      We purchased tires in November of 2022 they were worn and had to be replaced in May of 2024 we are hqve and have been having issues with these tires since purchasing. They do not want to warranty them even though they have a warranty on them.

      I do not have one from Goodyear the tires were purchased at ******** and had a road hazard coverage but on Goodyear's site they state their tires have like a 5 year warranty you would have to contact them for that specific warranty as I do not have it

      We have gathered the tire inspection results from the
      location who inspected the tires and checked the alignment on January 18, 2025.
      The alignment is out and the tires have Inner shoulder wear which is not
      covered by the Goodyear Highway Auto And Light Truck Tire Limited Warranty. The
      customer has been contacted today and was explained if want to go back to the
      store who inspected the tires on January 18,2025 and to take a copy of the
      original tire purchase invoice, a prorated discount can be provided on a set of
      new Goodyear brand tires and the customer states will not go back to brand tires nor the location. The customer contacted our office January 20,2025 it was
      explained at that time if wanted to pay for a new set of Goodyear tires and
      send in invoices we would follow up with the refund amount customer mentioned
      would not go back to Goodyear brand.

      I will never own another set of Goodyear Tires, the truck had alignment inspections regularly and had just been aligned on the Friday before it was taken to ***** for the tires to be inspected.  The guy was a jerk at ***** and no I will never visit that location again (his name was ****).  I will never waste my money of anything Goodyear has to offer.  The 1st set of these tires were worn before 6 months was up and now this 2nd set has not worn good either.  Their certified dealer tried to tell me it was not the tires it was because my truck was big and heavy and had 20 inch tires on it and it would always do this.  All of our trucks have had 20 inch tires on them and have not worn like these current tires are doing.

      12/07/24 Seeking compensations of 1828.46 Paid amount by me to the Honda dealership Went to have a diagnostic performed for running hot hair. Good year committed that it was due to the ac compressor. Advised critical was due now was based off diagnostic was the radiator and CV Axle. Service performed at GY performed radiator CV axle and oil change service. Days later the car started to smoke returned car to GY they indicated it was my alternator. Informed GY that was not accurate due to the Honda dealer replaced alternator months prior. I informed store that the smoke was coming from hood and the ac vents. The store associate assured me over and over again that it was the alternator. I drove the smoking and in safe condition given that they was going to only replace alternator given that is what they said the issue was. I had to drive the car to the dealer given they alternator was under warranty. Paid for another dialogistic with dealer. Dealer reported that the smoking was due to compressor lock up and that it was melting that would leak to my drive belt causing more damage. I contacted goodyear to inform them what the dealer said. The associate I talked with before became combative and argue with me that the dealership was wrong it was the alternative. They did not apologize. She did not offer to see the report from the dealership. She did not offer anything. As a result the dealership replaced and I paid for diagnostic and compressor and kit replacement. I contacted corp to put in a complaint the rep said he would open claim and to send requested documents . This was sent to Goodyear on Dec. 13th. I never received a follow-up even after emailing the rep numerous time. 3 weeks later I finally called got another rep who was very rude and no help. I asked for a manager he provided me with ******* ****** info. Called back and talked to a ***** who intervened with the issue.Offer not good enough. I am requesting the full amount I paid to dealer Claim Number *******

      I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ********, and find that this resolution is acceptable in regards to the car issue. The request within the compliant as it pertains to the employee was never discussed nor addressed by the company. In addition during the resolution process with the company I was included on email communication in which a comment from the customer service manager was unprofessional and rude. This further caused me emotional distress and anxiety to have work with them to come to a resolution of this complaint. The person or persons I worked with to resolve the issue never issued an apology for the unprofessional and rude comment that was made in the email communication. I am very disturb and disappointment in the words in which I read coming from a professional staff member who has the title of customer service manager.

      I went to Goodyear **** ********** **** and I spoke with ******** *******. I advised her that I needed 1 tire. ******** said she can sell me one tire at full price of $235. I advised ******** that according to my corporate discount, the amount of the tire(including tire rotation, etc etc) the total of $174. ******** ******* advised me that she cannot sell me the tire for that price even if I purchased the tire online.

