    We were traveling with another couple (life-long friends) on an extended cruise. About 2 months before our cruise the husband of the other couple suffered a major stroke and was hospitalized. Their doctor strictly forbade their cruise, and they subsequently filed their claim with *** and received their refund expeditiously. We filed our claim since we had been on 2 prior cruises to the same destination, and we had made their reservations along with ours, and used our credit card to make their reservations. *** reviewed our claim and agreed that since we had been on 2 previous cruises to the same destination and had made all the other couple's reservations that we were, indeed, "traveling partners", and were eligible for a refund of our cruise. Both couples only lost the cost of the travel insurance fees we paid to Aon to insure our trip.

    We received a full reimbursement towards a Road Scholar trip to ***********. My wife had emergency hip surgery three weeks before our planned departure. The online claim form requested documentation of hospitalization and follow care and was processed within 10 days of being submitted.

    We purchased the coverage from the cruisline and had to use the medical devices onboard while cruising. Both the appointment, doctors exam and prescriptions were charged on our credit card Excellent fast efficient service. Cant believe I got my check for full payment in the mail sent to ****** in less than 2 weeks of submitting the claim. Thank you so much.

    We canceled our cruise one week prior to departure due to an urgent medical issue requiring surgery. Our travel agent provided the link to submit our claim and we proceeded filing the claim online. Claim required little effort on our part and approval and payment was timely. Entire process from start to finish was approximately 2 weeks.

    This travel insurance company is unbelievably fast and accurate. Twelve hours before we were to get on a cruise to ****** I was in the ** with a heart problem. I called the company on Monday and the next week my refund was in my checking account. The plane fair refund was posted to my credit card even faster.

    I have bought AON travel insurance with all cruises and have been fortunate with claims twice. It does take time and a little work but they did cover the medical bills and travel arrangements that incurred after an illness on board ship. Would not travel without.
