Weight Watcher just ripped me off for five months. I signed up for 3 months, called at the end of those 3 months to confirm that was all I was signed up for, and they agreed. I just realized that they continued to bill me for 5 more months. When I called to ask about it they told me that I had to request a cancellation form and they would not refund the additional charges. Stay away from this extremely dishonest business. How many bad reviews about their dishonest billing system do they need to receive before they take accountability for their wrongdoing? Horrible business. I would leave no stars, but they even force you to select one before you can leave a review.

This is the biggest headache. Upon joining, I tried to cancel my free trial multiple times before going into the Full Commitment and they were IMPOSSIBLE to get a hold of. Once I finally got a hold of someone via their app, they let me know that I am in 10 month long "commitment." Upon telling them that I do not authorize them charging my card, they are still doing so. I'm not aware if they know that when someone tells you they do not authorize you to charge their card and you still do it, it is called FRAUD. I was threatened with going into collection which is impossible since they do not have my SS number. I told them today once more to not charge my card anymore, that I do not authorize it and the representative told me they will continue to do so until FEB ****. I requested to be cancelled a few months ago and they only sent the cancellation email today. I am requesting for a full refund, as I tried to cancel 2 days after joining. I will never revisit WW as an option and I highly advise others the same.

If I could give zero stars I would. My wife and I both signed up. I lost she didn't. I tried to cancel and they said they would charge until the contract was over regardless that it wasn't working or right for us. This was after they gave a so called free trial and extension that pushes your contract date out further so you wind up paying more if it doesn't work. It's weight loss, and not all plans don't work for everyone...that's what they are counting on. It is a marketing scam. Not a real helpful program. We even bought their fake, low calorie foods too. We gave an honest effort and when went back, they said to bad pay for the 3-4 months you won't be using ever....

On our website, one must specifically select the plan one wants. The longer the duration selected, the more reduced the price is. These are both 10 month subscriptions at a very reduced price. Our cancel Terms are very clearly stated on the website. In fact, during the sign up process, there is a box that must be checked before submitting that has two short paragraphs and in ******* states While you may cancel your subscription at any time, cancellation will not go into effect until the end of your Commitment Plan. After submitting, the next screen says Welcome to the Community and  under Order Confirmation it shows again that same paragraph with the canceling message in bold. And yet again, it is in the sign up receipt email.

This is the most difficult company to contact. *** tried to cancel multiple times and they refuse to send me any documentation of the so-called agreement that I signed. I havent received an email confirming my cancellation. I originally signed up on a trial for $5/month for 3-months. I canceled before the trial ended so that they wouldnt continue billing. Since they cant provide documentation showing that I signed up for 6-months at $23/month after the initial trial, I have had to dispute the charges with my bank. Buyer Beware with WW.

This membership was signed up for on 7/21/23. It is not a trial membership. It is a 6-month commitment plan with the first three months at a reduced price of $5 each month and the remaining three months at the regular price of $23 each month. Our cancel Terms are very clearly stated on the website. In fact, during the sign up process, there is a box that must be checked before submitting that has two short paragraphs with the membership terms and in bold it states While you may cancel your subscription at any time, cancellation will not go into effect until the end of your Commitment Plan. After submitting, the next screen says Welcome to the Community and  under Order Confirmation it shows again that same paragraph with the canceling message in bold. And yet again, it is in the sign up receipt email. Our records indicate this email was received and opened on the sign up date of 7/21/23.