      This place scammed me out of a lot of money. I brought my car in on a check engine light. I had already had the codes tested for free at AutoZone, but they said their system is more sophisticated and they have to charge $195. When they ran it (which took them 1.5 hours) it came up EXACTLY the same as the AutoZone diagnostic. I needed a Map sensor, a manifold pressure sensor, crankshaft position sensor, & an O2 sensor. They said that if they fix the MAP sensor & change the oil the rest will probably fall into place. After a bit, they start their scam of "recommended" services. I told him I ONLY WANT THE NECESSARY. I said it just like that. The other sales rep was in the room when I said it, but later said he wasn't. He conned me into a fuel system cleaning, which I found out later was actually NOT necessary, only recommended. Why was I charged for that when I ONLY wanted the necessary? He made me believe it was. In the end, after three hours & over $600, they managed to change the oil & turn the check engine light off long enough for me to get home. An hour later, the engine light is back on, the car is still shaking & turning off while driving; unsafe to drive. I called there, the rep laughed & said, "That's how it goes." I had to go back on a Sat, and naturally, no manager is there. This time, he said the "solenoids" are faulty. I asked if they were on the car yesterday. He said, "no". Oh? So that means they're new, & under warranty. All of a sudden, he said he "didn't know" if they were on the car yesterday. Well, which one is it? Why didn't the diagnostic run that yesterday when I left? No answer. Suddenly, it's a solenoid problem. He "cleaned" them & said that if it goes back on again, I need new solenoids. How could they do that in only 25 minutes - the first diagnostic took 1.5 hours? He knows I was frustrated & made up something to get me out. They didn't do anything to this car except change the oil and charge me $600+.

      I appreciate that she will do this the correct way through written communication.  Update me when you hear from the store that had two opportunities to help me, but refused.  I have taken my car to a legitimate mechanic, and I will send paperwork to you that shows gross negligence on the part of Goodyear.  I can only go to the dealer to fix the problem.  That appointment is on Monday.  This means I have been driving almost one month with a dangerous car.

      I bought 4 goodyear tires and had them installed on 12/4/2024 for my 2017 Toyota Sienna at the local Goodyear store, ***** ***** ** **** ********** ********** ** **********. Goodyear had a promotion during that period for free installation when 4 tires purchased and installed, also I had a personalized anniversary goodyear offer to my email account of $100 off, when having 4 tire purchased & installed. However, the above named local store doesn't want to honor the free installation promotion nor the anniversary $100 offer. I did complain to the corporate help center and was promised that a district manager will investigate the case. After repeated requests, a person ***** ***** ***** * ************* finally called me on 12/16/2024 and got my information and promised me to called me back in 45 min after talking to the local store, he never did call me back and didn't reply to my text message nor answering my phone call.

      I am seeking the $244 settlement/resolution
      1. The installation costs $144 for 4 tires and
      2. My personalized $100 anniversary coupon

      Following a review of the customer's request a refund in the amount of $240.00 will be issued as a courtesy. 

      Unfortunately, Goodyear Auto Service Centers are unable to stack multiple discounts on a single purchase. Due to the customer filing and being approved for a discounted warranty adjustment on the tires the location was unable to provide the free installation promotion at that time. The customer also had an additional Anniversary discount promotion that states that it cannot be used with another discount or coupon code. 

      As a gesture of goodwill Goodyear will honor the request as a courtesy and process the requested refund. 

      We appreciate the customer providing us the ability to further assist.

      Good morning, today I went to have my vehicle serviced at Goodyear located at **** * **** *** ******** ** *****. It was for a vehicle alignment. The representative made me wait an hour for them to finish the vehicle, then they would deliver it to me and charge me $183.60 for the service. when driving the car the steering wheel was not aligned and was bent to the right from there I called them and told them about the problem because of an appointment at work I had to return in two hours I live 30 miles from that Goodyear mechanic and when I returned the mechanic checked it and then got very angry telling me that my vehicle had problems and tried to humiliate me saying that he knows about these types of problems I defended myself and explained to him that I had to fix the steering wheel problem the vehicle does not have any problems or any accidents the vehicle barely has 67 thousand miles it is a Ford Escape Titanium and the mechanic continued to attack me continuously about my car having problems the problem could have come from the bumps since his pressure was continuous and this was already causing problems and other customers came I left a review on Google of this address and here I am demanding two things the return of my money and additionally that they reimburse me for my time and the problems caused by this place that belongs to them as a Goodyear location in addition to this demands an investigation of this mechanic involved and how they can see the cameras or request it to observe what is happening. The mechanic in front of me asked the gentleman who serves customers to deny the order before ordering an alignment, since customers who get alignments always have damaged cars and then complain. The mechanic said unethical and unprofessional phrases and comments about Goodyear in front of a customer. On my last visit I asked the person in charge to change my account address and phone number to the current one and they didn't do it.

