. WW should be reported to the attorney generals office for fraudulent practices. Final pieced of advice. You don't need to pay for a diet. Get a good FREE calorie counter and follow that.Review fromDr Lynette G

1 starI signed up a few weeks before Thanksgiving. What was I thinking!? I called to tell W.W. I wanted to quit the program until Spring. They said the contract I agreed to would be enforced. (Did I read all the fine print? No. Were some of the statements that they said were in bold understandable? No! Rather, easy to misconstrue.) Essentially they told me it says they will give NO REFUNDS what so ever. I told them I NEVER used their service. For that, I would be billed monthly to my credit card until the end of February....FOR NOTHING! After reading other posts, below, I see I am not the only one.I told them their business practices are not the least bit understanding but instead exceptionally cold-hearted and greedy. So here is one more complaint to add to the pile of others. I will take as many opportunities as possible, on-line, among club members, within organizations, my business, etc., etc. to spread the word: DO NOT WORK WITH WEIGHT WATCHERS! -AVOID them. -There are a lot of other helpful services with better business practices. Question, with 89 reviews and a rating of 1.2 stars, why does WW have an A grade? It should be an F-THE BOTTOM LINE IS THEY ARE NOT CUSTOMER ORIENTED BUT RATHER INFLEXIBLE, UNCOOPERATIVE AND LACK THE ABILITY TO EXTEND COMMON CUSTOMER SERVICE .... WITH AN APPARENT INTEREST IN KEEPING MONEY ....and CURRYING SOME PROFITS AT THE EXPENSE OF CUSTOMERS WHO NEED ASSISTANCE. I don't give a rat's r***** what kind of a reply they respond with. There is NO EXCUSE for treating clients so poorly. It's not like I've never worked with other businesses in my 77 years. This is the worst customer service I have EVER encountered. Period!! As a business minor, I assure you, they need to revise and enhance policy within customer service.Review fromLeigh C

I cancelled this on January 2, **** and received the email confirmation. On January 17, ****, I was charged $10.65 for monthly membership fees.I called Weight Watchers phone support (the only way to get support). The service representative told me that I entered into a 10 month agreement. I am unhappy with this service and not using it. My understanding was that I was on a month-to-month contract with WW, so I asked the representative to email me proof of a 10-month agreement. Representative said it was in my email inbox from September, but I do not have that email. I said I do not have it, but phone support person continued to say I already have it when I asked her more than once to please send it again. The phone representative was rude and talked over me and raised her voice several times. I did not at any point get rude with her as I know this is not her fault. She was clearly reading a script. I am unhappy with this service, not using it, and never agreed to pay for 10 months. I wasn't even sure about it when I signed up, so I don't believe I signed up for 10 months. If there is something saying I signed up for 10 months, then it was not clear in the sign-up process. I would like my membership canceled in full, my January payment refunded, and for Weight Watchers to make it clear that people are signing up for a 10-month membership. If I did indeed do that, then Weight Watchers should easily be able to send me the agreement I signed up for when requested. There is nothing in my inbox from the September date the representative told me to look for.WW

I returned to WW after a few months, weighed in on 12/16 and I was told that I had to be enrolled in a plan in order for my account to be reactivated. I was even told what plan would be best. On 12/22 I joined weighed in again on 12/23 my account still wasn't changed back to Lifetime. Was told it had to be done in a Studio. Weighed in on Jan 6 and was told it was done. Sat evening I was told it would take up to 24 hrs. to show on my end that I was Lifetime but reps could see my account reflected Lifetime. Signed in tonight 01/09 still showing premium. Chatted via messenger and was told 3 different things. I made a response on a WW post on ******** , in the post I mentioned that I was going to close my account and I had sent an email, the person behind the chat took it upon themselves to close my account without even verifying if it was really me! I want my $$ back that I was promised., Why did I have to sign up with a plan just to prove I was at my goal weight when weighing in could have simply proven that at well! I am sick and tired of the run around and excuses WW gives. I need someone to contact me ASAP as I did not give permission for my account to be closed via ********.WW

I hope you like your Weight Watchers subscription, because you will have it until you die or run out of funds. It is harder than an escape room to cancel your subscription. They "no longer monitor" their customer service email. This seems like a perfect opportunity for a class action lawsuit!WW

On our website, one must specifically select the plan one wants. The longer the duration selected, the more reduced the price is. This membership was signed up for on 7/9/23 and is a 10-month plan at $10 per month. The member self-canceled on 11/9/23 and per the terms, the cancelation will go into effect at the end of the 10 months, on 5/7/24. This end date is also shown in the cancelation confirmation email.Review fromEmily S

1 starTried to cancel on DAY 4 of my membership because I was unable to get my claim processed to be reimbursed through work. They told me since I was outside of day 3 I could no longer cancel until my 6 months was up. So very frustrating and I feel that customer service was rude and not helpful at all. Also I signed up on a Friday. So my 3 days was over a weekend, you would think that with it being a business they would go by business days.
