    Totally useless..... put in claim 5 months ago...they keep telling me soon... but they grabbed my premium in seconds. They are crooks

    WORST, HORRIBLE, AWFUL - AON Affinity Travel still haven't processed our claims for 2 lost luggages since July 2022. We purchased this insurance through NCL for cruise that sailed from ***. 'Continuously had to call Aon for updates & with the same no-progress-answer, that they are still working on it. Beginning to think it's a SCAM and it's real unfair to those who've bought this insurance. Told NCL never to use AON & NOR SHOULD ANYONE USE AON FOR ANY INSURANCE NEEDS - DO NOT TRUST AON FOR ANYTHING!!

    *** has done everything possible to delay a payout on a legitimate claim. It took over 4 months to collect. Even after AON paid, they rejected certain portions of the claim. Some of the portions were rejected by using broad interpretations of the contract. They did pay 80% of the claim. Their communications with the customer is terrible. If you leave messages or call you get "canned" answers designed to delay the payment. It is almost impossible to reach their claim processing unit. Getting the unit's phone or emails is nearly impossible. After finally getting the manager's email and sending a message, the manager did not directly respond. If you want to hire a company that delays payment, is stingy on their payouts, and fails to communicate with you I recommend AON.

    I went on a cruise and purchased aon travel insurance with trip interruption coverage due to the pandemic status. We went on our cruise and needed up being quarantined due to experience Covid symptoms, event though the onboard test results returned negative. Due to being quarantined we missed two days id the cruise and were not able to use our shuttle back to the airport. On top of this, our flight home was cancelled and we needed to book a bus and take the 6 hour ride back to the airport where our car was, lost our bags for 9 days as well, which contained medications. I did all the leg work and submitted all the documentation they requested. It is going on 4.5 months since the claim has been submitted and still nothing. Every time I reach out they give me a standard response of they are experiencing high volumes and to please allow more time, and never answer my actual questions. Just rephrase and say they are working on it and to allow more time. I have documentation on money that was reimbursed to the cruise line, based on the work I did, and they still will not acknowledge this and have yet to reimburse me. I will never go through aon again, they do not follow through with the coverages you pay for.

    I was unable to complete my travel that was covered by AON Travel Protect.
    The Trip was to Journey to the White Mountains.
    The Dates were Sept. 19-21 2022.
    A Medical event occurred causing myself to be unable to go on the trip.
    The Travel Agency was notified about the Medical Issue and they indicated that I had to file with AON Travel Protect.
    We filed this claim on Sept 20, 2022
    The claim Number is *******.
    AS of Nov. 10, 2022 AON indicates they have ALL of the needed paperwork, and the claim is in process.
    We have placed Multiple Phone Calls to AON with No results.
    We have placed multiple calls to AON, the company indicates they have HIGH Volume.
    At this time we are filing a complaint with the NY BBB against this company.
    Please assist in any way possible.

    My companions and I got Covid-19 a few days before our trip, and I filed a claim with them 10/8. I sent in all the paperwork needed. It has been processing for over a month now. Im not understanding why it takes this long to process a claim. And everytime I call, you get no help. I might as well had not insured my trip. I WILL NEVER USE THIS COMPANY AGAIN. From all the negative reviews I see, they are pure scammers.

    AON is the absolute worst...opened claim back in July. Still waiting for reimbursement for pre hotel stay that we missed due to flight cancellation. We keep getting letters from AON for documentation, but the company we did the trip with is handling our claim. Spoke to them today and they thought we received reimbursement. They are going to contact AON again....Documentation really should not be this hard, just contact the hotel to see if we in fact stayed there. This is ridiculous....left hand does not know what the right hand is doing.....

    This company is a total scam operation. Just look at the reviews below. I've been trying to get a small claim settled with them for months. They are not reachable via email for obvious reasons. They don't want a track record. They put you off on the phone and tell you everything is okay then 6-8 weeks later they send you an email, that does not accept replies, and give you a lame excuse why they can't process the claim. Make sure if you are getting cruise insurance that it is not with AON. They do not pay.
