    We received all refundable money. The only thing we paid was the premium for the insurance itself. The insurance delivered exactly what our expectations were when we purchased it. The premium is inexpensive compared to the service and the promptness of the payment of the claim.

    My husband dislocated his shoulder and broke three ribs four days before we were to depart for our cruise. We had purchased the travel insurance through our travel agent. I contacted our agent immediately and she sent me the link to apply for the refund. I think I spent a total of 2 hours getting the requested paperwork gathered and uploading it to the link. We received our refund about a week later! Awesome. I expected to have to argue with the company to get our refund but there was no issue. I found the whole process pretty easy (although I do think their website could be a little more user-friendly). Getting the refund so quickly made a stressful situation just a little bit better.

    My wife and I had to cancel a 14 day cruise we had scheduled 6 months earlier due my hospitalization due to a myocardial infarction (heart attack) one week prior to our departure date. Application for insurance refund was very straightforward and quickly accomplished by our PVP, complete refund of all cruise expenses prepaid was done in a timely manner. Very pleased with insurance and the process to request refund due to eligible circumstances.

    They were awesome! ....everyone should take it .., caught COVID- 19 on a cruise...(next to last day)...cruise ship charges were $9,405 for one day!!! *** paid it all so we had no out of pocket!!

    *** was professional and efficient handling trip reimbursement involving a Tauck cruise cancellation secondary to a medical issue that occurred close to our departure date. My husband and I found the claims process to be straightforward and seamless. Based on our experience I would highly recommend AON Travel Insurance.

    *** customer service was wonderful and very patient. I did have to call a couple times to clarify my claim, however both times, the representatives were polite, understanding and addressed my concerns.

    We were very happy with Aon. Our trip going to ****** got delayed requiring an overnight in ******* resulting in loss of one full day of vacation. We got reimbursed easily for delay of trip, delay of all our luggage for 3 days, resulting in needing reimbursement for buying clothes, toiletries etc., unused hotel and transfers. It was pretty easy to upload receipts, boarding passes etc. We received deposits for all in less than 30 days.

    This is the worst protection plan I've ever encountered. It's just a set up to capture money from unsuspecting travelers who believe they are buying travel protection insurance. I recently paid for a trip for my daughter and I to take a Carnival Cruise for her birthday. I paid for the trip and the insurance at the same time on 6/3/24 (no payment plans). My daughter became ill/was hospitalized on 6/10/24 - 6/24/24. The cruise was scheduled for 6/20-6/24. I am well aware that I was too close within the time frame to Cancel through Carnival Cruise line, but that's why I thought I was buying Aon trip protection insurance for unforeseen issues that arise afterwards. Well, first, I was given the run around that others have mentioned. They sent documents out that never arrived at the destination. I finally asked for the documents be sent to me via email, and I forwarded them on to the doctor/hospital. I finally receive a letter 11/24/24 that says they won't pay because: "We have determined, according to the restrictions set forth in the Carnival Cancellation Fee Waiver Program, that we are unable to provide a cash refund of your prepaid cruise vacation cost. ********************* does not waive its standard cancellation provision nor provide a cash refund of the otherwise non-refundable value of your unused cruise vacation should you cancel due to a condition that first presents, worsens, becomes acute or has symptoms causing a person to seek a diagnosis, care or treatment, or prompts a change in medication, during the 60 days before the Cancellation Fee Waiver Program is purchased." Isn't this why I bought the insurance to cover me because the Cruise line's Cancellation may not? I bought it at the same time I paid for the cruise, if it wasn't valid at the time I paid for the cruise, why did they sell it to me? Why else would I need the protection.I would advice traveler against Aon. They are deceptive. They cause more heartache and stress than the life event does.

    Aon has completely given my family and I the run around about give us our money back from a cruise that we missed because of a death of a very close family member that passed unexpectedly days before our cruise. Some of the party was given a refund after 3 weeks and some were still denied money even after sending in the exact same paper work and being in the same relation (aunt) to the deceased. It has been a nightmare to say the least!!!

    We had to cancel our trip because my wife developed a new medical problem. The paperwork was easy. The form they asked my doctor to fill out was straight forward. The company refunded the cost of the trip for my wife and me as well as our son and his spouse.
