I won a complete bed from ****** auction. When I go to put it together the directions say there are 2 boxes. Well that is not what the auction site said. It said it was 1 box for complete bed. I left message and they said that I was to catch that before I left. So now are we supposed to read the directions from manufacturer before we leave auction? This is fraud and they know it.

Our goal is for everyone to have an enjoyable experience using our website and to get some great deals as well. In order to do that, you will want to familiarize yourself with our item descriptions and how items are lotted. We deal in secondary market items. Secondary market means, these could come from customer returns, overstock, shelf pulls or display/floor models. We have no way of knowing if a customer used the item prior to returning the item or if the supplier simply had too many and sold them to us as overstock. We state clearly in writing throughout the website, the terms and conditions and even signs in our warehouses that we do not test items, we do not assemble items, and we dont verify part lists to confirm completeness. We use 6 different kinds of descriptions when lotting items:Brand New, Appears New, Open Box, please Use Preview, Unverified Condition and Damaged. The following are the definitions for each that are posted in the terms of our auctions: Condition of Brand New: Brand New items are new and unused merchandise. It may not be in its original packaging. They should perform as expected. If you pick up your item and it is not new, or does not work, you can return that item before you leave the pickup location. These items are guaranteed for functionality and completeness. A bidder must examine the item thoroughly when picking up. If the item is not brand new the bidder MUST report this at the warehouse prior to leaving the premises. Once the bidder has left the premises with the item, BidFTA.com cannot issue any refund for issues arising with the item Condition notation of "Appears new": these are items that appear to be in a new condition or have never been used previously. These items are not tested for functionality or completeness -for items that are marked "appears new" a bidder must examine the item thoroughly when picking up. If the item does not appear new or unused or if there is an issue, the bidder MUST report this to the removal staff. prior to leaving the premises. Once the bidder has left the premises with the item, BidFTA.com cannot issue any refund for issues arising with the item. Keep in mind that an item can be listed as Appears New and still be incomplete if the parts available are in Appears New condition. Condition Notation of "Open Box" "Please Use Preview" or "Unverified Condition": Items marked "Open Box" "Please Use Preview" or "Unverified Condition" indicate that they could come from a multitude of circumstances - shelf pulls, overstock, returns. These items could be incomplete and have not been tested for functionality. Taking advantage of the listed inspection days is strongly recommended for these items. BidFTA.com. cannot issue refunds on these items if there are issues arising. Condition notation of "Damaged": Items marked "Damaged" could be new or used, but are noted to have certain damage. If possible, items will have secondary photos that display the damage, but are not still not tested for completeness and functionality and could have more damage than found upon being inventoried by BidFTA.com. BidFTA.com. cannot issue refunds on these items. Being familiar with these terms is very important as to how the items condition is assessed. They are also important to know because they tell whether or not your item can be refunded. You'll want to inspect all of your items prior to leaving the warehouse. It is a potluck! With additional fees you usually end up paying more for an item than you would if you bought it new & undamaged. . Also a better return policy at the store!!!! An item marked as brand new should be exactly that. If you don't inspect before you leave. . Oh well. I buy at a store and have any issues. . I can return for a full refund.

BidFTA makes money from deceptive business practices. Yes, they have their "rules" and "disclaimers" on their site- but they post full stock photos of items such as furniture and full suites/storage sheds, yet in smaller lettering that you wouldn't know to look for if you were new to the site it will say "incomplete". If the item(s) is/are incomplete, they should NOT post the stock photo and retail description or MSRP. MANY people (ESPECIALLY elders) who are either new to the site or who are not internet savvy are getting fooled by this company's deceptive practices. You may find a rare diamond-in-the-rough, but that doesn't negate their irresponsibility to their customers and their deceptions. To remedy this problem, BidFTA should be REQUIRED to only post photos and THEIR description of the item.... An example... on a ******** morning auction, they currently have a listing for a storage shed with the stock photo... the title of the listing is "oneinmil Storage Shed 8'x10' Outdoor Garden Storage Shed" and it shows an MSRP value of $759.99 with the tag of "Appears New". In order to see that it's incomplete, you have to actually click on the listing. MANY people would automatically bid from the listings tile page since it shows "Appears New", thinking that it is the full shed, since the "incomplete" isn't on the tile itself. The photos are all stock except for 2- and those are impossible to tell what is included or even if it's the same box in both photos. The current bid is at $85 with 6 hours to go, and I'd be willing to bet it wouldn't be anywhere near that if people realized it was an incomplete item. I wish screenshots could be included in these reviews!DECEPTION!!!!