      I am reaching out to you because about 2 months ago I went to Goodyear **************************************** for a basic oil change and inspection and then just two months later my car is completely dead with absolutely no oil in it. I got the oil change with ******* miles on the car and when it completely died on me leading to me not having a car anymore it had ******* about miles on it so I only drove ***** miles give or take a little. My car shouldn't be out of oil completely in just 2 months and not even ***** miles driven. On January 2nd 2025 my car started to act strange to where when I shut my car off the engine would still act like it would want to start up so I brought it to Goodyear to see what was wrong with it. When I brought it there and they went to take a look at it and my car was completely dead it wouldn't start, turn on or anything. They then tell me there wasn't any oil in my car and also said that my car WASNT leaking oil or anything and they also told me that i should just junk my car and tow it because there was nothing they can do so it leads me to believe that they didn't put oil in my car when I got that oil change so in my opinion they gave me an unsafe car to drive even after going for the oil change and inspection and also they just took my money without doing anything. My car was a ************************************************************************************************************ complaints about the car at all it was a perfect car and it got me where ever I had to go with no issues. I am extremely mad at goodyear because of what they did to me to have no car at all and have to junk it and have to look for a whole new car when I should not have to in the first place. I want a full reimbursement or replacement for my car. It is not fair to me that they have completely destroyed and ruined my car for a mistake that should not have happened in the first place.       Company replaced unneeded sensors without being able to have dashboard light to turn off. Admittedly showing ABS light still visible on dashboard. Although another light was turned off on the dashboard. Go to leave with vehicle and all lights come on and as I go to start the vehicle the lights come on and the dashboard starts clicking indicating the electrical connection was shorting out, sent video to the business for help and the answer is, it must be something else and I should tow it to their location, as they know I stuck on the side of the highway…

      Good morning,

      Following a thorough investigation of the customers complaint the request for a refund is being denied.

      The customer visited the Goodyear Auto Service Center with an independent diagnosis and request to have the speed sensor replaced with a smaller part. The customer was advised following compliance of the customer's request that the larger sensor with the cable was required.

      Upon further inspection of the customers 2005 Ford F-150 it was discovered that the customers right front drive axel was in desperate need of repair before a catastrophic failure occurred. Pictures of the axel have been included for review as well as the invoice and vehicle condition report from the Goodyear location. Multiple recommendations were made for the 20-year-old vehicle with 225,000 miles accrued as it was found to be in need of maintenance issues.

       The service that was completed on the customers vehicle did not contribute to the new issue of the vehicle now not starting. As a result, the decision was made to decline the requested refund of the invoice regarding the requested sensor replacement, and axel service.

      My issues with the company started 11/23/2024. I took my car in to get fixed and they told me it was going to cost 1,625.47. They fixed the spark plugs and hit pressure fuel pump. But I took it in two days later. (11/25/24) They told me that I needed a new engine. But then the next day I get a call saying it’s the catalytic converter and I need that replaced. I wasn’t able to afford it. Well they then called me back and said they would replace it on them. They fixed it (November 29th, 2024) and then I had to take it back the next day. (Saturday November 30th) Well they looked at it again and I was told I needed the engine replaced again. They told me they would replace the engine at no cost to me. (And they would look on Monday December 2nd 2024 for the engine. Well I get a call the morning of the 2nd and they wanted to look at my car again. They came and got my keys and picked my car up at my house and took it to the shop. They then called and said someone put something in my gas tank. And I needed to contact the insurance and claim vandalism. Now thanks to them miss diagnosing my car it is being totaled. I also have all conversations with them recorded and proof of what they said. And a witness when they told me they were fixing my car that was on the side of the building and no one went out there and they made me wait for no reason. They have caused me emotional stress. And left me without a vehicle with a one year old. They employees there don’t communicate very well and one mechanic said one thing and they other said something different.

