      I took our Cadillac SRX in for an oil change &tire rotation on 10/26/23. Once the work was completed I paid the bill and departed. The next day 10/27/23 I realized the center piece of the wheel cover was missing. I immediately called the Goodyear service center and spoke to ****, the manager, I reported that the piece was missing and asked him to check to see if they had it. He checked and said it was not there. I went to the Cadillac dealer and purchased a new part for $65.00 that day on 10/27/23, and took the part, copy of the invoice to **** the same day to show him the piece was missing off the wheel. He told me he would submit it to Corporate for consideration of payment and call me as soon as they made a decision.After a month went bye I called to speak to **** on 11/30/23 and was told he was on vacation due to return 12/4/23. I decided to call corporate myself to check the status of my request for re-embursement on 11/30/23(************) and spoke to ****** She gave me a case# *******. She informed me **** was on vacation, but he would call within the week of his return on 12/4/23. She also told me if he did not call to call back to corporate.**** did not call so I called back to corporate and spoke to ***** on 12/12/23. ***** told me **** was supposed to handle this on local level. I requested that she see I was paid for the part because I was tired of the back & forth. She took down my complete address, and as of 1/30/24 I have heard or seen nothing. The part was either not put back on, or not installed properly and came off less than 24hrs after the work was performed. I want the $65 refunded to me not as a cedit, but as check payment. I will never do business with Goodyear again.I cannot upload a copy of the bill, but I gave them a copy and will be happy to make BBB a copy and mail it upon request.

      I was called from Goodyear the day I sent my complaint. They left a message on my answering machine without identifying themselves, and was told that the local Goodyear manager, ****, would contact me to resolve the complaint to my satisfaction. I have never heard from anyone from Goodyear again.  I waited for two weeks, and was going to contact BBB again about my complaint. Now you are telling me it is closed. I am not satisfied with this at all.

      On 1/20/2024, Goodyear performed full synthetic oil change in my vehicle with my agreement while I was waiting. An hour and half later, ******* ******* (on the Invoice) told me that the tailgate light was burn out. She asked my permission for replacement. I heard $15.00. I gave permission to do so. Another 15 minute later she told me that my vehicle was ready to check out. I showed ******* $10.00 manufacturer coupon. ******* asked a staff (I believe he is the owner) to apply the coupon on my bill in addition of the store discount. That guy instructed ******* to denied my coupon. I also noticed that the charge on replacing tailgate was $50.00 not $15. The light bulb was only cost $2.78. The labor charge more than 15 times of the cost of the merchandise. Im wondering it need an hour work to replace that light bulb since my vehicle already in service at the shop. I already signed my paperwork for replacing the light and the work had done. I just paid my bill and left.
      In my past experience a month ago, Goodyear also replaced a headlight for about $35.00 which the light bulb costs about$15.00. I believe the owner is over charge for replacing tailgate light.

      2. Over charge for replacing tailgate light

      Goodyear Auto Service Center,
      any discrepancies with pricing should be handled at the time
      of service prior to signing the finalized invoice.

      The prices are issued at a corporate level and the stores do
      not have the ability to increase them.
      We understand that there may have been some pricing
      difference for another service, but all prices are set through corporate
      depending on parts and labor time.

      We have extended a free oil change for the next visit
      and can be used for any oil change for any of our Goodyear Auto Service
      locations.

      I’m sure that replacing a small lamp doesn’t need a hour labor for $55.50 I was in the shop. It didn’t take more than 15 minutes to get it done. I believe your cooperative prices definitely over priced for this tiny job.
      I would settle this dispute peacefully unless the oil change is guarantee for full synthetic oil and won’t expire in 2025. If your company close your business,  your company will issue a debt card for replacing the value of the full synthetic oil change at that time.