If you have ever been in our warehouses, you will see that we receive TONS of product on a daily basis. Our lotters typically list an auction of well over 100 items a day. They do this by opening the box, taking a quick look and then entering the item into the lotting program. They do not assemble or check items for completeness or functionality. There are inspection days and times that we recommend the bidders use to come and take items out of the boxes, plug them in, turn them on, see how they work and decide if you would like to place bids on them. We state clearly in writing throughout the website, the terms and conditions and even signs in our warehouses that we do not test items, we do not assemble items, and we dont verify part lists to confirm completeness. Secondary market means, these could come from customer returns, overstock, shelf pulls or display/floor models. We have no way of knowing if a customer used the item prior to returning the item or if the supplier simply had too many and sold them to us as overstock. We always recommend bidding mindfully, taking the time to read the entire item description, looking to see how many boxes an item comes in and looking at all of the provided photos. If we took the time to verify and inspect all items we receive, then we might as well place a price tag on it and put it up for straight sale. That is why you can find amazing deals in our auctions, but it does take a little bit of work on the bidder's end.

We always recommend taking advantage of the inspection days and times that are listed on the auction on anything listed "Open Box" or on pallet lots because they are not refundable. This information is listed on the auction terms when you register for a bidder number, on every auction that is running and even on the item description of the pallet ****************** placed his bids on. Inspection days are where you can go to the location and preview any item you are interested in. Take them out of the boxes, plug them in, turn them on- do whatever you need to do in order to feel comfortable placing a bid on the item. You are unable to unwrap pallets to look through them, but you can get a pretty good idea of what is contained in the pallet lot by checking it out in person.

I have had both very good and very horrible experiences with items I have purchased thru Bidfta. I understand that the company can not do a thorough inspection or testing of products. However, there are a few simple actions that could be taken so that customers do not feel as if they were totally scammed by an unethical company. 1. If the item is clearly missing pieces, that should be noted in the description (e.g. I won a bid on a dresser that was missing it's top. That was not stated in the bid description). 2. If the item is clearly used, that should also be stated (e.g. I purchased a vacuum cleaner that had visible dirt and hair in the dirt cup and brush. It also did not work.).3. I've purchased 2 items that had ******* Warranty Return stickers on them. This was not listed or pictured in the bid descriptions. Needless to say, the items didn't work. SHAME on Bidfta and ******* for selling these articles without clearly stating these were returned to a warranty company. This IS unethical. If any of the above situations should occur, and the customer identifies it before leaving the warehouse, the customer should receive a refund immediately, without limit (i.e. without using the one time "get out of jail free" refund). That said, I also have purchased new items, in great condition, at a very good price.Bidfta, PLEASE don't respond with your standard "this is how we do buisiness" reply that talks about the different categories. We all understand that. But if you care at all about customer service and doing the right thing, DO address these simple things that will improve your image.

I have to add my comment due to BidFTAs disclaimer noted below. In the last week two items purchase were not listed per the official guidelines. When an item is clearly used as the generator my husband purchased for 200 dollars, it was listed open box. The age of the generator had over 700 hours of time on it and as such required extensive work. This should have been a review for condition or damaged as it did have 3 xxxs carved into it. BIDFTA did not indicate this level of obvious damage. Then wanted my husband to give up his only return on this deception. They also auctioned off a half of a ping pong table showing two sides in the picture only to find it was a half of a table. This was very deceptive. At first they refuse to refund my 150.00. We had to make two trips to the location to get our money back. People say it is my fault for buying open box. Bidfta does not do their due diligence to accurately represent the products. At times they are auctioning unusable garbage and they know it. You invest your time and money and they dont take responsibility. Everyone says buyer be aware. Many people are taken for their scams. Most wonder how what they do is legal when they do not accurately report the condition or descriptions of the items. Pictures are terrible. It is literally a pot luck and a gamble and while they say they want your experience to a good one. This is not true their workers need to be reasonable. If you pay more for an item then it is clearly worth because of their poor reporting of condition they should be more willing to work with a person.

At first i was impressed. Should have read the reviews. I bid on a trampoline worth ath close to $500.00 And I won So I went on to bid on other things that I was interested in because I was going there to pick up I get there they had misrepresented what they were putting up for auction in a ***** $60 kid's trampoline we had thrown ours out was getting ready to have this new one just to be told that they were incorrect and what they sent them. Then I was the last person in my life and the lady that was checking for people's belongings that were missing helped every single person in front of me but when it came to me she just kept marking that all my stuff was missing a young man did try to help me but with having very limited time he couldn't do much. I also was unable to check my things that I bought that were supposed to be like new that was still taped up in the Box because they were rushing me out not willing to help me because they wanted to go home I was only out to my car a matter of 10 minutes when the whole staffing left the building. Needless to say more than half of my items were missing and what they do is if they find them they want you to come back out there to get them one at a time I believe with all my heart this is a bate and switch this is also a scam. The table that I purchased said appears to be new was missing it's a tire base for all I know there could be another Box there that they just didn't want to be bothered to help me.

