      I purchased my vehicle in September 2023, brand new. Not even a year after purchase, I have been told I need to purchase new tires for my vehicle because they are now unsafe. I took my car in for an oil change and tire rotation at **** ******** Ford and they stated that my tires should not be already due for a new pair and that these wore very quickly. This is extremely unacceptable as this car is brand new and had lower mileage. It appears these tires often have issues.

      The customer was contacted through provided email. The customer was provided a Goodyear Service location to contact in order to process warranty inspection. A claim has been open for further investigation.

      The tires in question do not carry a mileage warranty but we will still take it into consideration based on 40,000 miles.

       I am rejecting this response because:
      They made me jump through hoops, take off work and drive to another location despite my first tire information coming from an authorized Goodyear dealership only to offer $136 credit off of tires when their tires lasted less than a year and less than 30k mileage. They continue to say they put poor quality tires on new cars despite My previous brand new car lasting double the mileage and 4 years before needing new tires on the "stock" tires added. Their response to their awful tires is they always put awful tires on brand new vehicles.

      We do understand the frustration of the consumer, but the tires supplied as original equipment do not carry a mileage warranty. We have attached the warranty for review and confirmation.

      Regardless of this fact, we offered to prorate the tires as a courtesy to the consumer. Given the details provided per inspection, the proration would have provided 31% off the current retail, as a courtesy we adjusted the proration to allow 70% off.  Upon correspondence with the consumer, they advised the desire to seek legal actions. A copy of the warranty was provided to the consumer for review.

      I went to express oil change on Oct 18 & they informed me that when removing oil drain plug the threads had been previously damaged & replugged with oversize plug to correct the problem. I would need a new oil pan. My previous several oil changes happened at goodyear auto service. This same problem happened with my daughter's car, using the same goodyear store. We thought it was a fluke & we bought a new oil pan & fixed the problem on our own after the goodyear store told us they couldn't change her oil without a new pan. But now that it happened on my car as well & with express oil's assurance that this was a result of previous oil change due to over torque during oil change. I went to the goodyear store requesting they perform oil change on my car & replace the oil pan that they damaged with no cost to me since they damaged it & they denied my request. I emailed goodyear on Oct 24 from their website with request & got no response. I also emailed them directly at *********************** from my personal email on Oct 31 & got no response.

      On 9/25 I had a flat tire and brought it in to Goodyear in Lawerence NY. They suggest a new tire, fine I understand they want make money selling tires, I knew I just needed a plug so I kindly decline a new tire . They also brought to my attention that my rack and pinion needed to be replaced because it was leaking. I mentioned that they replaced it almost exactly a year ago by you guys, how can it be leaking. They could not find the history in their system I told have it saved. I brought back the invoice the next day they ask me if I can leave my car for a couple days so they could work on it since it is still under warranty, I want to note that this exchanged was done outside not at the counter not inside. I left. I took it to another mechanic they looked it over nothing was leaking l. I want to add the they replaced my tire rods when they replaced the rack 1389 Dollars . I needed a new tire rod and ball joints earlier that year l, and had replaced at another mechanic. Did Goodyear do anything my car? I didn’t notice until I had the invoice in front of me they claimed it was replace as well. The cherry on top of this whole event is when they replaced my rack year ago in 11/3/23 I had replaced in 2022 around the same because of an accident! What is going on here!?

      We have tried numerous times to contact the customer and when do so it automatically goes to customer voice mail. We have left several messages for the customer to return our call so we can see what assistance can be provided for the customer. For further assistance I have contacted our local Goodyear shop for customer to take vehicle for inspection to verify customer concern. We can then at that point see if there is any warranty repairs that need to be made at this time.       I got an oil change and filter. The filter was improperly installed. It blew off the oil light in car came on and seized the engine of my 2018 Ford Escape with 54,000 miles on it. Contacted Just Tires, they towed it from my mechanic to their shop. The Service Manager agreed and apologized for this happening. He filed an insurance claim and towed back to my mechanic. He told me an adjuster would contact me in 24-48 hours. No contact from an adjuster. Service manager stopped taking my calls. In the mean time, I have no vehicle to get to work. I am still making payments on a car I cannot drive. I want them to take accountability and make this right!

      The response is rejected because I have already done what they did.  I already have a claim #.  I already left a voice message and sent an email to the claims department.  I have got no response.  This was over 2 weeks ago.  I HAVE NO TRANSPORTAION!  This is not acceptable.   The lack of sense of urgency is a disappointment.   My car with 54,000 miles on it is sitting for 2 weeks waiting for someone to take action.

      I made an appointment online for the advertised price of $24.99 for a Synthetic blend oil change and entered all vehicle details. Followed up by calling service store and confirming appointment, vehicle details, and advertised price quoted. Representative confirmed. Upon arrival for the scheduled appointment, I was then advised a price almost triple of what was stated and only explanation that was given is that they have no control over the ads on their site and it is a corporate issue and they would not honor the advertised price even after receiving confirmation via email and verbally through one of their store representatives. This is a poor and illegal business practice of false advertisement/bait and switching to just get customers in the door.