      I ordered tire online on to be installed on Friday December 29th 2023. I take off work early to head over to Mr. Tire, the installer that Goodyear sent me to. I arrive and was told that Goodyear canceled my order. I talked to, ***** ********, at Goodyear. She set me up to go to the Goodyear Store in ***** **. I dropped my truck off on January 4th and ask them to add an oil change. I go back to get my truck. I pulled in and noticed that my tires were never changed. They changed my oil and "FORGOT" to put on my new tires. Terrible experience. Here is the response that I recieved from ****** at Goodyear. Keep in mind that I sent her the supporting documents and have tried reaching her on multiple occasions. No response. Please see e-mail thread.       While the car was undergoing service, the worker damaged my bumper. The store said a manager would follow up but no one ever did. I filed a claim with the damages department and no one responded.

      I purchased 4 new tires online through the Goodyear website on 11/20/23. There was a promotion going on that if you buy 4 tires you qualify for a 200 dollar rebate. When purchasing my tires online, I applied for the Goodyear Credit Card to finance them. I got approved immediately and the payment obviously went through. My invoice does not have a credit card number provided, since I had just gotten approved for the card seconds ago when making my purchase. I filed the rebate claim so that I can receive my payment, and for the past two weeks, Goodyear's customer service and rebate department have been juggling me back and forth with no solution and they said they cannot help me because my invoice does not have payment (credit card) information to match with their records. I was told attaching my goodyear credit card statement would do, since it has the purchase date on there. Well apparently that is not enough and I have been left with no solution and no rebate. I would like to escalate this and receive my rebate before turning to an attorney for a potential case. It is extremely frustrating that no one in either department cares enough to ask someone else or escalate the issue and I am sure I am not the only one experiencing this isse.

      Hello, I visited Goodyear on 1/8/2024 to have my vehicle serviced. The wait time was approximately 1.5 to 2 hours. The cashier stated that there were additional minor issues with my vehicle and offered services. I declined for the additional services, due to my work schedule. Thereafter, I paid My fee and received my keys by the cashier.
      As I proceeded to my vehicle. I opened the driver side of my door and inside was a crack on my seat, in the area where you adjust the seating. I contacted Goodyear and reported the damage and Mr. ******* answered the phone and Informed me to bring the vehicle back to the shop. I informed Mr. ******* that, I had to work all week and I would bring it in soon. On, 1/15/2024, I took my vehicle back to Goodyear for additional service and also made ****** aware of the damage once again. My vehicle was being serviced for the other issue and was completed within 1.5 hours. As I submitted payment for my service, ******* stated that the technician that serviced my vehicle on 1/8/2024 informed him that, he did not damage my vehicle.
      This is untrue, Good year is responsible for my damage and should complete the repairs. How can this be rectified?

      On 11/21/2023 I had my car’s alignment completed at Goodyear auto and tire center. My car at the time of service had 89,764 miles on it. Today as I file it currently has just over 90,000 miles on 01/12/2024. The reason I am filing this complaint is that the steering on my car is worse off than before Goodyear aligned my car. It is pulling hard to the left. I tried twice calling the Goodyear location but was placed on hold twice. Since this was a corporate owned store instead of asking for my money back, would Goodyear have another one of their auto service centers look at the alignment? I wish not to return to the boardman location since they’re the ones that I feel made the alignment worse. And my car is just a normal w body gm cookie cutter car. Meaning any tech should be able to get the alignment spot on. I really wish to have another Goodyear auto center check my alignment at no cost to me please. Thank you

       I am rejecting this response because:
      Please see attached print out of the initial alignment specs (before and after) and the latest corrected alignments specs (before and after) . No one from the other Goodyear shop said a word more to me once they knew I was there to fix another Goodyear shop’s mistake. However if you look at the alignment print out I was correct in my complaint that the alignment initially done at the Goodyear in Boardman township was bad. I attempted to reach out to ***** today to discuss these finding with her and to make her aware of how this other shop treated me and did not explain anything to me. However, no one picked the phone at Goodyear customer service. I would just like to clarify the specs on my car. As far as how off they were between the two shops. It looks like I have a bad ball joint or tie rod, but again good year never said one word to me once they corrected the first shops mistake. Thank you

      I bought 4 brand new Assurance WeatherReady tires on 9 January 2024 and was promised a rebate credit card of $100. I filled out the rebate form online and uploaded all the documents needed to qualify (As you can see yourselves). My claim number is **********. They denied my claim and didn’t tell me why. I believe they are committing fraud with this rebate program by promising money back to get people to purchase their tires and then denying peoples claims. I appreciate any help you can provide with this endeavor. Thank you.