Once the bidder has left the premises with the item, Fast Track It cannot issue any refund for issues arising with the item Condition notation of "Appears new": these are items that appear to be in a new condition or have never been used previously. These items are not tested for functionality or completeness -for items that are marked "appears new" a bidder must examine the item thoroughly when picking up. If the item does not appear new or unused or if there is an issue, the bidder MUST report this to 2MC Management, Inc. prior to leaving the premises. Once the bidder has left the premises with the item, 2MC Management, Inc. cannot issue any refund for issues arising with the item. 2MC Management, Inc. cannot issue refunds on these items if there are issues arising. Condition notation of "Damaged": Items marked "Damaged" could be new or used, but are noted to have certain damage. If possible, items will have secondary photos that display the damage, but are not still not tested for completeness and functionality and could have more damage than found upon being inventoried by 2MC. 2MC Management, Inc. cannot issue refunds on these items. Being familiar with these terms is very important as to how the items condition is assessed. They are also important to know because they tell whether or not your item can be refunded. You'll want to inspect all of your items prior to leaving the warehouse. Plug them in, take them out of the boxes, see how they work. If they are lotted as "Brand New or Appears new" and there are any issues, you can discuss a refund with the removal staff at that time. However, if they are lotted as "Open Box", "Please Use Preview", Unverified Condition or "Damaged" and once they've left the premises, they are no longer eligible for a refund. We always recommend doing a little homework online for larger purchases. Double check to see how many boxes the item should be in. That way you'll know if your item is complete or not. An item can be listed as Appears New and still be incomplete if the parts available are in Appears New condition. All of these terms are posted in every auction and must be agreed to in order to place a bid.

The problem is perhaps it was a simple mistake on their part but they had me bidding on a trampoline a 16th foot sports trampoline that is for older kids valued at nearly $500 but yet when I got there and I spent more than a hour looking for it it was time for them to go home they did not even bother to look for most of my Missing items though they helped people in front of me the. The one item that I had a problem with was a table that was completely missing the base but they said it appeared new I didn't have the opportunity to open it app and look at it due to the fact that they were ******* me out and didn't want to even help me look for my missing items I would have not taken so long And would it have the opportunity to open app my belongings to look and see if they were all there if I wasn't being rushed out the door and no Help was given PERIOD most of my items were not there. Who were found and supposedly the rest are being refunded my big issue was the way that they handled everything the trampoline was a $60 kids baby trampoline that was in a small box. And because they wanted to go home the lady that was in charge of looking for missing items flat refused to help me look for anything though She helped other people look for their items She just Wanted to get out of there within 10 minutes of me leaving the building they were all leaving locking up and getting in their car I would not have taken so long I would have been able to inspect these things if the cells item that I bid on was correct instead. Instead my time was wasted driving there taking time off work and we discovered the old trampoline that could have still been being used because well I won the item that wasn't really the item that was bit on. And for half of the items that I've been on not to be there that's a problem. It is almost as if they are hoping that you're not able to come back for those missing items when they email you so they can re list them.

Ive been a member for years. I have a 4 digit bidder number. This place is and always a joke. Last purchase did it for me. Said insulation was new pole barn insulation but after getting it is 1 thick pipe insulation. They wont refund even after their deceptive description. These were wrapped in a pallet and new but not as described. If you hid inrestaurant equipment you better bid like its scrap because 90% is and I speak from years of experience and buy it as scrap. If it says working condition verified then it may work. If it say preview then almost always does not work. Just giving my experience with them. They were much better when they were smaller. Top shop used to sell quality equipment now theirs is junk BidFTA ****

The mattress I purchased stated BRAND NEW and it turned out there was a DIFFERENT "band new" mattress inside the unopened box. I was issued a credit instead of a refund. I want a refund OR the exact mattress I purchased. Can file a police report because the mattress I purchased was NOT the mattress I was given, meaning someone at the auction house "swapped" the mattress inside the box. I note, one associate stated "this happens all the time with ***********" and I would recieve a refund. It is unacceptable that this happened and this auction house passes on the mistake to its customers.
