      Same thing happened to me I ordered a knife then decline extra stuff and somehow I am getting charged ***** a month for skills of science which I have no clue what it even is total on charge card is 76.oo right now I never wanted this and don't even understand how skill of science can legal. Bill people for something they don't want same thing happened to other people something needs to change thank you it say pay shipping and handling and a free knife I bought 2 thought everything was done then seen a requiring change I received the 2 knives but that is all I wanted cancelled credit card filed fraud charges just want charges dismissed thank you. ***************************

      I bought a small knife about a month ago or so and I just saw an unauthorized $57 charge come through. I see people everywhere are having this same problem. I dont appreciate companies being deceitful about taking my money. I expect this to be dealt with and a full refund.

      I purchased a knife that I was told would be free and that all I needed to pay for was S/H. After I ordered the knife and paid for it I was then sent to a page where I could add additional products. I turned down the offers and then was taken to a page that showed I had been automatically subscribed to a self defense course that I didn't want for $57. I do not want any money taken from my account ** of information not given to me till after I made a purchase. I wouldn't have purchased the product had I known before hand. This is borderline fraud and a scam. I would like this subscription canceled. Thank you!

      I bought a knife from SOS Self Defense Tools in February 2022. From then on, I am being charged $57 a month. I looked this up and from reading other reviews and complaints, this is for a so-called subscription. I never authorized this payment for a subscription. There was no warning about a trial period and then paying for a subscription. I tried going to National Self Reliance Initiative to log in to cancel this subscription, but they do not have my email address on file. Which means i do not have a subscription with them. I also searched all of my email and cannot find anything related to SOS, National Self Reliance, Self Defense, etc. Nothing came up. so i can't even go to an email and try to cancel this subscription or reference anything. is there a way for me to get back $741 that was stolen from me with this company? I do not look at my banking statement often, which is why it took me a year to realize what is going on. My fault. But this doesn't give them the right to continue to steal money from me, and others. Can anything be done about this?

      On 6/7 ***************************** selected an offer for a free Steel River *********************** and a 14 day trial membership to the National Self-Reliance Initiative, formerly known as Science of Skill Academy, an online training program similar to a ******* account. At the end of the trial, the membership would renew at $57 a month, as described extensively in the offer and on checkout. This is the same way that ******* runs their service.


      The information about the Academy Trial and its subscription was disclosed in the offer in multiple spots and on the check out page.

      I could find no calls and the first email we received was on 2/26/2023 with the information provided . I have cancelled the subscription and refunded a total of 6 charges. Which is beyond the 60 day Money Back Guarantee that is offered for all products and services.

      Once a month I am being charged $57 for an apparent subscription that my husband never signed up for. I am guessing he might have bought something at one point but then was charged monthly after the initial purchase. from what i could see in our checking account we have had $741 stolen from us. contacting them did not work. no one answers the phone. no one responds to email. according to reviews there are a lot of people with this same problem. i would like my money back that they have taken from me.

      Got an e-mail about a free knife that I just had to pay shipping on. Total was 22.90 for knife..in May or June of 2021. From June 2021 until now they have been taking $57.00 a month out of my checking account. Was able to call this company SOS (Science of Skills). They said it was for self defense online courses that I signed up for, which I never signed up for anything. Lady said they could cancel and refund the 57.00, which sucks..........then said they would refund 171.00 out of almost 2000.00 that they have stolen from me. That was after I said I never signed up for anything. How can these people get away with this. I should have noticed this but did not but that should not matter if it is illegal............should it?

      On 10/15/2021 ***** ********* selected an offer for a free Steel River Midnight Pearl Stiletto and a 14 day trial membership to the National Self-Reliance Initiative, formerly known as Science of Skill Academy, an online training program similar to a Netflix account. At the end of the trial, the membership would renew at $57 a month, as described extensively in the offer and on checkout. This is the same way that Netflix runs their service.


      The information about the Academy was given in multiple spots of the offer page and at the complete order on the checkout page. Please see the attached screen shot 


      On 2/22/2023, ***** contacted our phone support team to cancel his membership and request a refund. Our team member promptly canceled the membership and refunded 60 days of membership per our return policy and terms of service and an additional approved month refund. Totaling 90 days.

      Purchased an item on 2023 Feb 07 and was charged $9.95. On 2023 Feb 21 I received a notice from my card company that a charge of $57 was applied by the same company (SOS Self Defense Tools, aka Science of Skill, aka 365 Holdings)When I attempted to contact them through their website, I was informed that this was for a subscription. I received no email information about this subscription, and besides the chat option, there is no way to contact the company. It's a con.

      Don't know when it started but I'm getting billed $57. each month for reasons unknown to me. I have called them and they said they would cancel/stop billing me,, it hasn't happened yet.       On about January 28, 2023 I ordered online from this company. All orders come with a "trial" membership for which you will get charged $57 on a recurring basis. They claim in the order confirmation email that a follow-up email will contain your login and username. This email is never sent, thus the customer cannot login to their account or cancel it. The company has not replied to emails, phone calls, or chat messages on their own website. I informed them in my initial email that I would file this report if I were charged $57 for this scam "membership." I was charged, with no reply from the company, therefore I'm filing this report. Buyer Beware!

      Looking at the Better Business Bureau page I'm convinced your business model is tricking customers into a trial they cannot cancel. 


      You claim in the attached, screenshotted, email that a follow-up email will contain login information. Presumably that's where one would cancel their trial membership. Of course, you never send this email (as I have not received it) which allows you to charge my account, since I have no way of cancelling. Outrageous. 


      If I get billed I'll be sure and file a BBB complaint of my own.