USE A PREPAID DEBIT CARD if you sign up w/ WW. DO NOT GIVE THEM YOUR CREDIT CARD INFO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!I don't know what is going on with Weight Watchers. They changed to a horrible plan that caused a mass exodus of their membership. It was such a disaster that they got a new CEO and went back to their old plan, so I decided to give them a second chance. (Or a 50th chance. I've been on and off WW for decades.) Rejoining was a huge mistake. A couple of weeks after I signed back up, they changed their app and it's a monstrosity now. Earning a blue dot was the best and most motivating feature of their app. They took the blue dots off the home page and moved them to a different page. And my app started malfunctioning as soon as I got the update. Clearly, they aren't doing any user testing or getting feedback from their members before implementing major changes. They keep irritating their customers. I wanted to get out of my 6 month commitment plan, but of course, WW is trying to hold on to the few members who decided to stick around, so they wouldn't let me out of my contract. While looking online to see who else hates the new update, I saw that several members complained that WW keeps charging them after they cancel. So I looked back at my statements from when I joined last year and realized that they also charged me for two months after I cancelled. I had already gotten my money back for one month, but I didn't realize they charged me for a second month!!! After chatting with customer service for over an hour and speaking to 3 people, I got my money back - only because I could prove that I had already cancelled 6 months in advance. And even with that, the supervisor didn't want to give me a refund. I can't wait until my contract is over. I'm so over this company. Word to the wise: WW has turned into kind of a sleazy company. If you decide to sign up with them, I highly suggest you USE A PREPAID DEBIT CARD to prevent them from continuing to charge you!!!

Please do not counsel me on how the return policy works. I first joined WW in ****. I'm well aware of how to cancel a membership. It seems that YOU are not. After I signed up for my commitment plan, I immediately cancelled because I didn't want to be charged once my commitment period ended. I have the email confirmation showing that I immediately cancelled. So imagine my surprise when I was charged $44.95 after my $10/mo promo ended. I called customer service and got a refund for the month. He cancelled my membership again, since my cancellation never went through. I didn't notice until several months later that WW charged me AGAIN after I got the refund. I just noticed a few weeks ago. I did a chat with WW on Oct 22, which was infuriating. I talked to several reps and a supervisor and the supervisor still didn't want to give me my money back even after I proved to him that I did cancel before my commitment period. After over an hour on chat, I finally got approved to get my money back. I was told to wait 5-7 business days. After 7 days with no refund, I called the 800 number and was told it's actually an **** business day wait for refunds. So clearly, WW employees aren't even on the same page about their own refund policy. When 10 business days passed and I still had no refund, I called back and talked to two reps who were both unable to help me. I was finally transferred to the ******************* I was told that because so many days had passed, only the ************ could issue my refund. I FINALLY got my refund on Nov 4. I would love to know what part of my review was "misinformation." The new WW app IS terrible, as can be seen by the many 1 star reviews in the ****** Play store. And when WW charges you after the contract has ended, they make it extremely difficult to get your money back. Everything I said in my review is true and I have all the documentation to back it up. Please use your time and energy to train your employees and come up with a less sleazy billing system, rather than trying to advise me. I stand by my statement that anyone who signs up with WW either needs to use a prepaid card or notify their credit card company that the commitment period has ended and to please block any future charges from WW. Either that, or watch all your future statements like a hawk to make sure you weren't charged.

It's unfortunate that Weight Watchers has such a great name of helping people lose weight however, their business plan does not care about the user one bit. It's about the money. I made an order from their site which included cookbooks. The order was placed on 9/30/23 and I received an email showing an order placed on 10/1/23. Effective 10/1/23 was a promotion on cookbooks at $3.00 each. I was paying $11.51 plus tax. After waiting on hold for 51 minutes - which is another issue because people value their time too - I wanted a credit for the difference. The lady who was nice enough told me I would have to be transferred to the ***************** and that it might take a while before I would get a live person on the phone again. I felt bullied, like if I didn't just accept the fact that I missed out when my order hadn't even shipped, that I would have to continue to wait. A smug but nice enough gentleman got on the phone and had said he had never even heard of a price match that most companies don't do that. Which is ridiculous. I told him I wanted to return the whole order at this point due to principal. He did state that my credit card hold would come off, but as of yet, it has not. I will not order anything from them again. I have never ordered food from them but will continue making my own snacks.

They lock you in to a commitment plan with only 3 day trial period. And then refuse to allow you to quit and instead charge for months at a time. I got locked into 10months but they also could not provide proof of my electronic agreement. I will be taking this up with my bank.

This is scam behavior by weight watchers, I should be able to cancel regardless of the commitment. I am not using it, I do not see the value it has changed since I first started using it and I do not like the current program so I would very much like to cancel my membership and not keep getting charged for the next 5 months so they can get $115.00 in profit. They know the program is not the same and for them to have such a faulty cancellation policy shows they know the program is not worth committing to and they are forcing us to keep the membership.
