    I was pleased with the quick processing of my claim and refund. I expected the worse, and was pleasantly surprised with the ease of filing my claim. After planning a cruise for two years, a sudden health issue arose two weeks from departure. Thank goodness we had the insurance. ***'s processing helped relieve some of the stress rather than add to it. I would definitely recommend Aon for all future travel arrangements.

    This has to be the ************* Ever they have you purchase Travel protection and then don't honor the Contract. I purchased this insurance for myself, daughter and grandson. When I tell you it has been a roller coaster trying to get my money back from this company. I paid ******** for the trip. I work for the federal government and because of the disaster in *****, we are being deployed. I provided them with the travel documents the emails along with the date, time and location. The representative advised me that they only deal with military disaster when this was mandated by the military. They have yet allowed me to speak with someone in the corp office and *** sent an email saying military travel is the only way they would pay. I really need some assistance with this matter. When I initially signed up they never told me this. I keep reaching out to ***.

    My wife and I had to cancel our much anticipated ****** cruise approximately 2 weeks prior to scheduled departure due to medical reasons. After we submitting the required forms, AON promptly issued us a refund without any problems.

    My partner and I paid Celebrity Cruises $4291.34 for an 8 day cruise flying from ******* to Ft Lauderdale on 9/7/2024. The amount included $248.00 for travel insurance paid to AON Affinity Travel Protection Plan. Celebrity Cruises personnel booked our flight times and all itinerary for the trip. The flight was 3 hours late leaving *******; therefore, we missed boarding the ship in *************. Since Celebrity booked our entire trip, the airline deferred me back to them to handle all issues. During this stressful and frustrating time, we attempted to coordinate next steps with Celebrity. Some of the ships staff in their emergency flight **** were very RUDE and ABRUPT with me on the phone - they made the situation 10 times more stressful than it should have been! Celebrity subsequently fly us to the ships 1st port - however, the issue with this was the Celebrity Beyond cruise ship did not arrive at the port until 3 days later. Celebrity paid for our lodging however we had to pay for our meals etc (also paid by us, luggage bags at alternative airport in *****, taking us to 1st port in *****). We missed 3 days of pre-paid cruising time which included meals and entertainment. After returning from the cruise, i contacted Celebrity to inquire about being reimbursed for our meals in the amount of $399.11. We also requested to be refunded for the 3 days of cruising we paid for and missed. After being bounced from **** to **** within Celebrity, we were told to submit a claim with their travel company, ***. At the end of their review, AON ONLY offered us $42.73 each. We paid AON travel insurance to protect us from incurring financial losses due to trip interruption however, they refuse to pay us for our out of pocket expenses for meals or for 3 days we missed cruising on the ship.We lost 3 days of cruising and also lost additional monies to cover meals we had already paid for on the cruise ship. We paid $4291.34 for an 8 day cruise however only had 5 days of cruising.

    We had to cancel our trip because my sister diagnose with Cancer. They were able to help us right away and paperwork was easy to complete, and process was smooth.

    I am usually suspicious of trip insurance, but I sure am glad that I purchased this policy. I had to miss a tour that I booked with Road Scholar. This was a rather sudden illness, so I only gave Road Scholar a 2-day notice. It took a while to gather all of the paperwork and submit it for processing. The process was a bit cumbersome, but I understand that it takes some time and effort to gather all of the necessary information. All of the people that I dealt with were courteous and helpful. The entire trip cost was refunded to me. I would gladly get AON travel insurance again.

    We encoutered a last minute illness that prevented us from going on a cruise. Aon's website provided clear instructions on how to submit a claim and what is required. We followed their requirements carefully and thoroughly. We received notice within a few days and received payment about two weeks later. We are very satisfied with Aon.