      Goodyear Trailer Tire: Goodyear Endurance ************ DOT 2022

      My original email to Goodyear dated December 1, 2024. Response dated December 17, 2024.

      I went to Discount Tire in ** ******* ****** **.

      After a few days, Discount Tire informed me that Goodyear was offering me a $39 discount on my next purchase.

      This offer is ridiculous.

      The tire is only 2 years old, has only 8,000 miles on it and is definitely extremely poor quality.
      After 2 years, the tire was already so worn that it was close to blowout.
      Discount Tire confirmed "separation section" and the dent was already visible.
      Something inside the tire was broken, the carcass layer and/or the steel belt.

      Following a review of the customer's complaint and documentation provided the request for refund is being declined. 

      Unfortunately trailer tires do not come with a mileage warranty therefore the trailer tire model the customer has issue with is not eligible for consideration. 

      Further, the customer states that the tire "is only two years old". One picture that the customer provided clearly shows that the tire was produced in the 20th week of 2020, which places the tire over four years old. The location that sold the replacement tire to the customer was contacted with a request to confirm the date of production code. The tire retailer confirmed that the tire that was sold did not have the date code shown in the picture.

       I am rejecting this response because: The answer from Goodyear makes NO sense.

       This tire has a 6 (six) year warranty regardless of mileage. Mileage is just additional information to highlight how bad the quality of the tire is.

      I don't know which picture you are referring to with the DOT 2020 you mentioned and saw?

      You can see DOT 2022 (TwentyTwentyTwo) clearly on the picture *************

      I am sending an additional picture ******** DOT ******** where I marked the DOT 2022 in case you still can't find or see it.

      In addition, I am sending you a picture with the confirmation from Discount Tire in ** ****** about the DOT 2022.

      I don't understand your contact with "the place that sold the replacement"? What does a replacement have to do with the tire?

      WHO did you contact exactly? Which company?
      What information do you expect from "the place that sold the replacement" about "the tire that was sold"?
      The tire was originally equipped with the trailer I purchased from Outddoor RV in Oregon in October 2022 (TwentyTwentyTWO).

      To be honest your response make absolute no sense to me.
      Tires comes with 6 years warranty.
      Your response: "Unfortunately trailer tires do not come with a mileage warranty therefore the trailer tire model the customer has issue with is not eligible for consideration.  " You telling me NO warranty???

      DOT is clearly 2022: you telling me it's 2020??? Please send me a picture where I can see the DOT 2020!

      Good evening, 

      Prior to the customer contacting the BBB a claim was set up on his behalf following an email that was received. The claim was set up regarding a premature wear complaint due to the concern stated in the email. The complaint written to the BBB stated that the tire was two years old and wore out too quickly. The Endurance trailer tire the customer has purchased does not come with a tread-life mileage warranty. A replacement tire warranty guide has been attached.

      As a courtesy only the customer was offered a prorated adjustment as if the tire were being processed as defective in some capacity. The Discount Tire location called into the Goodyear dealer line and provided inspection details. Assistance was declined as a warrantable condition per the details provided but a courtesy adjustment was offered. The tire was prorated based on the remaining tread available which would provide a refund in the amount of $39.50.

      I called and spoke to ****, and ****** at Discount Tire who both assisted the customer with his replacement tire purchase. They advised that the customer complained that he has had two tires in the same placement on his trailer have the same issue. The customer was advised that he might have an axel that is bowing or a suspension issue with his trailer. It could not be confirmed as the customer brought the tire in dismounted from the trailer. The dealer also stated that the customer was advised at the time of replacement that the tire was not defective.

      The customer is welcome to accept the courtesy refund in the amount of $39.50 that will be honored from his original offer.

      The tire is/was DEFECTIVE!!! I received WRITTEN confirmation from Discount Tire!!!

      Why do they keep talking about "replacement" when there is no replacement?

      What does Goodyear expect? For someone to drive to a dealer with a broken tire?

      The axle was checked by an expert and they already told me the tire is BROKEN INSIDE!!!

      Broken/torn steel belt inside the tire!!!!

      The tire is poor quality!!! THAT'S A FACT!!!

      Why don't you take responsibility for this extremely POOR quality tire???

      I want this complaint to be escalated to management.

      The current person is representing Goodyear in a way that is damaging to the business.

      The person who is responding now should be fired.