      We went to good year tire at **************************************************************************** on 12/29/2023 approximately at 600pm EST. We arrived due to a nail in our right rear passenger tire. It was holding air but we were concerned about the air in our 2018 *** Terrain Denali. E never received any alert from Onstar or the *** app that the tire was greatly losing pressure and when we checked at the house the pressure was at 33 PSI. After we got there and the technician ************************* stated we could fix it. A short while later they brought the tire into the waiting area and started that the valve stem was broken and the tire was not holding air at all. The valve stem was never an issue and the tire was holding air fine. The manager **** said he was going to contact corporate to see what can be done as we purchased custom 22 tires with rims and were not cheap. They gave us a card with a managers name of ******************************* which was not at the location at all. Something had to be done as the technician broke my valve stem on my tire.

      We have contacted to Manager at the Goodyear service location and they have stated that upon customer's arrival that the **** sensor was already damaged and a s**** was in the tire which is an after market tire on a 22 inch rim on a 30 profile tire and as they tried to see if they could put air in it is when they noticed that the valve stem was broken and made the customer aware right away and the customer presented to them a very threatening behavior in which the location was ready to contact the local police department. I have sent the District Manager for the location an email and they have followed up with the customer and are awaiting for the customer to respond with any documentation.

      Just Tires ***** ***** said a new catalytic converter was needed in 2018. Work was performed and paid for. Smog checks were passing (allegedly illegally & unbeknownst to me) over the next few years until 2023. According to a different mechanic performing a smog check in August of this year, the incorrect catalytic converter was installed in 2018. I made phone and in-person appointments with the Smog Referee. I also filed a complaint with the ****** ** ********** ****** (***). The *** representative ******* ******* assisted me through the process. We met with the Smog Referee in *********. The Smog Referee performed a 2nd smog check and confirmed that the catalytic converter installed in 2018 was indeed the incorrect one for my vehicle. ******* also visited Just Tires on my behalf to resolve the matter after the Smog Referee confirmed the incorrect part was installed. ******* advised me to contact Just Tires Store Manager ******* ***** to proceed in resolving the matter. I emailed ******* on 9/6/23 to further explain the situation and confirm I had the correct email. On 9/8/23, ******* replied and
      asked for all documentation to forward to corporate. I asked ******* to provide the appropriate corporate contact so that I could forward the documents and CC him. On 9/12/23, he refused to provide the information so I went ahead and forwarded him the documents in good faith on 9/12/23. It has been well over 100 days since originally providing the documents to *******. He has not responded to my emails and no corporate representative has made contact with me. As a result and not wanting to be without a functional vehicle, I bought my own catalytic converter from ******, found a reliable mechanic to install it, and completed a 3rd smog check that finally passed.

      For the negligence, lost time, stress and inconvenience, my desired resolution is to be fully refunded for all expenses totaling $1,689.41 (All receipts attached).

      I am rejecting this response because: The issue has not been resolved. The claim mentioned in Goodyear's response has yet to be open according to an employee assigned to the claim. I knew nothing of the claim until I filed a complaint with BBB. Apparently, it was filed on 10/24/23, but I was not informed. It took three attempts over three days to get in touch with a Claims Department representative. My efforts enabled me to gain information about the status of the claim. According to the representative, the department is behind and understaffed. There are eight claims ahead of mine. Therefore, I am not satisfied with the lack of communication, but much more importantly, a refund has not been issued.