      Goodyear tires on my vehicle have worn out before the advertised life expectancy. I have taken the vehicle to Just Tires and they have confirmed the same however claimed that Goodyear won't offer prorated replacement even though these didn't last the full warranty length. I need to have my tires replaced under the warranty advertised by Goodyear.

      Upon review of the customer’s complaint, we reached out to
      the customer who stated he had originally purchased tires at a Just Tires location
      which is now closed. The customer stated he had visited another Just Tires
      location in April 2024 to replace a tire under his road hazard warranty. He had
      asked about mileage warranty assistance on the remaining three tires but did
      not receive assistance. The customer was unable to find his prior invoices. We
      gave the customer a choice of which shop he would like to use for his warranty,
      Just Tires or Discount Tire. The customer decided on Discount Tire.

      We reached out to Just Tires and acquired a copy of the
      customer’s history so we could assist with the warranty. The customer visited
      Discount Tire for his inspection, and we gave approval for a 50% concession
      based on unused mileage on the three tires. For customer satisfaction we provided
      free replacement of the 4th tire which was replaced earlier this
      year so that all four tires would be at the same tread depth. The customer has
      Run Flat tires on his vehicle which do not carry a mileage warranty. Goodyear
      will still assist with premature treadwear up to 40,000 miles.

      The customer’s complaint has been resolved and
      he received assistance with his mileage warranty. We apologize for any delay
      the customer may have received while trying to obtain his warranty.

      Brought vehicle to Just tires in media to have 4 tires replaced, along with mount, balance, & alignment. Upon completion of all tires being replaced, I noticed that the rims were damaged, scratched, and gouged. I went in and notified the front desk worker. After notifying the front desk worker he came out took a look as well as one of the guys from in-side the shop. Once I showed them the issue they tried to argue with me about it and got hostile. Great customer service ill tell you HA!. There only solution was oh were sorry. Considering that these rims had no damage prior I would like a fast and adequate resolution to replace the damaged rims. This is unacceptable.

      Spoke to ********* from Good year, told us the DM of just tires would reach out. DM reached out left a voicemail, reutned his phone call, left a message for him to call back multiple times with no return phone calls from the DM. This issue needs to be escalated immediately to the GM of just tires. A resolution has not been met and action is needed ASAP. The rims are not going to be repaired considering they were in perfect condition before the shop trashed them. Rims need to be replaced like for like in the condition that they were in before being damaged. See additional photos attached as well of the damage. I will keep pushing until the resolution demand is met. As you can see these rims are totaled.

      On 9/28/24, I purchased 4 brand new tires. I was only needing 3 because I purchased a brand new one in April but I was advised if I got 4 brand new tires I could get the 100 rebate. I filed the claim and it was denied stating the tires I was advised to purchase did not qualify. I don't work for the tire company. I was advised by the tire specialist the tires qualified so I need my rebate. I would not have purchased these tires from here if I had known I was lied to

The customers tires did not qualify for rebate. The customer reached out to see if there was anything we could do. We offered, as a goodwill, to honor the rebate and sent the customer a check for $100.00.

      I have a warranty claim on the Goodyear territory tire for my F150. It’s an all terrain tire that I expected to perform well and wet and snow conditions and it has not. The tire has been inspected at a local shop and Goodyear has offered an upgrade replacement. The shop recommends the Adventure tire for similar replacement. It’s an all terrain tire. However, they left it up to me to consider other Goodyear tires and the only one I would consider is the Duratec RT. However, the upgrade fee is $590. When I spoke to a rep they told me $290. I was told there may be an “upgrade” fee. The tire has 18,000 miles and the sidewalls are wearing as indicated in the tire inspection, I would like to go with the Duratecs but at a nominal fee, $200.

      Today, on 10/1/2024, I called in a second time. I have received clarification and the total breakdown for install of the Goodyear Adventure tire with ******** **** in ********, ** is $1216 minus a ($751 pro rate warranty credit) = $465 and plus install is $33.90 per tire with my net out of pocket cost being $590. 

      However, my issue is the order summary online at Goodyear Tire installer (***** **** and Service in ******** **) below is a total of $1192 minus a 15% code (GOODYEAR15) for Goodyear bringing it to a total (includes install) of $1145. Sullivan is charging $1216. 

      Please let me know. $1145 minus a $751 credit = $391 out of pocket. Thank you.

      We have spoken to customer that the reason why his price is higher is because he has chosen to purchase tires that are more expensive than what he currently has, therefore there is an upgrade fee associated with that choice as our warranty is to go into a similar tire.

       I am rejecting this response because:

      Vague response by company and dissatisfied with pricing. I am willing to pay a nominal fee at the retail price of the tire and appreciate the credit but still paying more out of pocket than calculations in which I provided that evidence.
