Who knew this company was rated a D- on the way to a F. I came across their landing page @ 5547825.hs-sites.com to submit my basic information for someone to contact me about the GOVERNMENT RELEIF PROGRAM to receive new HVAC replacement with no out of pocket expense on 6/10. Then the morning of 6/11, I received a text from a rep asking when they could call. Received a call shortly thereafter. The call started off fairly well explaining that my area that I reside in was eligible for the government program and had additional questions about the existing HVAC and what not. Then ask about the homeowners of the home and to my surprise asked about having a least a minimum of a 600 credit score. THAT RIGHT THERE WAS AN IMMEDIATE RED FLAG. If this is a government relief program, why are they asking about CREDIT??? He continued on trying to explain the reasoning for asking that but repeatedly kept saying YES YOU WILL HAVE NO OUT OF POCKET EXPENSE, yada yada yada. The rep proceeded to explain that when the Government gives something, they want something in return. I found that statement a bit odd. Then started talking about the green energy program so we get SOLAR PANELS, I cut him off and said no I am not interested in Solar Panels. That was NOT the purpose of my inquiry. How in the world did we go from Government relief program to getting Solar Panels. To my surprise, the second I said politely "no not interested in any solar panels", the rep hung up!!!! REALLLLYYY. So this WHOLE CHARADE about some government program is just a RUSE to get you wrapped up in some contractual loan obligations that simply has NOTHING to do with getting a HVAC replacement. This company totally misleading with no truth. How this SCAM has been up and running for 10 years is beyond me. Promoting to be connected with government entities to provide such service when they are not should be illegal. They will be reported.

This company is a scam, they are the definition of predatory loan lending. Their sales rep ***** says threat the company can help you apply for a ***** but what they are really doing is using your information to apply for a loan. Stay away from this company.

My 73yo aunt was scammed by Sunco Solar. They came to the door and offered to fix her roof for free if she installed solar panels at a purported cost of $100/month and told her that she would qualify for "senior Citizen" tax credits. Not only did they misquote the cost, they misrepresented the nature of the tax credits and flat out lied that such tax credits exist for senior citizens. the salesman ran a credit check without her express consent or knowledge and tricked her into signing a contract via Docusign on a laptop he carried with him (she is not familiar with e-contracts and was unaware that she was signing a contract. Nor was she provided an opportunity to actually read through the document). One year later, she has received default notices from Enerbank which she had never heard of . She is distraught to find out that she signed for a secured loan against her house for $45,000 with a repayment term of 25 years. As previously stated, she is 73 years old so it is hard to believe that she was actually approved for such a loan term. We are planning to seek legal action because this is clearly fraudulent inducement and they should NOT be doing business.

In 2022, ************************* (****) discussed installing solar panels in my home in ******** (the Property) on behalf of SunCo Solar (SunCo). **** advised that I would be eligible for a State and Federal program (Program) that would allow me to receive a brand-new roof installed at no cost and solar panels for $165/month. **** took a photo of my drivers license to purportedly verify that I am the owner of the Property. He also asked me to complete certain forms on his iPad to confirm that I qualify for the Program. **** never stated that I would be submitting an application for a loan with a financial institution or would require one for the roof and solar panel installation. **** also sent me several text messages confirming that I would be eligible for the Program and paying only $165/month for the panels. I executed a contract with SunCo (SunCo Contract) via Hello Sign using Simss iPad for the roof and solar panels. I received a confirmation email from Hello Sign with the SunCo Contract. Nowhere in the SunCo Contract does it mention I would be applying or seeking a loan with a third-party banking institution, nor does it consent or authorize SunCo or its employees/representatives to apply for a loan on my behalf. I was first made aware of a purported loan with EnerBank when I received an invoice on September 26, 2023. In Dec 2023, I requested and received a copy of the purported contract from EnerBank (EnerBank Contract) via email in the amount of $65,800. This was the first time I saw the EnerBank Contract. I did not execute the EnerBank Contract, nor did I receive a copy of the EnerBank Contract on the date in which it was purportedly executed. Moreover, the EnerBank Contract is not counter executed by EnerBank. I have tried to contact **** and SunCo to discuss this further but have had no response. Also, the solar panels are not even working properly. I have reached out to SunCo several times to have the panels repaired and nothing. Help!
